The only time I've run into a furry randomly in public, I was walking around a Walmart and saw someone in a Bad Dragon sweatshirt. The interaction was pretty much just me saying "hey, I really like your sweatshirt" and then replying something like "thanks. Not a lot of people recognize it"

I am not a furry, but i was a decently extreme furry hater. But I learned more about the hobby from forums, videos, and an irl furry friend, and now understand the hobby/lifestyle. Beta, I enjoy your videos, even as a non furry, thank you.

@@caltheuntitled8021 guilty as charged. I’m embarrassed to admit I was a slight furry hater, after a while I started learning more about the community, how it’s super accepting of everyone and became indifferent to them.
I’m now starting to dip my toes in properly, and the community seems really accepting and judgement free. I don’t know if I’d consider myself a furry yet, but the community is so kind I’d be proud if I was.

There was a furry artist in my video game design class last semester, he spent most of his time working on sprites.

This is around Halloween, and the shop we were in had some scented candles, and we go over to smell the 3 different available scents , I had only managed to sniff two flavours however my mum and brother had already started walking off as I started sniffing the last scent, as they are walking away I shouted over and said hey this one has a nice, (I paused to think of a word or phrase that meant the same as scent but at the time I forgot what the word for scent was) nose flavour.

Haha. One of the memes made me remember. So I thought you'd have fun hearing it. So I myself am not a closet fur. I'm out and proud and care less what the haters think. I manage a gas station. My fursonas name is soulcat. I am a suitor fur. So I had an employee in my office and was going over some things when she said something that prompted me to laugh and pull out the pictures on my phone if me suited to show her. I showed her the pic and told her my fursonas name "Soulcat". She gasped, and began repeating " OH MY GOD OH MY GOD... " I finally told her " what? It's not that bad" to which she replied "No you don't understand... I have a cat with the exact same colors and fur patterns that your suit has... And I call him my Soulcat!!!" 🤣
