Thank you for recommending your viewers to come watch my 6-part video series on manufacturing in China 😀 It's very concerning to see how quickly the Pickle kit has been copied and made available on these Chinese online platforms. It certainly looks like the Pickle kit was not protected properly with the correct IP in China when it was manufactured there. You know my personal views on manufacturing doll parts in China. I think it cheapens the overall end product and cheapens the reborn doll industry. I would much prefer to buy reborn kits made in Europe, the UK and US because they are countries/continents well known for producing high quality products. To manufacture in China and not protect your work properly with the appropriate IP and contracts is business suicide.
I will always share your series. it's full of facts! I would rather buy kits manufactured anywhere other than China. The quality of the kit is so much better and better to paint on, in my opinion. In my opinion, once they started manufacturing in China, is when the reproduced kits came out. In my opinion, you would think after the porcelain doll world was destroyed from the sculptors not protecting their artwork, they would have learned their lessons. Some of our current sculptors were making porcelain dolls back then. In my opinion, history is just repeating itself in the reborn doll world.
@@nlovewithreborns2011 Exactly, what happened to the porcelain doll industry in the 90's is a perfect example of how their industry imploded when they relocated their manufacturing from Europe to China. Since the Rona there has been a huge shift across many different manufacturing industries, with many U.S businesses moving their manufacturing from China to other countries in an attempt to stop all the copying nonsense.
Some sculpters blame and go after the wrong people. Ive never in my life seen such unproffesionalism from these supposed "professionals." The lynch mobs they have insighted to go after the litereal poor for simply spending their money LEGALLY. It's gobsmacking. Dont let the bullies dictate your freedoms or your money. There are more of us than there are of them. Its elitism and the elitist doll community pipeline to mean girls is real. Ill always support Stephanie. She has been dragged, bad mouthed, blackmailed, thrown under the bus, ridiculed, and practically burned at the stake for standing up for us. She's been banned, sued, and stalked for looking out for all of us. And she's PREVAILED despite all of that. This is a fight that the elitists, doll cops, bullies, and narcissists of the doll community can not even hope to win. Why can't they win? History. There has been a long long history of replicas of literally everything popular. And it's perfectly legal. The only way to ensure of it not happening to your product is through propper security to which most sculpters have not done their due diligence, and instead of taking accountability, they blame everyone else, and then they weaponize their own incompetence. All dolls matter!

I wish people would start suing bullies. It is so sad when you see children take their own life over bullying. In the case of kids, I think you should be able to sue the parents of the bully. Maybe if this started happening, schools that say they have a "zero tolerance" policy would actually take that seriously and parents would actually do something about it when their kid is a bully. Get them where it hurts-in their wallet. It would be easy to prove with screen shots, since most of this takes place on social media.

I don't know which sculptures you're referring too but I know as a viewer that your channel for over a decade has really helped the careers of many artisit and others working in the reborn field. You and Jackie have really stuck your neck out and took the risk on your channel to promote many artists and sculptures that honestly weren't very popular with the public with even some having some very unusual sculpts and doll art that many viewers viewed as offensive but changed their minds once you started promoting them on your channel. There is such a pattern of artists using your platform and getting where they want to be in the industry, and then turning on you. These artists don't stop and realize that the public is watching all this and seeing how cut throat they are and backing away from buying, viewing, and supporting their platforms. Nobody likes a bully, user, or ungrateful person, especially when it comes to your money.
I am referring to 95% of the sculptors. Only 2 or 3 of them have respect and dignity for the art and us. Thank you for this wonderful comment. I am so glad you have been around so long to witness what they all have done to us.
