You're not wrong, but your stance is not brave nor enlightening, and you are slightly wrong, we are all watching for Ricky to say the funny stuff (hardest job but he fuckin kills it, it really does seem like he's writing some of this stuff beforehand but he is just expert and beyond well practiced) we watch for Bubbles and Julian to attempt to steer Ricky down the rails. I like how bubbles presents himself as a casual talk show host in these clips. He directs the conversation by asking the appropriate questions or through commentary. He challenges his cohosts consistently. Very professional

I don’t know how many of these I’ve watched, but Ricky’s bong-mic gets me every time. And Bubs with the fuckin old desk lamp as his boom. Lmao It’s the attention to the little details that always made TPBs so great. Obviously the main things are great, but those small details that go the extra mile just show their dedication to comedy.

THIS IS THE ONLY CURRENT SHOW AND PODCAST CURRENTLY ON THAT MAKES ME LAUGH TILL I CRY, AND IF I’M NOT CAREFUL AND MISTIME IT, I ACTUALLY SPIT OUT MY DRINK UNCONTROLLABLY BECAUSE I LAUGH (the only other show I can think of that caused me to do that was the golden girls. Frikin hilarious). But I want to mention something else no one really mentions:
Do you know how smart you have to be to play a character like Ricky so convincingly and do all that improvisational brilliance on top of it and stay fully in character? FCKNG SMART. You have to be really smart to play someone so hilariously quirky stupid. And have Incredibly quick mental processing too to fire all that intricate, original and unusual improvisation off the top. AND STILL BE ABSOLUTELY FCKNG HILARIOUS. At times he really runs circles around JP and Mike, who are also very good at what they do, but he sometimes gets a couple steps ahead of them and you can see them trying to keep up without cracking up. 😂 My favorite moments are when Robb is so hilarious that JP keeps cracking up and can’t stop so he tells Robb to stop talking about whatever he’s talking about cause he can’t take it and is slipping out of character. Which I understand fully cause of that drink spitting thing. I don’t know how they hold it together as much as they do. They are all smart boys, but Robb is clearly HIGHLY intelligent, and in real life probably has a very high IQ, possibly even genius level. And in real life, prior to TPB, he actually graduated from college w/ a bachelors, and was a successful restaurant owner in business with JP (friends since high school). The earnings from that joint business venture actually forged the financial beginnings of TPB.
the ads doesn't bother me in the least as long as I can keep getting the guys shows to watch I'm happy. long live the Trailer Park Boy's podcasts and I hope new programs to come. I'm ready for a new season how about anyone else?
