The way we were, in the days when we had a real railway. The yard shunts of 4819 were a great capture, 4819 still with us today with Sydney Trains. Great footage from Exeter, especially the seven car XPT set, seven cars are very rare these days.
2:34 That NLDF Newsprint Van has certainly seen better days. Quite a modern wagon type delivered straight from Comeng Granville in 1981/82 which looks hard to believe judging by this footage. Not suitable for fruit trains due to ventilation issues but suitable for auto components though.

Great pic up with 4819 - didn't know the loco still survives today.
A nice little video we used to run a 48 down the loop line twice a week shunt Thirlmere and sometimes a factory that made wagons and the 82 .
Good jobs hey !
