This is exactly why I'm addicted to reaction videos! Getting to watch someone else experience that is one of the closest things I'll get to that feeling
Both Billie and Finneas have synesthesia, so when they create their music it’s in their minds in a multi dimensional and sensory way. I’ve heard Billie say that she sees the songs as she writes them. And I think that it’s why her music videos are so phenomenal. She’s rewritten what and how much a video has the capability and capacity to deliver to the audience.
Mary j also has this. I would be willing to bet that Eminem does as well. It’s fascinating isn’t it. I’m a big science geek. Probably because I’m adopted. No one looked like me growing up,which made me fascinated with genetics and dna. I met my bio mother years ago but she was lying about who my father is. Last year 23andMe gave me my answer. The kicker. I look so much like his mother it’s eerie. I’m my own nature vs nurture study. I meet him September 14th 2021. Scared and excited as it gets closer.
@@shilohivy4590 hey I hope your meeting goes well I don't know what it's like being adopted but I do know what it's like to meet your bio dad for the first time so I hope it turns out great
fun fact in one of her interviews back when she was 15/16 she said she couldnt do one shot bc water is her biggest fear and she could cry at the thought of putting her head under the water. So whenever Billie makes a mv she covercomes her fears (needels, snakes now water)
I think that an important fact that must be mentioned is that Billie in an interview in 2018 mentioned that she was terrified of the sea, and of the water in general, for bad guy they would do some scenes with water but it gave her so much fear that she had a panic attack and tics, so he was going to try to make a music video with water, and finally for this song he did, so that gives an even deeper message to everything:)
You need to react to her music videos from her last album! She visualizes the music videos while she is writing, at least for the When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, she said that she conceptualizes each song as visual art. When the Party’s Over is my favorite video she’s done, and Bury a Friend followed by All the Good Girls go to Hell (they kind of go together), Bad Guy, and idontwannabeyouanymore are also some of my favorites. Another vote for reacting to that whole album though, it also has great cohesiveness and flow. In The World’s a Little Blurry documentary, it shows how particular she is about her music videos and in one scene she got fed up and said, “I’m directing all of my videos from now on!”
I absolutely love hearing a young woman sing about abusive, toxic relationships without romanticizing them. So many women can relate to that rage of realizing that what happened to you was actually really fucked up.
And she directs her videos!! Please react to her song "Lovely" with Khalid. It has over a billion views, I promise it is worth your time, a gorgeous song.
ikr i agree but i still feel like she’s not getting the recognition she deserves for this and the album bc everyone is like obsessed with that olivia girl i don’t get it
@@sumukhbharadwaj6216 I disagree. I think Tyler’s album was good, but it definitely had a lot of misses. Both Vince Staples and Billie Eilish dropped better projects, but to each their own.
@@vegannoodls3168 i liked olivias album songs but i got bored of it fast cuz its all like similar? billies has different aesthetics to her songs in the album, while olivias for me is just all the same
I love how her outfit clashed with the idyllic setting in the first half of the song. Like she was trapped in someone else's dream of what the relationship should be. So good.
Hahahaha funniest comment "if I could write a line for every time you come through for me I wouldn't even be able to ride a fucking song" first time I heard this that's exactly what went through my head and I knew exactly what she meant but it's just funny that you made the statement😂
I reallly love how you actually listen to the lyric and dissect your own interpretation on it please keep doing mor Billie she is my favorite and I’m definitely hooked on your channel to see this!
Billie directed this. My favorite song EVER of Billie and that's saying a lot. I thought she might be over-hyped too, I waited until Bad Guy kept being at #1 so long, and then I went down the rabbit hole!
Thanks for the reaction with some emoting! One fellow from Ireland wondered if there might be a "I'm singing in the rain" connection or motif - I think there is, because Billie is singing her heart and guts out! Also, I believe the storm is brewing the moment she answers the phone and her ex is on the other end. Billie and FINNEAS could probably make one album with the first 2:29 seconds on it - a jazzy, ballroom album with Xanny, Billie Bossa Nova, Goldwing et. al. and a 2nd album with the 2nd 2:29 (it's split right in the middle) and other perhaps new hard driving music and they would have lots of listeners for both kinds of music. Also her videos are something, like "Bury A Friend" music video is awesome, but in my car when I put her CD in and listen to "Bury A Friend" I think it's almost even better ( because I'm not trying to figure out everything that my eyes are seeing. ) If you ever listen to or watch the "Bellyache" video, most reactors don't capture the notion that it is about a teenage psychopath who's killed her friends and her boyfriend - and it unsettles her stomach! ( written at age 15!!).
When i heard this Song i literally 😭 No matter bro Billie's almost all songs are just fooking awesome! awesomme dude 🥺🖤 Dude, you are really awesome man what i just felt while Imm watching this Music video, similarly we and almost all felt same 🥺❤
Your comments were really deep and right on. I love Billy and especially in this song and this video version. Make sure you check out the version of this song that she sang at the Grammys. She really rocked out with her brother. You’ll like it :-)
Brother you nailed it Ghost ship which had a dope soundtrack, and also Inception a scene that has something hauntingly similar coming through like a 50's style radio.
You have to watch her concert film Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles she does the whole album and some with an orchestra, and choir. It’s phenomenal! True professional in the industry 👏🏼
Sept 3 disney+ Billie performs entire album in order at the Hollywood Bowl with the orchestra Finneas and the LA childrens chorus she belonged to when very young.
Like other's have said, I wish I could go back and relive that first time I ever heard Billie sing. Like you, I was not interested in the teen, but was so fortunate that my daughter introduced me to her when Billie was 16 years old. Three songs of hers blew me away, not only due to her incredible voice, but the depth and honesty of her lyrics and the fact that she recorded this with just her bother in his bedroom. Insane. - If you want to see her incredible voice at age 16, Google "Billie Eilish Copycat Mahogany" and "bellyache like a version". And to see what this young women could do in a video - watch her in the music video "When the Party's over". ruclips.net/video/pbMwTqkKSps/видео.html. These early projects demonstrated that this young women was not the typical teen. She had incredible skill, and talent not seen in generations. Her latest album is a stunning account of her coming of age, and dealing with fame and relationships. I can't wait to see what she does next - but that will probably have to wait until after two years of touring.
Dude ... U are one of my favourite reviewers.. why? Because u hv soul.. you are the only one picking up the colour change effect in the video. By the way Billie does "see" music as colors. Cheers from lockdown 🇲🇾

Would be SO GREAT if you'd do individual songs for twenty one pilots SCALED AND ICY album 🙂... would love to hear what you think of each song (and not that "gloss over" you did with the album review). Even if you don't get clearly the lyrics still like to hear how YOU hear it, interpret it.
There's a behind the scenes video about the making of this you ought to watch. Shows how she directs and gets her vision on the screen. BTW, I just noticed that Billie gets a credit for vocal engineering on this song. Also directed the video, but who's keeping track?
