Roy Batty good comment, I LOvE aprilias v4 tuono, I went MT10 and decated it and sounds so much like the aprilia v4 it's crazy: I know that heresy but gotta hear Rossi's crossplane 4 and you'll agree . No doubt!!!! 2 years owning and ZERO issues, 6,000 miles put on , and ONLY for more fun as time went on! Most fun bike I've ever owned!!! Good comment!!
Den Crane sure he did. I watched both videos too and it helped me have some faith in it when the professionals love it but I test rose EVERY naked and supernaked of 2016/17/18 and went MT10 no brainer ! V4 like sound and character, performance nearliy that of the king of supernakeds hit price of the base nakeds of Suzuki and Honda. Was so clear !
I studied this bike for a year and just had to have one. Found a leftover 2018 in black - which is what I wanted anyway. Still too much silver on it for my taste, so I blacked it all out - a real head turner. No, it's not the baddest bike on the block, but it's certainly the best looking. Besides, in normal use, who needs more than 145 HP? I traded in a VFR1200F for this bike and I'm happy as hell with it. It'll keep up with the VFR up to 80 MPH, and believe me, 467 pounds is a lot more fun than 600 pounds. Smoothest engine in the world, and, yes, the muffler sounds just fine. Plenty of torque in any gear - even in 6th at 25 MPH it's got smooth strong acceleration. I've never ever been burned by a Honda, from my Super-90's in the '60's, my first true love CB750 in 1970, a CL450, V45 750, V65 Sabre, V65 Magna, VFR1200F, and now this beauty. I love this bike. Call it Naked, call it NeoSports Café, call it whatever you want - it's a great bike.
Great review, fella, thanks for posting... I have a demo on Sunday versus Ducati's 2019 Hypermotard... I've been on Ducati's twins for around 10 years now so I'm intrigued to see what it's like to get back on an inline 4
Gurpreet Bajwa hope u tried a mt10. Well if u want performance anyway;..oh and cruise co trip. Lol the performance of the MT10 compared to the 1000r and gax1000s is next level, it's why the MT10 gets tested on group tests with the supernakeds ,..super Duke 1290r, Aprilia tuono Factory , BMW s1000r etc and why the cb1000r and Suzuki gax1000s gets test and labeled as a base naked . If you're jsut lookin. To commute and be comfy, good call! Ifnu want performance,..hurry andtest a MT10 first:
Good work Mr Chops and I have to say your sound quality seems to have gone up a level too. You can really get a nice sense of the sound and character of the bike coming through. 36 k subs not to be sniffed at but you deserve a lot more. One of the best out there. Cheers
Jonny Taylor ya after riding I went MT10 ,..performance wise it and the gsx1000s were SO far off the mark . A reason they aren't considered supernakeds . I LOVEeeeee the tuono!!!! Really wanted a Factory but we don't have Aprilia dealer within 1,200 miles of me so maintenance scared me ,.so I went with a MT10 , decated sound a lot like the Aprilia v4 shockingly wit the he crossplane 4, was also nearly half the cost of a factory in the US. But if we'd had a dealer near may have been a different story!
It looks nice, but test after riding it, I still haven't found a reason to get rid of my GSX-S1000F. I test rode the Honda a couple times because I was thinking hard to buy it, but I'm going to put a quick shifter in, upgrade the suspension, and keep on riding the Suzuki. I've been spoiled by the front fairing and the wind reduction from smashing your body on the highway, and that K5 engine.
ye i got the f as well , after trying the mt10 and super duke gt but as a all rounder i still think the f is a better bike yes the other 2 are more madder just , havnt tried this honda yet
Hey. I have the naked gsxs and really glad to hear you have tested the Honda and are sticking to the Suzuki. I've been lusting after the Honda but glad you reckon it's not worth the switch. Every time I hop on my gsxs I grin all the way to work. It's all I need if I'm being honest. Btw, you said you were going to put a quick shifter on it. I've been told by a technician who worked on the snatch throttle for me that there is a quick shifter available in the ecu. You just need to enable it. Upshifts only though as far as I'm aware. Getting it activated soon on mine! Enjoy the ride!
@@DevRSVR I wouldn't doubt it. Mine is a 2016 so it had the snatchy throttle issue that had to be flashed and cleaned up a bit. I still have to get the module that goes on the shifter linkage to allow it to quick shift. I'll investigate a bit more to see how plug and play it is. I always encourage people to test ride for themselves. Sometimes you find something better, but sometimes you find out what you have is still great. The GSXS takes minor tweaks but it will keep up with most naked liter bikes today.
Bredaxe have u tried the MT10? I rode the SD1290r , tuono v4r Factory, gsx1000-s , this bike and a few others and I went with the '17 MT10 just the slightest bit under the tuono in performance but I paid nearly HALF a tip on Factory for my new MT10 ,..no brainer. But the gsx1000s and the cb1000 were SO lacking in performance compared to the mt10. YOU start to understand why everyone puts the MT10 into Supernaked classification while the other Japanese nakeds are jsut nakeds . Cool bikes but different level. Really hoped worth suzukis success of the gsxr and hondas 1000rr that they'd match yamahas naked R1 but failed miserably. Ugh. If u haven't tried it , Yamaha guy or not , I'd advise giving it a whirl: at least watch lambchop test and 44 teeth /Barron von grumbles. Here's soenthing you'll see In heir tests u won't see at all In Hondas or suzukis ,..wheelies on wheelies on wheelies! It's a supernaked, the others are not. Sadly. How cool would it have been to have Honda do a 1000rr version in a supernaked! The MT10 took the motorcycle life world by storm and won bike of the year all over ; why Honda and Suzuki dropped the ball SOooooo badly is beyond me. Leave the weak performance to the 750's and 900's ,..a naked liter bike based on the supersport should be a super naked boy a slow poor performing bike and the cb1000rand gsx1000s ARE slow by comparison: it's sad. Hando disapointed me as much as Suzuki did.
Guilio Barresi u took the f over an mt-10???? I guess comfort wise it's a good call hit seemed seriously disappointing performance wise to the mt10. The MT10 is the only Japanese supernaked at half the price of a SDR or tuono Factory ,..but very similar performance numbers and even better in some cases. The F was as disappointing to me as the gsx1000s was but comfort wiseni guess it wa better but a liter bike supernaked in not looking for comfort , I'll buy a mt07 if doing that. Lol . Just my 2 cents.
Great vid as always Chops, thanks. Having seen your review and TMF's review, I'm not too sure where this bike is designed to fit in the market with all the competition, but it does look nice.
This is going to be my second bike. I'm a beginner rider. I'm currently riding a Honda Shadow. Learning how to ride. I want to get a sports bike next, and I absolutely love the naked bike look. Plus, I like how you can set different profiles, so, a relatively new rider like myself, I dont end up eating shit on my first ride with the bike. I'll keep my cruiser for my longer rides, and the CB1000R for my short commutes, and occasional rides down the back roads for fun.
My dads an old man who misses sport bike riding. He’s been a die hard Honda fan since his dirt bike racing days long before I was born. Really trying to convince him to pick one of these up. Outright performance isn’t important to him anymore as long as he’s comfortable and it’s fast enough to be fun. He’s my dirt bike riding buddy but I’d love to have him back on the street too.
It looks great, but after watching the gsxs1000 reviews the suzuki although not as teched up is the more faster and more planted of the two. Would you go with cb1000r or Gsxs1000, looking more towards the gsxs at the minute. Cheers chops
These Neo Sports Cafe bikes look spot on! I'm seriously considering getting a CB650R... By the way John, where did you make your custom keychain? That thing looks great, man. I'm looking for a company to make some keychains with my logo, but I'm struggling to find one that does what I want. Cheers.
I own this bike in what mode did u do that 4 th gear test to 60 ? If not in sports mode or users mode set to full throw then wasn't a fair test, just my opinion..great video! Thanks
Marc Davis did u try the MT10? Curious. I tried the tuono Factory, SDR, s1kr, and everything else and went MT10 , got it for HALF the price of the SDR and $4800 less than the s1k and has that crossplane 4 v4 like sound BuT loved the s1k to be fair! Amazing bike!!!! Do u have the magnetic suspension etc? I LOvED that and the heated grips!!!!
We really need a follow up on this AFTER the suspension is setup. I don't like to hear that it's "bouncy" and not great in the twisties. I wonder if it's "light and nimble" as well as "neutral" in the corners, that's what I look for. I love the "easy to fall in" when you're in the twisties. The bike can either be adjusted to work right or it has to be modified. I'm a little tired of bikes that require reworking the suspension when they should have all the quality and adjustments needed to make it work. Having to replace shocks and forks on a new bike usually means you've bought the wrong bike...
I really like the look of these, and it' possibly one of the few bikes I'd consider swapping the Blade for (others being the Diavel, and the SuperDuke). But not sure I'd be disappointed with the excitement levels compared to Blade. Sounds like I'd be mising the Blade pretty quickly....but that Single-Sided swing arm tho!
We have the same jacket bro . Awesome review. I have a busa 11 a blacbird 2000 special edition and a cbr 07. This bike is on the bucket list when i turn 40 (im 32:p) Awesome take me back to my early 20s feelings gonna be. Great channel man . Respect
It's a great looking bike and overall is a very build quality bike, as for the suspension deficiency for sport riding it would not be a problem for me there many suspension upgrade kits from different manufacturers to choose from, Ohlins and HyperPro are my prefered manufacturers, adding a more sportier handlebar from Rizoma, Puig or Renthal and a steering damper will solve all the lacking sport performance from factory set up. Overall is a great machine to have fun with a very unique style to it, just needs a very few affordable upgrades, I would buy one without any doubt.
Nice review. It's looks a lot prettier in your vid than even in the Honda promo stuff. My only very minor dislike of the looks is that horrid grey mock dial glued to the TFT. As for it's character, it's obviously not slow but just seems a bit vanilla & Honda bland to me but I haven't ridden it to be fair. From your reviews the GSXS seems a little more hooligan (fun?) than the Honda?
The 1000 cc fireblade came out in 2005, and it was the same engine used in the 2007. It was updated in 2008 and is still used today (more or less) this bike certainly has the 2005 / 2007 version you can tell by the shape of the engine casings. Yes they have added a cable clutch, the original 2005 had a hydraulic clutch but its based on the same motor.
I took the demo bike out today and I was really disappointed, the gearing is all wrong 6th gear felt like 4th, the quick shifter was ok going down the box but was really snatchy going up unless you short shifted through the gears, I felt the bars were too narrow, I was running in standard mode and the fuelling was just not right, the suspension was awful you felt every bump on the road, i really expected the bike to be much better than it was.
I realize they're a bit different cc and stuff but how would this compare to street triple in mountains and throttle? Keep in mind for both new the cb is about 2500 cheaper
Ok mate I live in florida and I herd you want to ride here in the states. I am taking a month long ride in August. The dragons tail Sturgis crow pow wow grand canyon and lots more I have a 1995 gold wing you can ride I will be on my 1290 gt. Think about it. Once in a life time ride.
My kind of bike, I hate twins, lots of torque and lots of vibration (so called carácter...) I love the smoothness and linear power band of a good double balancer inline 4.
Did Look at this bike but brought the triumph speed triple RS, glad I did that bike loves the twisties, was worried I would get bored with the Honda, the speed felt far more premium when I sat on them back to back. 👍🏻🇬🇧
It’s all a matter of opinion, luckily we can all express one, not taking anything away from the Honda, but before I got the speed I had the Mt09, there’s a massive difference between them, just wanted the triumph more than the Honda, I got a good deal with quickshifter thrown in, and maybe being a Brit in oz felt great buying it. 😉
Nah, do admit I am a girl that likes her triple engines. Have a 2012 Daytona for road and track she runs good, will see how the new engine 2018 goes in the speed. In the 30+ years of riding always had Japanese bikes just wanted a change do have a fireblade to ride still, as long as I can ride I’m happy 😁
Speedtona did u try the MT10? Out accelerates the tripl res, SUoerfuke and Aprilia tuono 0-60 and half the cost, at least here in the Us. LOVE the triple ra tho FYI. 👌👌 I rode me all and couldn't pass up the MT10 st half the cost of the superduke and tuono Factory.
will M have u tried the MT10??? That crossplane 4 is next level!!! I've rode nothing but supersport liter bike all my life and loved the superduke and tuono Factory hit that mt10 crossplane 4 sounding like Rossis MotoGP bike when u decat it is next level! Quickest 0-60 of em all . I love the price of the mt09 but I only paid $9,200 for my new MT10 in the Us , was jsut a hair more Han the 09 but feels much quicker, cwn go wrong with either!!! California is having trouble selling all the mt10's they ordered so worth it to buy out of state and ship it, dealer here wanted $13k plus all the fees Cali dealer wanted $9200 , no dealer fees to set up fees and only $160 to ship it to utah. No brainer.
Not sure how pricing stacks up on your side of the Atlantic, but I don't see why anyone would buy one of these when there are so many other bikes around the same MSRP (GSX-S1K: 13.3k, CB1KR: 15k, MT-10,: 16.2k, S1KR: 15.7k, Tuono RR: 16.2k) It should be priced similarly to the Suzuki, IMO. Lack of fully adjustable rear shock? On a 15 grand bike?? (Canadian) Other than the single sided swing arm, I don't see the point.
The 4th gear test is silly. It really depends on the engine settings. This engine is designed to burst out torque from +6.500 RPM = steep torque curve. With your 4th gear in 20 Mph, you were basically inside a 4-6RPM torque curve drop. Simply put, this engine is designed to be driven sporty from +6.500 RPM or smooth 4.000-6.000 RPM. One has to get used to each bike individually over a longer period of time to master it properly. The final performance is mostly based on the driver ;) since all of the modern bikes are truly powerful and beautiful machines!
Interesting looking bike but I'm even more convinced I wouldn't change my MT10 for one. 70mph in first is sports bike territory, might be more fun going one tooth down on the front sprocket. Cheers and thanks for the review.
Michael Large I know was shocked,..heated grips but no cruise????? That's a random choice. The MT10 changed the Japanese game by adding cruise and supernaked performance ,..thought Honda might add heated grips AFTEr cruise lol jsut sadly disapointed in the cb1000r , was so disapointed in suzukis attemp ,..Yamaha set the bar high with the first Japanese supernaked,. Really thought Suzuki and Honda would follow but seriously disapointed with their horrible performance liter nakeds. I don't get it. U can't buy gsx750 or Yamaha mt07 if u want an efficient comfortable naked,..the flagship naked for a company should be 100% based off its sueprsport brother ,..wh build a gsx1000s with crappy performance compared to the MT10 when u have the gex750s already? The cb is so disapointed. I rode one and had an MT10 and was doooo disapointed i turning around about about 4 miles to take it back I was SO disapointed and NOT confidence inspired!!! !!!!
@Malcolm ReynoldsYeah, of course you have...Funny how the armchair boys mouth about speed the most. Make sure you put on a really loud exhaust so everyone at starbucks can see how 'fast' you go in a straight line.
Haha was going to say the same thing.. the amount of times i heard this too!!😂 you only hear it from the wannabee riders who couldnt even ride a push bike🤣
Malcolm Reynolds Have you ridden the CB1000R and GSXS1000?? just curious, I AM a big old pussy. I went 140 MPH on my 86VFR750 once and decided that was NOT how I wanted to die and haven’t gone past 100 since then, just curious about the speed junky’s opinion about the comparison of those two... thinking about picking up one or the other, any thoughts?
I like it, but it is still feels like a updated cb1000r(a) they changed the looks and added electrical gizmos and they even remade the frame a bit but it is not an entirely new cb1000r.
Pillokun agreed I was really really really hoping Honda would follow yamaha lead, NOT suzukis,...Yamaha built a naked R1 (MT10) the first ever Japanese supernaked with supernaked performance,...Suzuki built a bike that's not much better than their base naked gsx750S ,..such a dispoinment! Was hoping g after at the success of yamahas MT10 at 1/2 the cost of the other superb nakeds was SO thinking Honda wound build a killer supernaked based onthe 1000rr,...was sooooo disapointed when I saw this. Looks kinda cool but retro like the xrs900,..clearly not a tracksble performer. Jsut a disappointment to me personally . Expected more from Honda. Ugh.
LOL, Lamb Chop Flyer first review. Are you copying his format on purpose? Nice first impression vid. Hope some suspension tweaking improves the squidgy handling as it's a nice bike and shouldn't have such limitations. I'd compare the CB1000R to the new Katana myself. Naked 1000cc bike with a strong emphasis on styling. The back end looks very Diavel-esq to me.
First reviews have been around a long time...certainly since before Flyer started vlogging. Now the chug test. That is new ;) Also, Choppsy does seem willing to give his honest opinion even if not ecstatic in every way - you get a real idea of how he feels about the bike in terms that are important to those that ride in a similar fashion to him. Plus he's entertaining to listen to :))
“I would kill myself on one of those.” I ABSOLUTELY hate that saying😠. Great video chops👍🏼. Never been too sure of the CB1000 myself. Interested to hear your thoughts on it.
Yeah I hate it too. Non-riders think riding a motorbike is like riding a bicycle. Which in all honesty.. i'd probably kill myself on. Bicycles are treacherous bastards. I'll stick to my thicc and sticky rear tyres.
Great review lambchop, I rode one fairly recently and was very disappointed comfort wise compared to my mt10. The ride was comfortable and it was a decently fun bike buuuuut performance wise was disappointed. Honestly lambchop as a company with motoGP history I was reallllllly hoping they they would try to compete more with the first ever Japanese supernaked MT10. I also missed the character of the crossplane 4 of the MT10 or the v4 of the aprilia and twin of superduke. The audio track of it is A bit disappointing compared to the engine character and sound of the others. It's cool bi really really hoped Honda would go more agress the than a retro modern. Ugh.
Seriously, V4 (Aprilia's firing order, not the chainsaw VFR's), V-twin, parallel twin with 270 crank or cross-plane I-4 would give this bike so much more character. For some reason i don't think this I-4 sound fits the styling of this bike.
Minion Ninja16 why have a wuickshifter inthis bike tho, clearly not a supernaked ,..seems kids off to put it on a retro bike and leave cruise off it too? Hmmm
@@lingenfelterzeeohhsix8154 I think quickshifters are going to become standard items on bikes in the next couple of years. It's personal choice whether its needed or not

Really enjoyed the review, these actually look great in the flesh even with that number plate holder. Nice bike
Great review, fella, thanks for posting... I have a demo on Sunday versus Ducati's 2019 Hypermotard... I've been on Ducati's twins for around 10 years now so I'm intrigued to see what it's like to get back on an inline 4
Fun reveiw, chug test is a great feature. Enjoyed it, thanks
Thanks for the video
I picked my last week Honda CB1000R
Thumbs up for you too.
Thanks. You always make the best tests/review. :)
Great video mr chops ☺ how does this compare to the speed triple, I own a speed triple and this doesn't quite look as lively?
Good work Mr Chops and I have to say your sound quality seems to have gone up a level too. You can really get a nice sense of the sound and character of the bike coming through. 36 k subs not to be sniffed at but you deserve a lot more. One of the best out there. Cheers
Thanks SolivG, been using an external recorder for the engine sound.
Thought about it...then bought an ‘18 Tuono. Very glad I did...
What about nine T for your dad? Also expensive, but way more character and nice power on bottom
Sounds like it would be great for him TBH! Its a lovely bike and with a few choice mods which I will talk about in the next video would be perfect!
Great review mate! May I ask what helmet you were wearing?
In 1 year and 10 months this will be my ride, updrage from CB500f can't wait!!!
It looks great, but after watching the gsxs1000 reviews the suzuki although not as teched up is the more faster and more planted of the two. Would you go with cb1000r or Gsxs1000, looking more towards the gsxs at the minute. Cheers chops
We are planning next month a direct comparison so stay tuned!
These Neo Sports Cafe bikes look spot on! I'm seriously considering getting a CB650R... By the way John, where did you make your custom keychain? That thing looks great, man. I'm looking for a company to make some keychains with my logo, but I'm struggling to find one that does what I want. Cheers.
Working my way back through your road tests.
Did you ever find out what that light on the righthand side of the instrument panel was for?
I own this bike in what mode did u do that 4 th gear test to 60 ? If not in sports mode or users mode set to full throw then wasn't a fair test, just my opinion..great video! Thanks
Was in user mode Matthew but full power mode
The led light on the clock is a shift light that you can change to your preference.
No centre stand? Worth changing the exhaust to something with a bit more volume. Comparison to the Kawasaki Z1000?
Do you recommend this bike? Found a good deal used 11K miles
Nicely done LC 👍 I test rode this last year and despite being a Honda fan opted for the S1KR - my first Beemer! Put your teeth in next time 13.21 🤣😀
Marc Davis did u try the MT10?
@@lingenfelterzeeohhsix8154 - Didn't try a MT10 as I have a MT01. I have the electronic suspension and HP wheels, it's a very planted ride.
Was that an overtake at 6:00!?
Might have been the 1st I have ever seem on any review lately :-)
We really need a follow up on this AFTER the suspension is setup. I don't like to hear that it's "bouncy" and not great in the twisties. I wonder if it's "light and nimble" as well as "neutral" in the corners, that's what I look for. I love the "easy to fall in" when you're in the twisties. The bike can either be adjusted to work right or it has to be modified. I'm a little tired of bikes that require reworking the suspension when they should have all the quality and adjustments needed to make it work. Having to replace shocks and forks on a new bike usually means you've bought the wrong bike...
Man that exhaust sounds very good
I really like the look of these, and it' possibly one of the few bikes I'd consider swapping the Blade for (others being the Diavel, and the SuperDuke).
Respect
You’re some lucky biking guy eh to have a garage full of cracking machines.
Can I ask what helmet you’re wearing... great review..
I always love to hear your dulcet tones giving us the low down on a new ride :D #Lane
Good review. Is it me or has the RH switchgear come round on the bar a bit??
Thanks Chrispy, No dont think it is has..
Very curious mate what is the name of your helmet I really like it
Hi mate I'm looking at one of these I'm 6ft with a 31 inside leg was it uncomfortable on the knees and back? Thanks!
I almost bought one , I loved it
Shoulda bought it.
You make me happy, LCR forever.
What jacket is that?
Recently got a Dainese Avro 4, looks similar. Love it!
Its the Mugello jacket, it is similar to the Avro
Another top vid chopsy ,like to see again when set up reet 😁👍
I want this to go along side my bmw r nine t it would be a great combo of Japan and German retro bikes
I had the original version of this bike and it was based on a 2007/8 Fireblade engine so I'm not sure where you got 2005 from ?
Chops sir, please get your hands on Svartpillen 701..it's a beautiful bike..
Cheers mate..
I'm not a huge fan of Husqvarna as it is, I really am not a fan of the aesthetics of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701, but that's just my thoughts :)
Yes I would like to try one, will try my best
I realize they're a bit different cc and stuff but how would this compare to street triple in mountains and throttle? Keep in mind for both new the cb is about 2500 cheaper
SO YOU SAYING IS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THE TUONO ?
GREAT VIDEO DUDE .
LCR, What's your one bike that makes you excited?
Lots of bikes get me excited, might be quicker to tell you which ones dont :-) Love supermoto mind
Haven’t seen a Honda I like the look of for many years.
Great review, not too sure about the bike? Fast through bends is a big part of biking for me 😁
Corners absolutely awesome!
Try one!
In behalf of the blipper fanatics.
Thank you!
(Good review Chops 👍👍👍)
Your welcome Chris :-)
Like that Chug Test ; Nice Idea
My kind of bike, I hate twins, lots of torque and lots of vibration (so called carácter...) I love the smoothness and linear power band of a good double balancer inline 4.
Yes lots to be said for Inline 4, super smooth and do sound nice with a pipe screaming :-)
i'd have one.... if not for the tuono, superduke, s1000r, and mt10.
Subbed LCR. Nice bike - balanced review.
is there any difference with the 2018 version?..
Did Look at this bike but brought the triumph speed triple RS, glad I did that bike loves the twisties, was worried I would get bored with the Honda, the speed felt far more premium when I sat on them back to back. 👍🏻🇬🇧
Speed is more premium but the Honda is better quality.
No brainer.
Great review !
Thankyou sir!
Not sure how pricing stacks up on your side of the Atlantic, but I don't see why anyone would buy one of these when there are so many other bikes around the same MSRP (GSX-S1K: 13.3k, CB1KR: 15k, MT-10,: 16.2k, S1KR: 15.7k, Tuono RR: 16.2k)
It should be priced similarly to the Suzuki, IMO.
I’m a bit late to this party but can I say I totally agree with your comment.
I need to know what artist/song playing in the beginning of the video?!! 😁 nice video 😎
Please do follow-up videos on this bike I'm planning on purchasing one
Interesting looking bike but I'm even more convinced I wouldn't change my MT10 for one. 70mph in first is sports bike territory, might be more fun going one tooth down on the front sprocket. Cheers and thanks for the review.
@will M Blimey the MT10 has a massive thirst!!
Do you need to remove the exhaust when taking the wheel off, to change a tire on the single sided swing arm?
If so - could be annoying!
Yes unfortunately you do, same as the Superduke
No, the wheel comes right off.
needs cruise control (all bikes should) and some hidden panier mounts
"I'd kill myself on one of those" ugh, the amount of times I've heard that. The bike will only go as fast as you make it.
@Malcolm Reynolds You would know.
Malcolm Reynolds
Have you ridden the CB1000R and GSXS1000?? just curious, I AM a big old pussy. I went 140 MPH on my 86VFR750 once and decided that was NOT how I wanted to die and haven’t gone past 100 since then, just curious about the speed junky’s opinion about the comparison of those two... thinking about picking up one or the other, any thoughts?
Den Crane our the pussy bitch
Top review LCR
Despite the looks. Ill take gsxs every day same 4 cyl but omg that gixxer sound 🖤
I'm not a fan of single headlight naked bikes (Susuki is the worst) but something about the 1KR just does it for me idk why...
I like it, but it is still feels like a updated cb1000r(a) they changed the looks and added electrical gizmos and they even remade the frame a bit but it is not an entirely new cb1000r.
Agree 😃
Plus he's entertaining to listen to :))
nice intro song chops
Suspension on the cb1000r can easily be adjusted. Like most UJMs it's set for a 140lbs Asian rider. You like well over 100kg+..
Got one. Love it. Will never sell it.
Ugh.
I do agree with you on all points.
Just been watching how to do mod 1 and 2. Need to bloody do it I'm 48 me wanna bigger bike, been thinking either 1000 or 650 model
Says a lot about the Zx6r when it out chuggs a 1000cc motor, that Kwaka must be a real pocket rocket!
Seriously, V4 (Aprilia's firing order, not the chainsaw VFR's), V-twin, parallel twin with 270 crank or cross-plane I-4 would give this bike so much more character. For some reason i don't think this I-4 sound fits the styling of this bike.
Sounds just fine to me. Quiet enough around the neighborhood, and a nice snarl at higher RPM's.
If Honda ever makes that type of bike with a stonkin' V4...
Stiffin up The shocks and drop a -1 + 1 or 2 sprocket combo and she would really light up i bet
Yes agreed!!
Beautiful Bike nice 👍🏽 review
What gloves are those lambchop? Im 6/2 like you and my longer length ;) exposes a bit too much skin... On the wrists
They are Dainese "Touring" winter gloves, I think thats what they are called.. Expensive but warm without being too thick
nice video man...
The comfort bias may be the reason I get one, my 2013 CB isn't comfy for long rides
Good review, even on footage quick shifter seems a bit jerky. Looks a pleasant bike though
