    👉Trogir is a town and municipality located in Split-Dalmatia County, on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, charming streets, and beautiful beaches. The town is home to a number of historical and cultural landmarks, including the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, which dates back to the 13th century, and the Kamerlengo Castle, which was built in the 15th century. Trogir is also known for its Mediterranean cuisine and local olive oils. The town is easily accessible by car, train, or plane, and makes for a great destination for a holiday or day trip.
    Trogir is a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia.
    Trogir has a population of 10,923 (2011) and a total municipal population of 13,192 (2011). The historic city of Trogir is situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island of Čiovo. It lies 27 kilometres (17 miles) west of the city of Split.
    👉Since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites for its Venetian architecture.
    👉Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic, but in all of Central Europe. Trogir's medieval core, surrounded by walls, comprises a preserved castle and tower and a series of dwellings and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Trogir's grandest building is the church of St. Lawrence, whose main west portal is a masterpiece by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.
    👉The most important sites include:
    - Historical city core, with about 10 churches and numerous buildings from the 13th century
    - The city gate (17th century) and city walls (15th century)
    - The Fortress Kamerlengo (15th century)
    - The Duke's Palace (13th century)
    - The Cathedral (13th century) with the Portal of Master Radovan, the unique work of this Dalmatian artist
    - The big and small palaces Cipiko from the 15th century
    - The city loggia from 15th century

      Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately I can't offer an answer regarding bus timing - I never used bus here. It should take less than 1 hour in my opinion.

    Veramente una bella passeggiata, ho vissuto 14 anni in Trogir e sono andato via 24 anni fa, però per me più bella città del mondo.🤗

    Hoe ver lopen is het van Trogir naar het strand daar? Ga aankomende weekend erheen.

      Het strand vlakbij het Unesco-terrein / het oude Trogir ligt op 200 - 300 meter afstand. Het strand van Copacabana op Ciovo ligt op 2-3 km van de oude stad.
