I lived and worked in China for 10 years,Shenzhen,Guangzhou,Dongguan,Hohhot,Dalian etc etc...As a white Englishman I truly did feel racial tension aimed at me on various occasions,however for the most part i'd say 90% of the Chinese people were fine.

How is it racist when someone is trying to portray another race? It is a fact some Indians wear turban, it is a fact there are dark-skin indians, as well as fair-skin indians as portrayed by the ladies, the costumes are culturally correct.
