This! This!! I dig the pattern! It is so Patriotic in design! I must make this! Thank you so much for giving us options on the tools we can use. I have them all. I know this video is a few years ago, but your videos are so awesome they are timeless!! 🎉❤
Hi Sam... Hope u r doin fine.. Lot of people making such abstract geometrical design. But ur is different it tells alot bout ur personality. Symbol of love in infinite way.. It also shows tht X factor u have.. And a symmetrical beaty u r... Loved it.. I also tried. . Plz I wanna show u..
Hi Sam. Always enjoy seeing one of your videos available. You have to have probably the cleanest pretty shop I have ever seen. I noticed the basket holding scraps in one of your past videos. Great job. Thanks for sharing
Wow, that's an amazing job. Thanks for sharing this layering burning technique. I've never seen that before. (maybe it was shown in some videos by other people but they did not tell it that way). Happy Easter!
Love this! I’m a beginner in wood working, and this is a dumb question, but is it possible to just use a hand saw? I don’t have a miter saw, but I really want to try this project.
Thank you for this video I have seen a few of these on Instagram and wondered how they were done as I want to have a go. A question what is the thickness of the plywood backing sheet you have used. 😀👍
Is it ok to use pressure treated? The wood lath bundles near me, all day they’re pressure treated. I’ve always avoided them for that reason, but I struggle to find thin pieces like that!!
DIY Huntress thanks for the reply!! Where did you get yours? Were they precut? I’m hoping if it’s at Lowe’s or Home Depot I may be able to find one that’s in a nearby city that sells them like that.
I wouldn’t suggest it for two reasons. First being that you’ll want something substantial to nail the wood board into... and also because you want the plywood to stay as straight as possible over time, and 1/4” ply tends to curl. Hope this makes sense!
Amazing geometric wall art ! Absolutely love it. Your videos give me DIY fever :)) I would love to do something similar, but I have never done a project like this before and I don't have a nail gun. What would happen if I only used wood glue? (If it's a very stupid question, forgive me, I have never worked with wood before :))
Thank you! Not stupid! You can use wood glue, but I’d recommend putting something heavy over the pieces or clamping them down after you glue. That way, it forces a bond between the glue and the two pieces of wood. Wood glue is really strong if applied the right way.
That is a beautiful piece of art. However, acknowledging that you may decorate your space how you see fit... having the art centered on the wall and not centered over the bed would drive me crazy with my OCD. There is no way I could ever relax in that room. But I do love the piece itself. Great job.
Loving this burnt wood wall art!!

Thank you so much! I try to keep it as clean as I can! I also like turning trash into shop storage (like that basket)... because, why not! 😊
I'm obsessed! What grit sandpaper for in-between torching?
That thing looks fantastic! Love the different colors you were able to achieve just from burning the wood.
Thanks so much, Bruce!
We are proud "Dorks" too and enjoyed this build. Very creative. nice job as always.

Hi! Not dumb! You can - a hand saw and a miter box would work! It will take longer, but totally!
DIY Huntress Thanks so much! This helped a lot!
Another amazing tutorial!! Love this project ❤️
Thank you, Patti! 💕
Wow! Do you put any kind of finish on your pieces?
Not my art, usually.... but, furniture and usable pieces. Yes!
DIY Huntress ok cool, thanks for the reply!
Perfect!
😍😍😍
Awesome!!
Thank you! 💕
Turned out amazing! Great work 👍. Any recommendations on what grit sandpaper to use?
Thank you! I had some 220 Laing around, so that’s what I used for the project! 😊
Hell yeah! I am so going to make this! Hope you don't mind me copying this to the letter!
Yess! That’s why I share these projects, to inspire people to try them! Hope you’ll share with me when you’re done!
Great job in gonna try those boards seeing that are dirt cheap.
They’re legit my board of choice everytime I make one of these! I love working with them.
@@diyhuntressmakes sense Merry Christmas.

For sure - thank you for watching! I used 3/4” plywood for mine! 😊

+M W I have for projects in the past, but my best advice is to wear a respirator and goggles to stay safe from the fumes. Hope this helps!

I was thinking about building a bar and this top would be perfect...do you mind if I steal it??
Ahh!! Go for it - hope you’ll share when it’s done!
Can we switch 1/2 inch plywood with 1/4 inch one, 1/2 looks heavy

Looks fucking amazing. Great job man
Ahah - thank you!
Are there any companies that sell this type of wood wall art?
I believe you can find similar ones on Etsy!
attention to the corners !!!

What's the size of this art?
pls fix your website the pages for post are coming up blank for me :(
My website seems to be working okay! What browser are you using?
Can I send you money to make one for me PLEASE??? I love this
Ok, you win. I'll go buy more propane...
Mission accomplished. 😉
Don’t go to your hairdresser and ask her for an ombré with fire 🔥.
You mean, this isn’t how they do it at the salon? 💁🏻♀️
DIY Huntress not even close. My girl is a hairdresser and she always tells me about balayages and ombrés. Ones a process the other is a style.
Hahaha. I gotcha! I’m just messing - no fire near this head. 🙅🏻♀️ I do rely on the professionals to fix me up though. I’m a hot mess. 😂
