    Hi Sam. Always enjoy seeing one of your videos available. You have to have probably the cleanest pretty shop I have ever seen. I noticed the basket holding scraps in one of your past videos. Great job. Thanks for sharing

    Thank you for this video I have seen a few of these on Instagram and wondered how they were done as I want to have a go. A question what is the thickness of the plywood backing sheet you have used. 😀👍

    Is it ok to use pressure treated? The wood lath bundles near me, all day they’re pressure treated. I’ve always avoided them for that reason, but I struggle to find thin pieces like that!!

      DIY Huntress thanks for the reply!! Where did you get yours? Were they precut? I’m hoping if it’s at Lowe’s or Home Depot I may be able to find one that’s in a nearby city that sells them like that.

    Can we switch 1/2 inch plywood with 1/4 inch one, 1/2 looks heavy

    • @diyhuntress
      @diyhuntress  4 года назад

      I wouldn’t suggest it for two reasons. First being that you’ll want something substantial to nail the wood board into... and also because you want the plywood to stay as straight as possible over time, and 1/4” ply tends to curl. Hope this makes sense!

    Amazing geometric wall art ! Absolutely love it. Your videos give me DIY fever :)) I would love to do something similar, but I have never done a project like this before and I don't have a nail gun. What would happen if I only used wood glue? (If it's a very stupid question, forgive me, I have never worked with wood before :))

    • @diyhuntress
      @diyhuntress  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! Not stupid! You can use wood glue, but I’d recommend putting something heavy over the pieces or clamping them down after you glue. That way, it forces a bond between the glue and the two pieces of wood. Wood glue is really strong if applied the right way.

    That is a beautiful piece of art. However, acknowledging that you may decorate your space how you see fit... having the art centered on the wall and not centered over the bed would drive me crazy with my OCD. There is no way I could ever relax in that room. But I do love the piece itself. Great job.
