I remember watching this in 2011 and man is this nostalgic. I remember coming home from school and I'd go straight to my iPod touch and watch Stephen's latest vlog. This brings back memories...
@NintendoWizardHD Emile uses a high-end HP while traveling, but has a custom-built desktop while at home. He's a Windows user, but I think I left a good impression on him while he was here for Mac OS X.
@TheBareEpicness I've been editing videos since I was 12-I started with Pinnacle Studio, moved to Sony Vegas, then Adobe Premiere Pro, then Final Cut Pro. I also learned Avid in college and own it, but I prefer to work on Final Cut. The Final Cut you would buy is way different from the one I own-I have FCP7, and they only sell FCPX now. It's the newest version and is way cheaper than previous versions. I'd highly recommend moving up to it if you're really passionate about editing.
We went to Georgia and stopped at an ice cream shop. The best part was that the entrance was up some stairs and right bang in the middle of the staircase was a light post. I told my brother to stop and look, he didn't get it at first until I said 3:54 Than we all laughed and He did what Emile did and we took a family photo surrounding the light post. It was funny.
@AndersonCrush We did indeed. "Zombie Apocalypse" and "Castle Crashers" are on the StephenPlays channel, check under the "Demo Fridays" playlist. The last one we did was "Guardian Heroes", which can be found on TheGameStation's channel under the "Network Spotlight" playlist.
Search "Atlanta Bread Company South Carolina" on Google Maps and look for the Sunset Ct. location. In-between the two buildings is the famous stairs. xD
@@Yuuki_Watage June 2019 update: This Atlanta Bread Company location has been permanently closed, and with it seems to have gone the stairs surrounding the light post. :(
Man... I think this was the day my dad bought me Return to Dream Land after months of waiting for it to come out. It was one of the first games I can remember actively being hyped for thanks to Nintendo Power. I could barely contain my excitement when I finally got home and popped it into my Wii. I remember playing up to the 4th world before even taking a break to eat. This game gave me comfort in a very dark time in my life, and it's nice to know that Stephen, Mal, and Emile were playing it at the same moment I was!
@gokasey5 Your best bet for meeting him would be at a convention like PAX or Magfest. He often will spend time with fans during those types of meet-ups.
@LoboRaptorLo You do indeed! StephenVlog viewers frequently send us mail/packages, and one of the things they include are signed cards (baseball, playing, trading, etc). One of the popular things to send is your "favorite" card, so people sign things like Lightning Bolt, etc. My wife and I are also big MTG players (I even have a Magic LP going on right now at my LP channel, StephenPlays).
@SuperNess1000 Kirby 64 is one of my favorites as well (the "combining 2 powers" feature was and still is awesome). I wouldn't say this feels much like it, though. It does in the sense that it's a Kirby game (and nearly every Kirby game is practically identical), but it feels more like Super Star than 64, personally.
Crazy watching this seeing both how much socially Emile developed and seeing home like return to dream land was the new Nintendo came. Absolutely Wild how fast time flies
@pokemonchampion500 I met Emile nearly seven years ago on a website called Starmen (I later met my wife from there). This was long before he was doing LPs. We stayed in contact and remained friends, so when I met him it was like getting to hang out with a friend-I don't view him as a celebrity, I guess because I've known him for such a long time and we talk regularly.
@Gamefan90 Waddle Dee doesn't need a spear-he is a spear. You can also replace "Chuck Norris" with "Waddle Dee" in any Chuck Norris meme and it still works.
I love at the start of the video how Stephen and Emile show us how hard it really is to be a major person on RUclips. It is because of us, the people who comment on videoes and upload absolutely NOTHING, that that is what they do.. to please people they don't even know!
7:04 non-mother fans would be like, "WHAT??? WHY YOU TALKING ABOUT YO MOMMAS??? you guys are weird..." Me: It's Mother.... NOT mother!!!!!!!!! OR EARTHBOUND WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OOOOH, I know who you are now, I heard your voice and it sounded familiar but now I remeber! You were the voice of Ness on FAB, Thats so awsome man! Congratulations on everything!
I'm actually thinking of going on a Pokémon Go safari at some point to see how many Pokémon I can get and if I manage to do something really good for it I may even get a chance to get a Pokémon evolution out of it, too.
Your kidding me, you went to Baryard FleaMarket. I live SOOOOOO close to that flea market. You were that close to me the entire time! DARNIT I should have gone that day!!!!!!!
@HiLeonardo I've just been really tired all the time lately. Teaching is difficult, especially when you have students like I do. I normally come home and sleep for an hour and I spend weekends trying to catch up on sleep and chill out - to get myself ready for another difficult week.
Emilie's reaction to Stephen asking, "Who's excited!?" = the face of finding a shiny Koffing. ^_^
I remember watching this in 2011 and man is this nostalgic. I remember coming home from school and I'd go straight to my iPod touch and watch Stephen's latest vlog. This brings back memories...
Oh. That's about all I wear too. Striped polo shirts. I have something in common with my favourite LP'er
4:50 and thus, a meme was born
Nerdy Gamer Just the comment I was looking for!
@WolfLind58 Possibly, but probably not this year, just because we've got so much lined up already.
@Kidlink77 I'm fairly certain it was a Hewlett Packard. You'd have to ask him about the model, etc.
@blastoisemetapod Nope, not personally. I've spoken to him once in a TGS meeting, but that was about it.
@Gamer19975 1) Mostly, yes. 2) Emile has it. At the time, I didn't have a PS3, so it didn't do me any good.
@nharee She was for a while! Since August 2011 we've been married.

Who's here after watching the "I'm waddle dee" memorable moment on stephenplays??
Years later, and every video of Stephen and Emile being best friends makes me happy
@android16B No, the only reason Chugga was on the vlog was because we've been friends for a long time. I've never even heard of antdude.
@greenday61892 Yeah, they're practically the same place.
I found the design fail on Google Maps, and it's still there.
Link?

Rip to that light post that someone was paid to built in that area.

Haha lol
+Yoshifan49 Lol I got a screenshot of an edited-in "Excited Emile" from the Hustlin' PAX video. xD

@gokasey5 Your best bet for meeting him would be at a convention like PAX or Magfest. He often will spend time with fans during those types of meet-ups.
@TheBareEpicness I edit my videos with Final Cut Pro, and Emile uses Sony Vegas.
He's about 6''.
@ThunderByrdPROD I'm 6'6" (about 198cm).
@JestermanX Yep, they're pretty similar places.
That was Emile's copy, actually!
@LoboRaptorLo You do indeed! StephenVlog viewers frequently send us mail/packages, and one of the things they include are signed cards (baseball, playing, trading, etc). 3:50 WHO PUTS A LIGHT POST THERE
Based on how the wood looked, the stairs were newly built, too.
Design Failure: Lamp post in stairs
you o
you only had one job
I like how Emile willingly walks into it
Well you see... *ahem*... I'M WADDLE DEE!
@SuperNess1000 Kirby 64 is one of my favorites as well (the "combining 2 powers" feature was and still is awesome). I wouldn't say this feels much like it, though. I don't know the model, but I'm fairly sure it was an HP of some kind. I believe he's bought a new laptop since then, though.
@54rocx24 No, it's Columbia, SC.
@pokemama0 We're just friends from way back, and he wanted to visit.
@iggyman783 We get an inch every few years, if that counts.
@SuperDrykan Emile was on the vlog again on Days 808 and 809, actually!
Crazy watching this seeing both how much socially Emile developed and seeing home like return to dream land was the new Nintendo came. Absolutely Wild how fast time flies
"We noticed design fail." +
*Camera shows the fail*+=Emile walks into it & i laughed so my stomach hurts!
3:52 chuggaa mysteriously disappears
03:50 I think I would've hit myself there like how Emile did if I was texting over there.
Kirby’s Dreamland Deluxe brought me back to this
rewatching this so memorable, i watched this as a very young kid and i remember almost every detail still
@JzillaMerida Haha, no, Mallory is my wife :P
@JUMBOJIBDYJOB There were a fair share of puns while he was here, yes, haha
@danny66442200 I won't discount your comment-I am a bit weird-but that was indeed a reference to Elton John.
4:47 Who's Excited
@iwss13 Emile edits with Sony Vegas.
im not gonna lie stephen i love when you guys go to flea markets

@TheGamingGoron A hack and slash action game for xbox 360 and PS3.
@jeffhardyvsme Haha, I'm 6'6" (198cm), so not many people get further than that :P
When Emile said "Kirby" I briefly forgot Kirby was a game and was very confused about why Emile's cat was there :D
the way you say "potato" is hilarious!
Emile's excited face is the new awesome face XD
That's Chuggaaconroy's face when he found the Phanpy in Pokemon Crystal! XD
Chugga suddenly vanished from the physical realm at 3:53 but soon returned
@VHappy273736 I'm 6'6.
*buffering* muurrr *refresh and 5 seconds later...* STOP! BUFFERING!
@POKEMONADVANCBATTLE2 No, I don't think I'd ever purposely try to get a copy of that game :X
And now half a year later, The Runaway Guys LP Kirby: Return to Dreamland :D
Also, Chugga sipping on a juice box = SO CUTE
Waddle dee can hop on air. He is fearless.
Actually, he's over 5'10". Stephen is actually like 6'7"
This was 3 years ago... MAN!

TheRedDrapion That was 3 years ago... MAN!
this reminds me so much of the runaway guy's lets play of kirby's return to dreamland
about half a year later, TRG LP of Kirby. Wow.
@benmajor08 Mal did an awesome job. Solid 7.
Kirby sure is jealous about Waddle Dee's special attack, but he can't do it because he ISN'T WADDLE DEEEE!
when cooking those veggies what did you drizzle over them? and what was wrapped over them? i want to make those.
You are soo lucky you get to meet Emile and Tim.
3:04 literally me
7:04 non-mother fans would be like, "WHAT??? WHY YOU TALKING ABOUT YO MOMMAS??? you guys are weird..."
Me: It's Mother.... NOT mother!!!!!!!!! OR EARTHBOUND WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just realized that watching the vlog alone makes me hungry-even if there's no food. This is somewhat scary.
Laughed so hard at the "design fail"!!
I found a worse design fail it was a fence and the only entrance is to go around a pole that took up ALL of the space on the entrance
4:50 I imagine that to be Emile's face when he found the shiny Kaufing in Crystal.
Waddle Dee: Tralalalalalalalalalalala!
Kirby: You know they're recording us, right?
Waddle Dee: Oh, (looks at screen) HI! I'M WADDLE DEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2:50 He looked back at Mal!!! XD
StickyBomber "The guy also sold...um...condoms. So, uh.........*looks at Mal*"
Mal was saying something, so he turned around to hear her. Thats why he turned around. But let your imagination take over 😆
@billyjay It was a mccormick's 'bag n' season' for chicken. I don't remember the exact one though.
Chuggaa's excited face had a penguin on it.
Also, SPEED-RUNNING TACTICS!
lol Kirby Return to Dreamland, the LP The Runaway Guys are doing now.
OOOOH, I know who you are now, I heard your voice and it sounded familiar but now I remeber! You were the voice of Ness on FAB, Thats so awsome man! Congratulations on everything!

I love being Waddle Dee.

"How I do lightpost?" *Emile bonks head* xD
