@HeadlightRevolution can you guys try the boslla led 9012 140W 70 w for each bulb low b and high b,and can make the difference between gtr, morimoto or boslla and let us know if they work or no
Hi, Just tried to order the kit, but it shows extra $7.50 for 1 only wire harness 12" extension. You state in video, it is included? Also shouldn't it include 2 each 12" wiring extensions, one for each side?
When clicking on the lick there are so many options. How do I choose the right one? Are they all street legal? Why wouldn't I just choose the brightest one?
The first link will show everything we offer that fits your truck, while the second link leads directly to the HID kit we tested and recommend in the video. We offer a range of options, from full headlight replacements to simple bulb upgrades. It’s important to note that if your truck has OEM halogen headlights, upgrading to HID or LED bulbs is not considered street legal in the USA. If you’re looking for a DOT-approved option, we recommend the XB LED Headlights.
5500K color as in a 6000k bulb that drops to 5500k with 55w ballast? if i get this kit do i get the color temp i pick with a 55w ballast or do i have to account for the color temp drop with the bigger ballast?
At minute 1:10, you state this is a 55W, 5500K bulb. You don't even sell that bulb? So how are we supposed to buy it from you? When trying to order, you only have 5000K or 6000K! Which one will be brighter?

How do these bulbs work with the daytime running lights? The stock bulb is the dlr lights running at a reduced brightness. Will it work the same with the hid bulbs?
Just installed my HID kit on a 2015 gmc Sierra 2500hd and they did not come on at all , I already switched the polarity connection and nothing came on...
Will these melt the stock lenses? I have a 2015 gmc 2500hd and have the all on module (high and low beam both on w hi beams). Just wanted to make sure before I order
Those are good kits! They have a 5 year warranty and we've heard good things about them. We do offer a GTR Lighting HID kit with a lifetime warranty that you might be interested in too though. Email us at Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com if you'd like info on it!
RIP the halogen projectors. A 55w HID will cook the stock projector really fast. I believe that you are planning to sell this guy one of your XB LED headlight assemblies in about a month. 😀
I had HID set (Morimoto 6500k bulbs and 35w ballasts) on my Mazda 3 projectors for 5 years. No problem at all. Recently, I changed them with the new LED GTR Ultra 2, now they are super bright and keep the beam pattern as well.
well done 👍. I have a request from you guys , I have a Hyundai Tucson 2018 and there is a couple issues in head lights (low and high) , so please help me to find the best bulbs that fite in my car . (LED , or HID) Best wishes 🌹♥️
As soon as we can get our hands on those headlights, we will get that test video out to you! They are set to come in from Morimoto sometime beginning of 2021!👍
Hi there, how do these match up the morimoto elite HID kit? I have a 2014 Sierra with upgraded projectors and been running the morimoto kit for about 3 years. I’m getting ready to purchase another set and looking for recommendations. Thanks
The link was broken due to the changes in lighting regulations, and this caused LED and HID to not be street legal anymore. We can still get you this kit for offroad use, and if you would like to get that going just shoot us an email! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
They can be, or they can be different colors depending on what color temperature you select! Almost all LED bulbs out there are going to be right around that 5500-6000 Kelvin range! Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help! Have a great day!
I am sorry to say that we do not have that kit on the website, as they are no longer legal for street use. You could totally get them for offroad use though, but they are no longer a kit so you will have to add these as separate pieces. You will need the HID kit itself linked here: headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-55w-gen-5-pwm-canbus-single-beam-hid-conversion-kit/ The relay harness linked here: headlightrevolution.com/morimoto-hid-relay-harness-9012/ The Anti-Flicker Capacitor linked here: headlightrevolution.com/morimoto-anti-flicker-capacitor-link/ And finally the 9006 extension cord linked right here: headlightrevolution.com/morimoto-9006-extension-cords/ All together those will make the 9012 HID kit for our Sierra, and if you have any further questions you can shoot us an email! This HID kit has an expected lifespan of 3000 hours. They are also covered by a lifetime warranty which will cover any failures after that amount of time.
@@HeadlightRevolution Sounds confusing. You say lifespan of 3,000 hours and lifetime warranty for failures "after that amount of time". So, are you saying the lifespan doesn't matter? I'm asking because for those of us with DRL integration (I.e., same bulb), a lifespan of 3,000 hours isn't nearly long enough for commuters. Can you clarify?
They come with a lifetime warranty, that will be the main thing to take into account. Once you have purchased these lights, you will never have to buy another set of lights ever again! They are also insanely bright, you will be looking at roughly 4 times your factory light output, so it will be a night and day difference! Let us know if you have any other questions, have a great day!
A joke that GM and the engineers who designed that lame headlight system have forced customers to spend money after the fact to secure safety for themselves and others on the road.
I installed this kit... would recommend 100%. Wasn’t all that hard after watching the video and I’m very impressed with the light output.
I just installed my new GTR lighting HID kit. Super easy with this tutorial video!! Thanks for this video it helped a Lott!!!!!
Are you trying led before?
Glad it helped!

How bout colour temperature matching fogs?
You can do that for sure!

Always have to account for color temp change if you go with the 55W kit versus the 35W kit.

Everytime i tried to install HID in my sierra, never works.
You need an HR Tested HID Kit then!
Is it really important to have them clocked at 9&3?
For HID bulbs, it is not as important. For HIDs, its most important they are installed correctly and are sitting in the housing snuggly.
How do these bulbs work with the daytime running lights? The stock bulb is the dlr lights running at a reduced brightness. Will it work the same with the hid bulbs?
These will run at full intensity at all times.
