They both play in the SPFL. Watch as I get inside one of the stadiums and even score a goal!

Could be my favourite ever vlog this one. More coming soon! Where am I going next?
Please go to Inverness and Ross county
@@harryince4233 I will be doing them before the end of the year mate!
Queen of the south and Stranraer. The derby that is 75 miles apart.
@@rezhead yep! Soon!
Good vlog. Great wee club.
Nice of Arbroath to let you in the ground for a look round. It costs nothing but that kind of hospitality does a lot for their reputation as a welcoming club.
Yeah and I was able to see it on such a nice night too!
Lovely wee club, Arbroath. Always had a soft spot for them
So nice!
Yes... Bar the wind when it whips off the North Sea
All alone on the pitch at Arbroath with a killer sunset in the background over the sea! Beautiful video.
Hello! Glad to see a video about my home town arbroath! I play for one of the youth teams in arbroath and played in a local Derby on that pitch you visited! Glad you enjoyed your visit, its lucky you came on such a beautiful day with no rain!
I'm also a ball boy for all the matches played there!
Great! Glad you enjoyed! Lucky you, what a pitch!
Absolutely brilliant. Favorite channel by a mile. With so much superficial nonsense in the game these days just loving that yer shining a light on some of these clubs.
Legend! Thanks so much!
Enjoyed ur blogs. 45 years since been up ther
Glad you like them! Thank you
Nice one! Arbroath are the Red Lichties, and so Gayfield Stadium is also known as the Stadium of Licht.
When I visited Forfar's ground I loved the way that the seats in the stand had the name of the person that it belonged to printed on it - I guess they are the season ticket holders- great club and friendly staff
Nice! Yeah a quality club.
My name is on one of them B44
What a beautiful part of Britain - what a great life you have. Congrats.
I try regularly get to Arbroath game when st Johnstone are playing away and I saw Murray Davidson yesterday he is one of the st Johnstone players
Visited Forfar and Arbroath recently myself. Lovely towns 👍
Yes they are!
Absolutely amazing Footy Adventures 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻 Loved the video and have been sharing and downloaded the one football app, Chuffed you got shown around our amazing wee stadium and got a free gift, Our chairman Mike Caird is superb, a really great guy who does all he can for the club and fans, You definitely need to get back for a game ⚽️
Awesome thank you! Legend!
@@FootyAdventures Its time to come and see the mighty Red Lichties 🇱🇻⚽️🙌 We are still in the Championship and really flying so far this season being the only part time club in the league.
The best vlog yet. 👏👏 would love to watch a game in Arbroath when fans are allowed back in!
Away day with us three down at arbroath!
Great to see you at Forfar. When I was 10 I chose them as my Scottish side to follow (at the time they were bottom of the Scottish League) and have kept in touch ever since.
As a Forfarian this is lovely yet surprising to hear.
Arbroath looks pretty wild. It's great that they have SOME cover at all four ends of the ground. Their stands give the ground a nice balance, too, not to mention the sea!
Yeah would love to see a game there!!!
I hope your still following Arbroath FC! Top of the league, Arbroath is a part time team, players are part time and all the players have full time jobs! Chance of promotion to SPL, really exciting for a wee toon! Mon the lichties!
So many youtube vloggers just put it on for their subscribers and so refreshing seeing genuine joy. Will download app
Legend, thanks so much!
Loved these 2 stadiums great locations and full of character.
Absolutely! Thanks!
Yes my co-football analyst I vividly told my friend at abadeen that the game gana be draw .even Croton is also a draw game and this week I will come with another key draw game to play good luck,.
Always loved my trips to Arbroath both on holiday (Red Lion Caravan site) and watching the mighty Alloa Athletic. However, the amount of times when the keepers kick the ball up the pitch only to watch the wind come in from the North Sea and take it flying into the main stand will go with me to my grave. Lots of enjoyment and laughter. Keep up the great work and hopefully get to see you actually attend some games in the future.
Back in the 80's me and my mates visited every Scottish league club still got the memrobilia from each club lol
Nice! Anything from Arbroath?
Fair play to Arbroath for letting you into the ground...and the hat and scarf. I think its good that you do the history of the towns as well as the club themselves. 👍
You're perspective and approach to football is something I have been looking for. After watching this, I am following Arbroath. Any club out there would benefit from your visit, well done mate
Nice thanks so much mate, really appreciate the kind words!
Really enjoying your videos. I've always had a fascination for lower division clubs (I have a season ticket at Cheltenham Town). I've always tried to visit Scottish grounds, and see games, whenever possible. On a memorable day in the mid 90s, I saw the 1st half of East Stirling v Albion Rovers and the 2nd half of Stenhousmuir v Stirling Albion! It's so sad that Firs Park has gone. Like you, I love the Angus grounds, especially Glebe Park. Along with Starks Park, it surely ranks among the most quirky grounds north of the border. Keep up the good work.
Arbroath is my home town. We used to sneak into the ground as kids, and score goals just like that, until chased off by a groundsman. Played at Gayfield properly as a kid too in the Watters Cup, which is an inter-school competition for primary school teams. The final is always played at Gayfield.
BTW, it's pronounced ForfUR not ForfAR. It's why the "East Fife Five For Far Four" is so amusing.
Great to see hospitality like that !
It really is!
Fantastic mate. I love Arbroath, I love your enthusiasm. Keep up the great work ❤️
Haha! Nice one getting East Fife 5 Forfar 4 in there. pissed myself laughing when you said it
Haha it's a classic!
@@FootyAdventures you'll have to make sure you have a wee walk round fittie (Footdee) in aberdeen when you go up there. Nice we area where the fishermen used to live where the river dee enters the sea near pittodrie.
Except it was Forfar 5, East Fife 4 and it happened twice!
Very nice interesting video! Loved the scenery, the sights, the facts about the clubs and the fact they're by the sea makes them look even nicer particularly on a nice sunny evening like then!
Many a cold Tuesday night standing on them terracing with the wind blowing right up yer kilt. The bridies were the only thing to keep the cold out, along with a wee dram. Support your local team and go and watch them.
I prefer lower league teams to Premier teams. Bridie and a pint and you can actually swear at the players and they hear you, when they are playing bad.
Bridie and a pint sounds like heaven!
@@FootyAdventures you should also try a smokie when your at Arbroath.
I needed managing Arbroath FC in my journeyman save in FM21. Slowly trying to take them to the Premier league
Nice good luck!
You need to get a Scottish twang.
The baker looked puzzled at first.
Watch the sea spray on the windy days at arbroath.
It's a pity Dick Campbell wasn't going about he'd loved all this.
What a class act from the chairman
Watched a few of your videos now, give the clubs a bit of notice before hand you might get inside a few more, it can only benefit the clubs all your videos I’ve seen promote all the good things about each club and there history 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi mate! Thanks for watching my videos. I reach out to most clubs but the majority of the time they aren't able to let me in. Good on arbroath for doing so!
Such a great channel Sam, your coverage of Irish and Scottish football really makes a difference. You're doing a better job promoting the game than the FAs are.
Absolutely brilliant video . And what a ground , not a huge stadium but terraces , the sea Arbroath is a beautiful ground .
Cheers!
Wow!!! What a day, sometimes you get lucky with the grounds and you hit the jackpot! Awesome goal man haha, so good you got on the pitch!
Thanks 👍
Great video as bought back memories of my honeymoon as got married in Gretna and we travelled around Scotland and visited most of the stadiums...
Nice! Glad it brought back some memories. I've still gotta visit Gretna!
@@FootyAdventures we managed to do Carlisle, Gretna, Annan, QofS, Stranraer & Ayr in a day
Youre in my home area. My family are from Carnoustie. I love Angus. Recommend a drive to Glen Clova.
Next time get some harbour fish and chips in Arbroath, delicious.
Greetings from Mexico
Arbroath is a great family club. Growing up if I didnt follow Dundee United away id go to see the lichties instead
Hola! Thanks again for watching, glad I could go to your area!
Great video ... AGAIN.
Love the genuine passion you have for the old traditional Scottish grounds.
Many thanks! Loving the grounds at the moment. Got inside more today. New video in the morning!
@@FootyAdventures If you are in the area of East Kilbride you should pop into EKFC of the Lowland League. A very young club with huge ambition and potential. They almost made it through the pyramid play off a few years back into League 2. My brother is match day secretary at the club. I’ll have a word if you are interested?
@@markhickey3647 that would be amazing! I'm most easily contacted through my Insta DMs if you can arrange! Thank you!
Brilliant video Sam...great to see these scottish clubs...great work Buddy 👍 👍👍👍
Thanks as ever mate!
Wow men. What a beautiful place. Thats so crazy that you got to feel the pitch and play with the ball. Awsome man.
On the same day Arbroath beat Bon Accord, Dundee Harp beat Aberdeen Rovers 35-0 ( it is beleived that the referee had recorded 37 goals, but Harp’s secretary suggested a miscount must have occurred as he had recorded only 35).
These videos are awesome truly missing my trips to watch my two queens teams hopefully get there again ASAP the grounds are brilliant enjoying them long they may continue
Congrats on reaching 10k subs. Great video keep em coming mate. :-)
Cheers Paul, will do
Class videos mate, as a Clyde fan, it is great getting to see more around the outside of the stadium and the history of the club, even though I have parked right outside the main entrance before
I love the Angus grounds. Really great hospitality there. Nice locals
I work at Gayfield absolutely love it, lived in Arbroath all my life
Nice thanks for watching! I loved my day at Arbroath!
Forfar Farmington is Forfar Athletic's women's football team. They play in the top league SWPL1. Dunfermline Athletics Steak Bridie's are better IMO than the Forfar's one. Abroath's official RUclips channel is 36niltv due to that match v Bon Accord. They have had the 3rd best home record in Scotland over the last couple of years
Nice thanks for the points! Really interesting that that's their YT name!
Most Scottish Football Fans Have Nicknamed The Scottish League 1 “The Seaside League”
I’m sure you can guess why 😂
Haha yeah true!
Be amazing to do all these town and grounds tours. I can't imagine the work that goes into it on and off camera
Farms, football, bridies and boats cheers dude 🥃👍
I seen that baldy linesmans napper on the news. Haha bawheed
Haha thanks mate!
Excellent video really enjoyed it.. gayfield is a fantastic ground proper old school ground.. maybe not so fantastic in the middle of January haha.. Brilliant of the arbroath chairman letting you in the ground..
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
i’ve scored a goal at Kelty Hearts and another one with a tennis ball at Griffin Park old home of Brentford. Got the ground tour with the Chairman of Dumbarton. Scotland train there prior to home internationals as it’s one of the best pitches
Brilliant video love the fact dosent matter the size of club your passionate about it when you doing stjohnstone
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed! St Johnstone is filmed, itll be going up over the next week or two 😊
@@FootyAdventures top man
when i was a small kid i went to see Forfar Athletic meet Glasgow Rangers in the scottish cup semi final. it was a dour 0-0 draw. I think in the final Rangers lost 4-1 to Aberdeen after extra time but the final was 50-50 and Rangers were a dam good team but Aberdeen went on to win the european cup winners cup beating Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to do it. That gave Aberdeen players an auro of invicibility that can be seen as far forward as the 1986 scottish cup Final where the trounced the team of the year Heart of Midlothian. Scottish football was great back then
Brilliant ....absolutely love your work & wouldn’t mind a bridie as well
Cheers!
Quite enjoyable this video keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed!
Welcome to Angus mate, hope you enjoyed your time!
I did!
Great vid.... Enjoyed it thanks. I think you already did Falkirk/Stenhousemuir etc... but did you know the First Floodlit football game in Scotland was Nov 7th 1951 Stenhousenuir Vs Hibernian at Ochilview Park.
Yeah I've seen both of those in separate videos. Falkirk I got an entire tour of basically. I'm going back to Ochilview soon for a video, I'll remember to mention your fact!
Abroath's ground is quality. Cover on all four sides and plenty of old fashioned terracing. Sound like a lovely club too. Forfar also looked quality. Shame you couldn't get in.
Arbroath v Montrose. I'll be there one day. all the way from England!
Nice! Highly recommend!
Just love these videos. Brilliant! Ten out of ten.
You need to visit Arbroath cliffs.absolutely stunning on a sunny day.
Great video, much enjoyed from over here in Nova Scotia ...
Brilliant video gutted I missed you in Forfar would have definitely liked to say hello.
Next time!
Forfar Athletic groundsman/ kit man Martin Gray is a absolute gent of a man was up taking a few pictures outside the ground and let us in for a few.
The dog!😍 Is that Shotts Bon Accord they beat? I follow them on twitter!🤣🤷🏼♂️
Think it could be son. Knew you'd only ever comment when a dog was involved! Shame you werent there to take the pic..
they were a team from Aberdeen , amazingly on the same day Dundee Harp won 35 -0 , imagine being a Harp player coming off the pitch at full time saying to yourself we,re in the record books now , oh hang on result just coming through from Gayfield.......
Great video again. Shining a great light on Scottish football. Saw St Johnstone was on your search on the one football app, when’s your visit to perth happening?
Good spot, I've filmed the video. It'll be uploaded over the next few weeks!
Love the concept of this channel. 👍🏾
Much appreciated!
That's not fair, here am I in Canada and you're eating a bridie and talking about smokies, I'm salivating!
Awesome to see you in Arbroath. You picked a really good day for a visit. Love your videos but I'm disappointed you didnt try a smokie
Congrats on 10k subs love the vid keep up the good work 👍❤️
Thanks mate! 🙌

I'd love to catch a game there!
Brilliant videos all the time keep going mate well done on 10k 20k next
Thanks! Will do!
great vid mate, love football grounds, have visited all the berlin grounds,
17/18 was a great season a part from Arbroath getting promoted ;)
Great video mate. Fyi, Forfar Farmington are a women's team who play in the SWPL, the top tier of Scottish women's football.
Great video! Can you do some of the junior grounds there's some great local derbies in Glasgow and Ayrshire.
Yeah definitely! I've done a few junior videos before "save scottish football" if you look back a couple of vids. More junior videos coming though!
One of the PE teachers in my school plays for abroth as a right back or midfielder
Arbroath is on my list! Looks amazing ground!
It's class!
Wear a big coat mate. Coldest ground I've ever been been at
You loved going on the Arbroath pitch and in the ground.
Wow very good and informative well done you sir
Pure class as always mate 🤙

Things are better than they where with me My Mum is on the mend slowly.
Watching as much football streaming wise as I can it helps keep me going with not actually being able to get to games.
Though I did see that in The North of Scotland in Arena's that are in level 2 a limited number of fans will be allowed in to stadiums Ross County
Elgin City & Inverness Caledonian Thistle for example from what I have read have a look at this article Sam.
www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11781/12123751/scottish-premiership-ross-county-vs-livingston-can-have-up-to-300-fans-attend
My understanding for Highland clubs it is a limited number of home fans only but it's a start I guess.
Arbroath could qualify for the premiership via winning the championship or the play off👀that would be phenomenal!👌
It can get a very windy at Gayfield especially in the winter so much so that you can play with the wind at your back for the first half and go in at half time 3-0 up think your cruising come back out and lose 4-3 as your goalie can struggle to kick the ball out of the penalty area never mind to the half way line when the wing gets up. Some matches only get played in one half of the pitch for the whole game.
NO Sir, Forfar Athletic are nicknamed the 'Loons'. The Ground is called Station Park - because there was once a railway line behind the main stand (Where you were walking).... Cheers.
Superb, the best video yet, i love a bridie, and you looked so thrilled to be in Gayfield, you should have had a tent, you could have camped out all night. 😀
Class video bro the content is quality 🙌🏻
Thank you 🙌
Brilliant video’s as usual 👏
Thanks 👍
I live in Arbroath I am going to wach a Mach tmorrow bc my school is playing can’t wait ekk

Nice! Hello!
These smaller clubs are great, so much more interesting than the up their own backside big clubs.
9:51 thats the brothock burn leading to the sea, i live in arbroath pity i was not driving past when you were outside the ground would have tooted my car horn
Another brilliant video
