- Peña de Bernal Queretaro is located in Bernal Queretaro Mexico which is a Pueblo Mágico! Here in Bernal you can hiking Peña de Bernal which is one of Mexico’s natural wonders.
Bernal, aka Peña de Bernal is just an hour away from Queretaro’s capital city, Santiago de Queretaro. In this Mexico travel vlog we are going to take you from Queretaro to Bernal on a local bus. Once in Bernal we stop and get some pan de queso, a local favorite and then continue on to hike Peña de Bernal! After that we head back down to the center of the pueblo magico Bernal and enjoy some blue corn gorditas before heading back to Queretaro!
If you are traveling Mexico and are in Queretaro you must head to Bernal and too hiking Peña de Bernal. This pueblo magico was one of our favorites in Mexico. We hope you enjoy it! #penadebernal #bernalqueretaro

Every time I hear " Hola, Bienvenidos! ", it puts a smile on my face. Keep up the good work.
Hi Bo! That makes us so happy hearing that! Thank you for experiencing Mexico with us.
Me too … just love these two amazing people … their adventures are always so much fun
Same!!
Great video you two! Loved this place. If I ever make it to Queretaro I will absolutely go here.
That’s great to hear!!
Thank you for climbing that beautiful rock for us! I would’ve never made it up so it was great to see it through your eyes. I’m still in SMA and got out and about some yesterday after spending a couple days with my nose buried in the book I purchased at the bookstore. I’m so bad. 😁
Hi Jenifer! Aww it’s our pleasure! Oh that’s great - must have been a good book!!
Great video amigos. Food looks great. That pan with queso rellenó with café on the side would be amazing.
It was so good! Thanks for watching!
That empty tub of corona is such a tease. What a great hike. Nice drone shots as well. I did angels landing and the one thing I did not like was too many people. Especially on a steep narrow climb, But crazy nice. Enjoy watching your hikes.
Thanks so much! Yes we agree angels landing was a bit scary because of the traffic.
Another brilliant share guys:)
Thank you so much!! We appreciate you!
Thank you guys
Absolutely Robert! So glad you enjoyed and we could help with your adventure! 👍🏽🙏❤️🇲🇽
What a cool looking town.
I know it was so wonderful
That black corn would be great with peppers and other veges
Yes you’re so right. It tasted so good with the rajas con crema.
I've heard of this spot but have never been let's see what it's like.
Hope you enjoy it!
Not sleeping near a church IS a good tip. Do the fire departments in Mexico blow the siren at 12 pm? They do in Chile. Many of the dogs howl along. Saludos!
No I don’t think they do - or we’ve never noticed it but I’m sure we would have by now! Oo yes the dogs always get in on it!
Of course Adam had to have the huge bread 🤣🤣
Go big or go home baby! Haha
@@TheCountryCollectors I’m so jealous. That looks so good
ola ola :)

I love small towns... they suit me. This town is a bit fairytale thank you for taking me on your journey. Some things I will not do and I appreciate experiencing it through you. Have a beautiful day.
It really felt like we were walking through a fairytale. I liked going in the weekday when it was much quieter. Next time we will stay the night. Thanks so much for joining us - we love having you experience it all with us! Have a great day!! 💕💕💕
This is one of our favorite places in all Mexico, wow when you guys went it looked empty compared to when we went which is good a lot more relaxing and quite. Queretaro has some of the most amazing gorditas in Mexico we look forward to our stay in Queretaro in the summer.
It was so peaceful during the week! 💕We loved it!
¡Gran escalada, chicos!
This is Paul in Oaxaca. Well, it's another good video. My wife overheard the video as she was next to me and she said, "they're cute!"
I also see your subscriber Base is almost at 25000 & growing rapidly.
We don't know when we'll make it to Peña de Berna. At least we can enjoy it vicariously through you.l
Hi Paul! Aww what’s your wife’s name? Tell her we say hello too! Yes - it’s very exciting! We hope to hit 25,000 today. That would be great. We’re so glad we could bring Bernal and all it’s beauty to you! Have a wonderful day you two.
@@TheCountryCollectors her name is Gloria. We've been married 18 years and we had our honeymoon in Mexico City, Puebla/Cholula & Oaxaca.
I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but I graduated from the Universidad de Las Americas in Cholula 45 years ago.
Mexico lindo y querido!
Oh wow! No I don’t think you did. That’s very cool!
What a hike! I like adventure when I travel, always seeking out cool things to do.
Yes I’m the same!!!
Oh man, my legs were burning just watching this! What a beautiful town and stunning view!
Haha 😂 at the end mine felt like a ton of bricks!! It truly was so special!!
That town is gorgeous, love the colors. See you next week.
Can’t wait!! Bring your bathing suit because we’re going to get wet!!
Wow, that is another beautiful place you visited guys, thanks for sharing these beautiful moments with us 👍
It’s our pleasure!
Thank you so much for bringing us along on this adventure… the town is so cute and I can see why you guys loved it. Another fantastic video guys 😀
Thanks Tammy!! We had a lot of fun! Definitely felt it the next day lol
@@TheCountryCollectors I bet … too bad you didn’t have those hot springs to soak in ☺️
Also, it’s gonna be hot as Hades in most ocean town in Mexico, soon. I hope you guys stay in the mountains this spring/summer!
Oo man I know it! We were in the Yucatán last summer - hot doesn’t even cover it!! Lol we had to change our clothing at least twice a day - but we were a lot more fit lol
You always find such a fun and unique way of bringing these places to life for us. Thank you for this.
It’s our pleasure!!
Wonderful, you did it! Thanks for taking us with you! I love adventure but this looked very difficult and hot 🥵. Great views and treats as always. Stay safe you two!! 🥰❤️🙏
Thanks Nancy! It was a bit strenuous but once we got to the top and saw the town from above like that - it made it all worth it! Thanks so much for being here and for your support.
Such dedication, hard work and fun goes into each and every one of your videos! Amazing tour of this town. Thank you for educating and sharing with all of us!
Hi Kelly! You’re the best! Thanks so much. We had a great time - and absolutely love sharing it all with you!
Great job you two! Thanks for bringing us up to the top - beautiful views of the town and land below.
It’s our pleasure thanks for joining us!
My god you guys take the best videos … can’t wait to see this adventure
💕🥰🔥 So glad you are here experiencing it with us Tammy!
The architect of the town is beautiful
I know, simply stunning!
I am more of an active seeking vacationer. But I do like my relaxation as well. You two make a great team.
Thank you so much!!
This is for a Netflix friend, that mountain is simply magical. I would spend 99% of my time there. The place is perfect for hiking, all the best on another great video. 🥾🥾
It truly is so special! After being there we read even more about it’s healing capabilities. Just looking at it made me feel so much lighter and happier. Thanks 🙏 so much for your kind comments!
Another beautiful town to add to my list of Pueblos Mágicos to visit‼️♥️🇲🇽The boutique hotel you stepped into looked super cool, did you happen to catch the name of it? Also, do you know the name of the airport that services Querétaro and San Miguel De Allende? I’ve heard you can catch a shuttle from the airport to either town at a reasonable price, or take the bus.
Hi Amy! I think they were hotel-ito and Casa Tsaya! And hmm 🤔 there is an aiport in Queretaro - the capital or in Guanajuato which would be closer to SMA I believe.
Bonito pueblo saludos 😊
Buenos días Marc! Muchas gracias!!
I am a passive traveler. 😁 It does look like a lot of fun and you guys do a great job presenting these activities with your videos. Maybe its time to be a little more active on my travels.
Hi Mark! Hey it’s whatever brings you joy! I know relaxing 😎 on a beach makes me happy to. I like a good balance. But maybe on your next travels you could seek out an activity for an adventure day and see how it goes!
Great video! We were just there on April 7th and climbed the Pena! Missed that coffee shop but we had amazing gorditas as well!
Hey Heather! Thank you so much! How cool!!
Hello guys, thank you very much for sharing your special adventures there in Piedra de Bernal. I am from Mexico and I never had the opportunity to go now. I am now hiking in Atlanta North Carolina and South Carolina and I hope to visit this magical place in Mexico.
We hope you get the chance to go there too! It’s pretty incredible!
Another wonderful video you two. You have opened my eyes so much. I especially loved Heidi talking about slowing down and being in the moment. Thanks for that.
Absolutely!! It’s our pleasure!!
Just found your channel, and i loooveee your videos! I can travel a little thanks to you two. 😁🙏❤️
Hi!! So glad you found us!!
Each time I see your videos of Mexico... I'm always thinking of the cool art vibe...
It’s everywhere! They are so expressive. We’ve noticed it even more in the central states in their clothing and hair styles as well.
@@TheCountryCollectors wow... their love and pride of culture can never be mistaken
Hello Heidi and Adam. This looks like a fun one. I like how you show little clips at the front of the video that get us hooked for what's to come.
That’s exactly what it’s called! A 🪝 hook! To get you excited!
This place looks amazing! I love hiking! I would be all over that monolith. Very nice of that guy to sell you some pastries early. Those looked delicious btw. I hope you put some sunscreen on. Wow that's close to a blue zone district for life expectancy. How about a badger fighting a rattlesnake...Riki Tikki Tavi anyone? No? am I the only one that old? That was the saddest beer chest I've ever seen 😢. "As You wiiiissshh!" Adam, the Ballet Dancing Billy Goat 🐐...if I ever experience being on Shrooms that sounds like the kinda trip I'd see. The town looks so fun. Mmm fudge. Awesome video guys
Thank you so much!
I love that city great 👍 video 👍 📹 guys 👦 ❤️
Thanks Edgar! We had a great time there! What a beautiful place for a hike! ❤️🙏🇲🇽
That’s a lot of hiking!! Phew. Shrinks like old people???? Lol you sure are up high!! Yikes!! Summit up…. Enjoy your climb!!! I say full sugar. Love caramel!!! Love u guys! ❤️
Love you too! Full sugar always lol
My wife and I lived in Tequisquiapan, about 35 km south of Bernal, for two years. It’s another Pueblo Mágico and very much worth checking out. But our favorite place to visit around there is the Jardín Botánico (Botanical Garden) in Cadereyta (also a Pueblo Mágico), about 15 km east of Bernal. It’s an amazingly well crafted very natural looking preserve of hundreds of native plants, mostly cacti, some very rare. Some of the paths are pretty steep, but the climbs are very short compared to Peña de Bernal. It’s really a stunningly beautiful natural spot, one of Querétaro’s gems. There’s a short presentation at the beginnings of the visit, given only in Spanish, so brush up!
Thanks for sharing!
Omg so excited to go we will be moving to Querertaro in 2024 Jan… we purchased in Zibata excited .. you guys rock
Thank you!! And thank you so much for your support! You’re so sweet!
Those beautiful handbags are gorgeous. Before we moved to Ecuador I seen them and when we moved here I bought a beautiful bag. They are handmade.
I love them! I just wish I had more room in my backpack. Maybe it’s time to upgrade to a rollybag lol!
Wow!! once again amazing Video!! yes I went there with my Fiancé n family in Feb it was like WOW beautiful, but didn't do all the activities but. next time we staying the night to explore more...Saludos desde Houston Tx :) ya need to Visit in Oaxaca in the month of July huge state party... if ya been there then ya know.. :)

That’s so wonderful to hear thank you Rene!
The movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind was shooting here. From Spielberg, with Richard Dreyfus.
Oh wow that’s so cool thanks for letting us know!
I have watched several of your videos and enjoy them. I particularly loved your San Miguel video, not just for the content, but also for the map. I found that extremely useful when I visited San Miguel just a few days ago. Please include more of those maps when you can, and keep posting great content.
Thank you for your feedback!
What a lovely hike up to the monolithe and you're so right about taking good care of nature. Respect the local fauna and flora! 😊 And I already knew I'm a mujer! 😂
All the best! Kaat
Thanks so much for watching!
If you ever watch Cash Peters, he did an entire segment yesterday (April 9, 2022) about humans are beings, not doings!
