I was around for your Mom’s porch refresh the first time around, it still looks nice. Putting stair treads on the freshly painted stairs, besides looking nice, it’ll save the paint. You always do such a good job with everything you tackle, clothes lines are awesome. I witnessed the totality, so thankful to see it, I’m 90 years old.🦋🦋Peggy

I wish I had half your energy Kelly! You are a special daughter to help take care of your mother’s house also. Your flowers are petunias and the will flower most the summer but will tend to get leggy so don’t hesitate to pick off the old blooms and trim it back a little. Love the clothesline. ❤️🦋🦋🦋
Maybe using the paint you used for the back door and stairs and paint the round part of the table and the table legs to freshen it up🌸 everything looks so great!! 🌸🦋

You gave your mom’s trailer a nice outside make over! I love the clothes line, it turned out so nice. Yes, your cucumbers will spread and take over. I grow my own in the summer at make home made refrigerator pickles for my oldest son and grandson. I live in Ohio, we were in the line of the total eclipse. At totality, it got dark like twilight, a grayish blue light. The darkness and light changed 360 degrees around us during the three minutes of totality. Awesome experience!

I was around for your mom’s porch refresh, and I was in the path of totality in south central Indiana. Such an awesome experience. Definitely a once in a lifetime event😊🦋
For you cucumbers, you can put a trellis up and have them climb. I do that with mine and zucchini. Takes up less space and easier to see the produce to harvest them. I have a small garden space so vertical gardening has been my saving grace.

If you get trellis for your cucumbers. You can train them to climb up and it makes picking cucumbers so much easier and it takes up way less space. also, plant some flowers around your garden to bring in the pollinators. 🦋🦋

First time watching Kelly, and you really made a difference at your Mum's property, doing all the maintenance jobs. It looked loads better on the after shots, so well done. My grandpa had a long stick for his clothes line with a v cut into it the end. He would prop the line up in the air with it… Also helps them dry better too. 😊

Looks beautiful Kelly! I would add some dirt to the bottom of your flower pots so your roots can grab on and they will grow for you and stay nice for most of summer! Unless it gets too hot for them there! Good luck with your gardening! Anything like a cucumber or zucchini vines out so you need lots of room. The kids will love it when they see a yellow blossom that means there will be a little pickle or a zucchini to watch it grow! They will just be amazed how much they grow overnight! Can’t wait for that! 🦋🪻🍄🟫🌺🌸🌼

Love your videos! Yes I've been here since your mom's porch makeover. It's like a brand new porch since that makeover.
A couple comments: 1. Having the right tools always helps; but by learning to use the ones you already have at your disposal, you are actually fine-tuning your carpentry skills. 2. The French doors- minute marker 1:45 it looks like the left door has a lot of "give". Does that mean it's not sealed properly? I know I struggled with airflow from an old front door until I was finally able to have it replaced. Looking forward to seeing my winter utility bill improve! Bless you for always helping your Mom; I'm sure she appreciates it! 😊
I love today’s video. Oh yes girl I have a clothesline as well and I absolutely love it. Pretty much almost the same design as yours. I find it therapeutic to hang clothes and saving on the light bill yes. The porch looks amazing. That’s actually one of the first videos I found of you. Was that porch makeover ❤. I was hooked since then lol. OMG I need to pressure wash my house that is so satisfying to watch it. Come clean. Property is the most important thing that you can own. No one can take your land from you very valuable.❤.

We do live in an area that had complete totality of the eclipse (N.E.Ohio). It was BREATHTAKING! No joke, I keep thinking about how spiritual it felt. The temperature dropped all of a sudden, and then it was black as night. Our street lights came on. As it started to pass the other way, the birds started churping like it was dawn🥰. My daughter got a beautiful picture of the
"ring". It looked like there were red jewels at the bottom of the ring. I'll remember it always❤🦋

Hey Kelly....just a note for you. Clothline....you got the rope type, there is a wire coated one, that is longer lasting , it doesn't stretch. It is cleaner...I use a small cloth and pin it to the clothesline next to the post, use it to wipe down the line before I hang up wet clothes. Check it out when you need to replace your cord.. Great job. My first time here.

Kelly, girl you need to get one of those expandble hoses! They weigh practically nothing when you are not using them. They are so much easier to put away ! I cant deal with the regular hoses anymore. I buy a new one about every one or two years. If I need more hose, I buy another and attach to the first. Ive had up to 200 ft of hose and it takes no time or straining to wind it up on the hose hanger. My son knows I love mine so much, he bought me one for my birthday😂 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋

Kelly you can make your own poles to make the clothes not droop. Your home is so nice. 🦋
As far as your clotheslines, they will eventually sag with the weight of clothes, you need to get the green wire type, it’s coated wire, it doesn’t sag as quickly.Also you can put a anchor wire at the top middle of your posts then pull it back and anchor it in the ground like a tent stake, it will keep your posts from leaning in.

Clothes line us cute and maybe plant some flowers around the poles. You could use two lines for heavier comforters it may stretch
Just a quick note about the water hose. If you make a permanent holder thing, install it on the side with less direct sun. I have no choice but to hang my water hose in full sun and I have to buy a new hose every two years because the sun just destroys it. I'm gonna try to make a cover, lol. Ima try!!

Great job! Doors look so much better. I would fill the hole at the bottom of the left door with white exterior caulk to keep critters from making nests inside the door if it's hollow. Just a thought 😊 Love your videos!
They used to sell poles with notches to prop the clothesline up, for when you hung heavy items, even metal clotheslines sags eventually. I had a clothesline for years but no longer.
It would look so cute if you put plant hangers on the outside of your clothes line posts and hang flower baskets! Also don’t forget your clothes on bag! They really come in handy! Everything looks amazing! Have you considered planting corn and green beans? Maybe some potatoes? If you plant corn remember to plant more than one row so you will have cross pollination and your corn will grow better. If you have a local farmer with animals ask him if you can have some manure for your garden and once you mix that in your garden with thrive! As I said plants come to my house to die lol! BUT my mother always had a gorgeous garden and flower beds! We had fresh vegetables throughout the winter because she also canned. We raised cattle, pigs and chickens so our freezer was always stocked! It’s an amazing feeling to see what you can raise on your own for your family. I used a pressure washer my first time a month ago 🙌🙌 I was outside for 4 hours and OMG I only did half of the yard! The next day i wasn’t worth anything for a week!!! 🫣🫣🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ very therapeutic for me!!😊

Just so you know Kelly, Paint comes up with heat. So if you don't want to get a heat gun First try your hairdryer on the highest setting. The paint will bubble up and then you can scrape it off! 🦋

Dawn fresh scrubbed on the rug with a hard brush then jet washed off would bring it up cleaner I think x
