Several things strike me about Mr. Henry. One is how he thrives even after the loss of his partner. Many people deteriorate after a loved one passes. I attribute that or his creativity and continuing work process. The other is his realization drawing is the foundation in art. Lastly, figuration is the basis or context where he has found his authenticity in subject matter. Many, in my option, who use pure abstraction, avoid nature and it’s mysteries and stumble around attempting to reconstruct it rather than interpret it.
Love this insight into a creative being who had such a profound love who enflamed, enlarged, and enlivened his life so beautifully! There is such delight in his eyes when he speaks of her. Love is forever!

I am truly touched
I really enjoyed this interview .
What a great interview! Bob shows his full hand in this fun and varied interview. Favorite line: "I like games."
Such a wonderfully engaging interview.
Thank you for this interview, I've found it very helpful 😊
Wow. Loved this.
wonderful
Talk is interesting but where is the "studio tour not to mention some art samples?
An artist makes two paintings when working. One he creates and another that the audience sees.
Super
Why is this titled a studio tour?
i like how first thing , he insulted more than half the ARTISTS by saying you can NOT be a serious artist if you get a teaching dgree! what an ego!
