Kings Lynn to Cambridge 48 miles, along the Great Ouse & the river Cam
Join me as I make my way from Kings Lynn to Cambridge over a weekend
This is the 2nd time I have done this walk and it's fair to say it's become one of my favourites
It provides a nice balance of getting away from it (remote stretches) & amenities (pubs/shops/train stations)
Thanks for watching
This is a great walk for any ability, especially for those who do not like hills. I think I have to agree with Rob looks like you had a Good pub crawl.
Lovely walk . Cant go past a pub 😂👍
Looks a good walk/pub crawl Darren. Very relaxing way to spend a few days.
I know this was from a few years ago but just watching it in preparation of doing this walk. Good to see plenty of camping spots
Cheers. Deserving of more subscribers.
A bit different to the CWT.. 😜
Haha, I love this trail in the spring
Cracking few days out Daz bet them feet were damp walking through the damp grass in the morning I use a bit of vasaline on my feet 😀 look forward to the Edale skyline as I want to do that one day atb daz
Hey man, yes a lil bit squelchy! Just finishing off Edale vid. Hectic week
Really enjoyed the watch, an area we have never visited
Cheers Alan
Another enjoyable video, I'm hoping you will vlog the Edale skyline. You'll have to take your own beer though? Maybe you'll get in the Nags Head afterwards. Happy days, live it up!
Haha yes mate will vlog bits, I'm using it as a final prep for my Scotland adventure in May.
It would be rude to not pop into the Nags head hey!
@@darrencurtisuk have a great time. I'm taking my youngest to Snowdon, so I've got my fingers crossed for the weather for both of us. A suggestion for you and Mr Brown.. The Saffron Way, 70 miles from Saffron Walden to Southend on Sea. Train stations to split the walk up. I can vouch for the Northern end of it being lovely and having plenty of decent pubs.
Well that was absolutely wonderful.
An amazing hike, the scenery is beautiful!
Lovely walk that, beautiful weather too. Was that an Adder?
I thought so, on closer inspection was a branch!
@@darrencurtisuk 😂😂😂
Great stuff. Looks like your weather is on the improve. Good luck for the next challenge. Cheers.
You got a new camera Darren?
No mate. I usually upload in 720p but went full fat 1080p with this release
@@darrencurtisuk Looking very crisp. Well done.
I live a couple miles from Cambridge & plan to do this but other videos make it look like wild camping is a bit of a issue to find a hidden spot. 😳
Oh, as if! There are plenty of spots except for a couple of sections
@@darrencurtisuk it's on my to do list. We're off to do the Rob Roy Way next month. Definitely feel more relaxed wild camping in Scotland than in England with the risk of been caught or moved etc.
@@niks_healthy_lifestyle1691 Scotland is sooo good, have fun!
Excellent as always, looking forward to the next one.
That's another walk for the bucket list. Great job. Thank you.
It's a cracking walk
Very good, apart from the singing.
Lol, cheers Phil
