I'll never say it enough, but you should really consider adding a background music in the "empty" sections (as you used to back then) I think it gave more personality to your video and made it a bit more enjoyable if that makes sense.

8:43 the kick and bass won't clash even if you don't leave the mix at 100%, this is because when the bass is quieter than the kick, it doesn't take up the lower frequency region, it still let's the kick cut through the mix.

I did that so that you still have some lead presence in the stereo field and vice versa, but the main focus for the leads is that they’re mono. That’s why most of them are.

That’s not the only reason we’re using Sidechain. If you don’t use Sidechain on your Bass, the low end of your track will be very muddy too
