Excellent! I live 5 minutes away from a National Wildlife Refuge in Montana. When slowing driving the dike road that has no traffic early in the morning, I found positioning the vehicle so I am shooting thru the open passenger side window. That way my motion is not obvious as is would be shooting photos out of the driver's side window.
Absolutely! Using your vehicle as mobile blind is a great strategy and one that I use all the time…especially in the winter during bald eagle season. Thanks so much for watching and your great comment!👍
So true! I’ve thought about getting a kayak for years. I live by lots of water. Do you have any recommendations for what style or features to consider when purchasing a kayak for photography?
@@matthewgehly Yes! I have a Hobie Mirage Compass, which is pedal-driven and has a rudder. That means you have your hands free to work the camera. I can go all day for miles and miles without getting very tired, too. Highly recommended if it fits in your budget!
@@MichaelFogleman Oh man, I just looked it up. What an awesome kayak! I'm going to keep looking into it. I can see it being the perfect kayak for wildlife photography!
Excellent tips thanks so much!
Thanks so much for watching! Happy shooting! 📷

Thanks so much! :)
Birding by kayak is another great way to get close to many shorebirds that would otherwise flee!
