what is the format of putting IP address with port number, just in case the arduino and rfid is located outside my LAN? After configuring portforwarding using a port number, will it be for example like this, IPAddress ip(34.87.110.25:350)?

Does anybody found the solution of the main issue on the arduino code regarding : "Failed to configure Ethernet using DHCP" . I ran DHCPaddressoprinter, it worked so the issue is directly inside the code but I cannot find the solution like a lot of comments here. Any idea ?

first you can run some example code to print card number on serial monitor, let me know if any other problem you are facing.

PC can take any port number, it depends upon the PC, so not to worry if you are getting port 3, just make sure you have installed the driver for whatever make Arduino you are using and then go to device manager for Port number of your Arduino 👍

Your numbers are in hex please use 0x prefix to make an array 👍

Generally this error comes when Ethernet shield is not getting proper internet connectivity....Try to upload example code of Ethernet shield...And check the connection..
@@embedotronics I used to use ethernet on Web server and it works properly.. FYI for trial, I connect Ethernet Shield with my Laptop..
@@michaelquinn1926 yes that is the reason with laptop sometime it works and sometimes not, and webserver example will work fine, try to run dhcpaddressprinter. then you will get the issue...
