Panzhihua City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, is also known as Dukou and Gangcheng. It is located in the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan in southwest China, at the southernmost tip of Sichuan Province. It borders Huili, Dechang and Yanyuan counties of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province to the east and north, and Ninglang, Huaping and Yongren counties of Yunnan Province to the west and south. It is located in the middle and southern section of the Panxi Rift Valley. It belongs to the erosion and denudation of mid-mountain hills and mountain valleys. The summer is long, the four seasons are not distinct, and the dry and rainy seasons are distinct. The total area of the city is 7,440 square kilometers. As of October 2022, the city has jurisdiction over 3 districts and 2 counties. At the end of 2023, the total registered population of Panzhihua City was 1.0665 million, and the permanent population was 1.218 million.
On February 5, 1965, the central government formally approved the establishment of the Panzhihua Special Zone. Panzhihua is the only city in China named after a flower, and enjoys the reputation of "the flower is a city, the city is a flower"; it is the first city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, where the Jinsha River and the Yalong River meet; it is the southern gateway of Sichuan and the closest point to South Asia and Southeast Asia; it is the only subtropical fruit production base in Sichuan, rich in mango, loquat, wax apple, pomegranate, strawberry, cherry and other specialty fruits; there are tourist attractions such as Gesala Ecological Tourism Area and Ertan National Forest Park in the city. In October 2017, it was named a national garden city by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. In November 2018, it was selected into the top 100 cities in China's comprehensive well-off index.
In 2023, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Panzhihua City will be 130.38 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5% over the previous year at comparable prices.
Panzhihua has a subtropical dry-hot valley climate, with an average annual temperature of 20.7℃ and more than 2,700 hours of sunshine. It is known as the "Sunny Flower City•Health Resort". Due to its special climatic conditions, Panzhihua has basically no winter all year round, with bright sunshine and fine weather. The lowest temperature is generally above 10℃, the summer is long, and the four seasons are not distinct, so it is also known as "a city without winter".

冬天适合避寒。热的时间也挺长

攀枝花虽说能种植芒果、龙眼，但1月均温13.9℃，而热带标准是1月均温＞15℃，因此勉强算是有冬天的。
真正全省没有冬季的只有海南台湾这两个省。
台湾最北端的基隆1月均温16.1℃，海南最北的海口1月均温18.4℃，都是标准的纯热带海岛。
攀枝花1月低温7℃，算是冬天的。只是白天20+℃，比较温暖。日夜温差较大。
而台湾海南的冬天就是春秋季一样。
中国大陆没有纯热带地方，海南三亚在极端寒潮----三亚的极端最低气温出现在2022年12月18日，达到了13.4℃。在西双版纳，即使在最冷的几天里，温度也不会低于10℃，并且持续时间非常短，不超过一个星期。----来至百度搜索
攀枝花是亚热带季风性湿润气候，本来就不是热带气候啊。

@@Sfran_ 热带的特点是全年高温，变幅很小，只有相对热季和凉季之分或雨季、干季之分。全年温度大于16摄氏度。----这是热带硬指标。三亚和西双版纳最低温度都低于16度。
