I love the idea, but why so much wasted space on the sides? We have the Deep Sleep solo mattresses and they take up the whole width. Seems like they would be unsupported on the edges? I really wanted to pick this up, but it just looks undersized to me.

Hi! We have lots of customers who pair the Deepsleep Solo Mats with this Sleeping Platform and they've all had positive experiences. There is a small, less than 2" gap between the platform and the sidewall of the Jeep, but it's not noticeable when using these mats.
