Was never fully made clear but, in hindsight, it was hinted at, even in EP1. You could see the admiration that Shuyu has for Changge, the way his eyes lit up for her after the Cuju game and how he kind of just dismissed poor Leyan to go back with Hao Du.

Actually, no, Sun did not assume that she likes him. Changge has hit rock bottom and has been very depressed. Sun's only goal at the moment is to keep her alive. He actually _wants_ her to hate him so that she keeps revenge against him in the back of her mind. It's why he's been treating her so roughly. Because he knows that she's a spirited fighter, he's hoping that her anger, hatred, and desire for revenge against him would drive her to keep on living. Since Mujin told her the truth about everything, Sun is upset that it has messed up his plans to keep her angry and hating him.

And then, when Mujin said he revealed all the truth about how Sun has been helping and saving Changge, that was when he became upset. He already said earlier that he doesn't care if Changge hates him. The most important thing to him is making sure she would survive.
I think it’s simply that he is a guy and a lot of guys like Sun don’t want to show off what they did for their girl. 😊 it’s a matter of their pride and dignity as a man who silently take care of their girls.
Actually, she never hated him. She got betrayed so many times that when she realized the masked ashile man was Azhun, she was a little sad, but her reaction was more like, Again, its proven nobody is worth trusting. The disappointment was towards her life she has to lead. That was what made the scene more painful. I don't think she decided to be his counselor for revenge. She wanted to look after the place the governor left for her. and fulfill his last wish

Was never fully made clear but, in hindsight, it was hinted at, even in EP1. You could see the admiration that Shuyu has for Changge, the way his eyes lit up for her after the Cuju game and how he kind of just dismissed poor Leyan to go back with Hao Du.

Actually, no, Sun did not assume that she likes him. Changge has hit rock bottom and has been very depressed. Sun's only goal at the moment is to keep her alive. He actually _wants_ her to hate him so that she keeps revenge against him in the back of her mind. It's why he's been treating her so roughly. Because he knows that she's a spirited fighter, he's hoping that her anger, hatred, and desire for revenge against him would drive her to keep on living. Since Mujin told her the truth about everything, Sun is upset that it has messed up his plans to keep her angry and hating him.

He wasn't surprised at all because he knows she's really strategic and capable. And then, when Mujin said he revealed all the truth about how Sun has been helping and saving Changge, that was when he became upset. He already said earlier that he doesn't care if Changge hates him. The most important thing to him is making sure she would survive.
I think it’s simply that he is a guy and a lot of guys like Sun don’t want to show off what they did for their girl. 😊 it’s a matter of their pride and dignity as a man who silently take care of their girls.
Actually, she never hated him. She got betrayed so many times that when she realized the masked ashile man was Azhun, she was a little sad, but her reaction was more like, Again, its proven nobody is worth trusting. The disappointment was towards her life she has to lead. That was what made the scene more painful. I don't think she decided to be his counselor for revenge. She wanted to look after the place the governor left for her. and fulfill his last wish
I'm glad these guys are going to get on with the search for Leyan. At the rate things have been going it would seem she would have to find a way to walk home by herself or find someone kind enough to give her a ride home.
