    My hubby gifted me a finished DP and I thought I would try it. I enjoyed cross stitch growing up, but wow! DP is addictive and my.kitchen and frozen pizza for dinner proves that.😂😂😂

      Patricia Branco It works best for me, especially because I work in a continental fashion. It’s super easy to switch between colors quickly. Let me know how you like it! 🤗💎💎

    Megan, I always look forward to your videos! I don't know where you are located, but I so completely feel like we could be great friends! You say things that I say! I've also learned a lot about what NOT to do in my own paintings from you're trials and errors, so THANK YOU for that! LOL! Keep 'em coming girl!

    When I use the kind that flip open too easily I put a tab of tape on the lid so I can just pull up the tab of tape to open it. It works well to ensure no surprise spills.

    Love your videos. I’m watching your techniques before I actually buy a kit and start my very first diamond painting. Question ... you label all your containers that contain the drills. Do you take the labels off once your project is done so that you can reuse the containers again for your next project?
    Suggestion: can you do a video on your routine once you are done with a painting? For instance what you do with the left over drills and what you do with anything that is left over once the painting is done. Thank you in advance. ❤️

    Hey! Thanks for a great tips! Question for you though: I noticed you were using square drills, have you ever run into the problem of the drills not fitting because they are right up next to each other? Every time I use square drills this happens and it's so frustrating. Any tips to prevent this from happening?

    You have shown some great ideas for working on a larger canvas. As you are working through this diamond painting, will you be rolling up the beaded section? Just wondering if rolling up the canvas with the beads on whether they could pop off. Just getting ideas for when I start a large project. thank you.

    • @preschoolteacheraddictedto1239
      @preschoolteacheraddictedto1239  5 лет назад

      juliaoz I didn’t roll it. Instead I just let it hang off my lap desk and onto the arm of my couch 🤣 I have rolled a finished DP and the drills didn’t come off. Make sure you roll the canvas with the drill field facing OUT! Rolling them facing in will force them to pop off.

    When you're finished using the drills in the jars for each painting do you remove them and labels to reuse the jars

      Phyllis Vermeer I do reuse the jars for my next project. I put my drills into my other storage containers and take the labels off to put new labels on. See my video called “All You Need (and want) for Your Diamond Painting Project.” I explain all that. 😊

    ATTENTION: I bought the round storage jars, by mistake after I put the drills in them, I had tightened them to~ tight, I ended up having to break one to get the drills out. So be careful lightly tighten them, so you can open them. Other wise I like these round storage jars!

    Hi there, I just received my first kit and Im not even sure who it came from...ordered off of Amazon.
    I was just organizing the drills and it doesnt have the colors marked with the DMC codes. Is that normal or how do I keep these types of things organized?

    How about using the pool noodle rolling up finished parts of painting can a -indepth video be made talking about that? Like keeping the completed portions out of the way ? Don't know if in making any sense. :( I love your inventory and setting up a diamond painting to take off videos.

  • @phyllisvermeer28

    Do you put scotch tape around all your paintings first? Do you remove the tape when you're done adding the drills

    • @preschoolteacheraddictedto1239
      @preschoolteacheraddictedto1239  6 лет назад

      Phyllis Vermeer On the smaller ones, yes, I put the tape all around the canvas first. But the bigger ones I tape as a uncover the cover paper. I don’t remove the tape when I’m finished because the tape protects the glue from getting yucky googoo all over it. The tape I use is clear-ish, so I’m not worried about it. 😊

    I'm doing my first diamond painting. It's a 50x50cm of a kitten that looks into water and sees a tiger. So I'm still learning 😊 But isn't it too much of a hassle having all these different storage options just for 1 painting? I would find it's easier if it's all in the same type of containers. For example, I would just buy 2 of the one you showed first, with the round containers in it. I love the lable thing though, might do that for my next one!
