A truth a Wakeman fan must not miss. I love Wakeman, been a fan since 70's with YES & his solos. Here's one for you, I moved to London from East Anglia & settled in Acton. I worked for LBEaling on the highways, got a compliant about a rocking paving slab in Ealing. I visited the very old lady, she was a piano teacher & Mr Wakeman had been a student. I asked her about him & she honestly said, "I could teach him nothing."
I see it more as Rick Wakeman's music inspired by the Beatles melodies than a Tribute to them... Anyhow very nice tunes and arrangements! Wow I have seen this listed before but this is the first time to hear this awesome cd - I HAVE to get this and add it to my other 81 Wakeman cds - I feel blessed that I have been able to see this Wizard of keyboards 3 times and pray that I will get another chance to see the Greatest keyboard artist alive today
I can say that he‘s a genius often short of money for various reasons; so he had to publish crap like this (whereas some Beatles compositions are indeed ingenious).
I love Mr. Wakeman...the atmopheres he created during YES concerts are something of unforgettable but, sincerely, this album in a mistery, is pratically reconize the songs...an inuseful exercise...

Ahora Wakeman con su maestria musical nos muestra a los 4 de liverpool envueltos en una sonoridad diferente e inspiradora!!!!!!!
Creo que está muy bien. Cuando uno piensa en Rick y su parafernalia de teclados,espera algo exageradamente grandilocuente. Pero le salió un disco casi ambient. Muy bien por él! Genio!
Un completo desastre, incluyendo acordes que no son y cambian completamente la esencia de las composiciones, una lástima de un tipo tan talentoso como él
