To anybody wondering about all of the trash. This is an extremely poor part of the country that is rich in fishing opportunities. I clean up trash and participate in creek cleanups but it is a losing battle. The locals have no way of getting rid of the trash/don't know any other way. I know some of you won't understand this and I don't expect you to. I can't be responding to everybody who asks why there is trash, so I'm going to pin this. As always tight lines and thanks for watching! Love you guys.
,,,,You are doing what you can for Mother Earth....Every bit coming out helps us all...I did a lot of that driving on the beach when I was s in my surf fishing mode. On a different question....Are these stocked rivers or "FIND-UM" rivers. Your SD-streamers can eat my 26 nymphs....Thanks for walking 10 miles to catch um and for us to be happy...you are. My 10 mile walking days are over and it's OK..At almost 70 .I still can fish and catch um too...Regards....John.."NOT THE CLAUDIA"
It used to be really bad here in Western NC. Straight piping and using the water as the town garbage chute up until the 90's. It's gotten a lot better, but the silt problem from the sudden developments are the danger now to my trout streams.
This is amazing to see these beautiful brown trout live in waters like this. Unique to see this type of water and style of fishing. Would be fun to do.
Only just found your channel, amazing fishing, you are so lucky to have fisning like this available to you , just ignore the trash. Also happy to see you practice catch and release instead of taking home a bag of corpses. Can't wait to see more
Ronald Millband thanks man! I wish it weren’t so trashy but it’s what is closest. It is also some of the best fishing around so I ignore it as best as possible. I also always practice catch and release! Thanks for watching!
I am amazed that trout get that big in that creek it stuns me you are catching wild trout in the south east that big especially in a poor littered and polluted stream it amazes me they have that much to eat in there to get the big
Loving all these amazing huge Browns and Rainbows caught down home! I never realized we must've drove right by all these spots driving all the way down to War lake to catch smaller stocked Rainbows! Plz keep these amazing adventures coming...
great job epic man alot of people would love to have a fishing trip like that I'm getting ready to go to the South fork of the holston river to get into some monster wild Brown's if you fish Virginia that's where to go the head waters of the holston
My spinning reel came off while fighting a 35lb. Kingfish on a pier. I had to hand line that thing in and suffered several line burns on my fingers. Great videos. I’ve never streamer fished, but I will now. BTW, these two films made me sub.
Omg!!!!! Dude My fly fishing buddy landed a 25 plus today and I forgot he was off work! Wish I could have been there to film 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 awesome video bro, need to get back on my big wold brown streamer grind !💯💯💯💯💯 I use the same streamer pattern as Well! Always wondered though why do they call it a sex dungeon 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 great video bro anyways and tight lines!
Dave Strom yeah man I’m looking for that high 20’s fish. I just want one over 26! I’m glad your buddy caught that big one though, I love hearing success stories.
ABSOLUTELY love these streamer videos. I'm fully addicted to streamers now...only started using them a month or so ago (after 30 years of dry flies). Would love to come fish with you guys (and pay you for it of course). Do you guys have any guide options?
Legit dope video bro, those streamer takes were off the hook.. I need to go film a streamer video myself! Haven’t done it in ages.. keep the content flowing! I’m from New Zealand
Get a large size Measure Net. It measure fish up to 28" in length. It lets you get a fast, accurate measurement and release the fish quickly. It lets you confirm actual lengths to viewers quickly. The ability to extend the handle makes landing fish (especially alone) much easier. I've been focused on fishing streamers for 20+ years and have been fortunate enough to catch some very nice warm water and cold water species using them.
Aaron Jones I’ve been looking at them. Just don’t have the money at the moment. And all of these fish were measured with a tape measure I got at bass pro I few years ago while being left in the water. Streamer fishing is addicting I’ll give it that! Thanks for watching man!
Awesome buddy! Unreal how you’re catching them in that small creek. Most are aware of the EH but I’m curious if other streams in Southern, WV support trout? I always though the streams were to acidic from mine drainage and I sure hope I’m wrong. I know at one time the DNR would give a person 100 brown fingerlings free to stock in WV streams and maybe that is some your catching. Good luck and I love your videos. Can’t wait for the next. Good fishing!
Scott Cunningham a lot of the creeks do. Most people don’t know about them though, and a lot of people want to keep it that way. Tight lines man and I’ll be sure to bring a ton more vids!
The hole at 11:00 min mark is always productive. I know not everyone can run out and buy rods but start saving your money to buy a dependable rod with two unlocking sleeves. Your reel won't keep falling off.
Yeah I know I need to get one, I'm about to glue the reel on for the time being. But yeah that hole is pretty good! I don't fish it often but when I do I have a lot of luck from it.
Those are some beautiful healthy fish. What a great job. The creeks your fishing look so much like the ones I fish here in western NC. A lot of people don't fish the smaller creeks. They just don't understand. It is a lot of work but worth the reward. BTW your intro footage and editing is AWESOME!!! Tight Lines.
I lost the biggest trout iv ever seen in the wild today forgot my net and couldn't land it some where in there 27 to 30 range and a solid 5 pounds true trophy but sadly it got off
I was working in a cabin just west of the Yellowstone River here in Montana and I saw a painting which said "Lost Trout Never Leave You", it is by Parks Reece. I'll try and post a link to the image here but look it up if you have a chance. Beautiful painting and trust me, truer words are rarely spoken here in Southwest Montana. parksreece.com/site/the-lost-fish/
My biggest rainbow(32 inches I have pictures for proof) I lost twice the same day due to too small of a net and a break-off, after the second time, she disappeared into the lake. Bought a bigger net and hit that area almost every day for 2 months and finally landed her. Get back out there and you'll find her again. Trout like their routines it'll happen. Sometimes it just takes time and persistence to land that trophy but it's worth it.
That is insane. I put in a lot of hours and miles and have NEVER had a day even close to that. Way to go. What kind of water are you fishing? Is it public? Restricted access? Don't care about the name or where, just can't believe all those huge fish are in such small spaces.
I'm no fish biologist, but it defies logic that a tiny, public, trash-strewn creek produces those massive fish. I wonder what they eat to get so big? Crawfish? Mice? It's incredible. Well, like everyone else here - totally jealous!
cool video and All cause lot of people don’t think that small creeks can hold good fish like that... but y’all really overestimate the size of those fish... the basket of your net is only 18” long... your biggest fish was maybe 18”-19”...it is a huge accomplishment to catch a brown even in the 22-24” range. A 25” And up brown is a freak of nature... and for most, a fish of a lifetime... no need to embellish the size of the fish your catching, they’re good browns, but they certainly aren’t 25” browns...

Every one of those fish was measured with a tape measure. I usually don't include it because of how much time it adds on to the video and also the video isn't very good (can't see numbers well). But we stopped using the frabill net with the 18 inch basket because it wasn't big enough. Anyway thanks for watching!! And thanks for elaborating in your comment so I understand where people are coming from.
But still...Regardless of its a 21-22 inch basket... those fish aren’t 24”-25” fish... I mean, come on dude... those fish aren’t even the length of the basket... they’re good, solid brown trout... 19-20” if the basket is what you say it is... but a 25” Brown... no way
And I’m not hateing on you guys in anyway, I respect what you do and where you go to find fish like that... but “10 feet of brown trout” in 5 fish ... comeee onnnn dude. Not a snowballs chance in hell. Just be real man.
nick p I mean I’m not going to argue with you lol I don’t care enough. I’ve got 4 other videos with fish over 25 inches. I’m less shocked that you’re questioning the length of the fish and more shocked that you don’t believe we catch 25 inch brown trout 😂 I mean everybody is going to say I fake this or fake that, it doesn’t bother me anymore. I wish you the best and go ahead and check out the other big trout on the channel, this was only the tip of the iceberg. Tight lines!
Caught my pb brown small mouth fishing on a baitcaster lol but I love browns hoping to get ibto fly fishing this season been tying up streamers and stuff preparing

Peanut butter rainbow and brown .that's great!
It used to be really bad here in Western NC. Straight piping and using the water as the town garbage chute up until the 90's. It's gotten a lot better, but the silt problem from the sudden developments are the danger now to my trout streams.

HOW BOUT THAT DIRTY WATER TROUT FISHING 👍🤜
I am amazed the locals dont overfish these streams....I am also amazed at the sized of the fish coming out of such small streams
The locals do fish it, there just aren't many people in the area. It's also a nasty area with a lot of pollution so you can't really eat the fish.
Real nice fish, you boys need to try the clinch river in tennessee big browns an rainbows
That bow was a pig 🐖 congrats to Andrew

I wonder if the Hardman crew cleans up the trash and debris in the Creek's & waters they fish?
BC fishing well I see!
It was back when I caught these fish! Haven't seen it too much since then.
So how are we verifying lengths?
I have a tape measure man. Its tough to film and keep the fish in the water and measure at the same time. The footage was usually trash so I just trashed it all. The fish's health comes first!
Wow and wow
