His whole speech is kind of odd, he makes references to something that mortals have forgotten and that they’ll reclaim and remember. Maybe his goals are similar to the Thalmor’s and he wants to unmake the world so men and mer revert back into et’Ada or perhaps “that world will cease to be” isn’t literal and he wants to expose some lie the aedra and/or daedra like to peddle. In all likelihood any theory we come up with is wrong and he’s just a big bad who wants power just because.

Dagoth Ur, Mankar Camoran, Miraak... every game has a villain with incredible lines
This is also the voice of Sovereign in Mass Effect by the way :) Such a godly voice :)
Miraak was such a cool character that was somehow... cut short. Which i found very sad.
Aight, it's 2023 already guys, why hasn't this been turned into a bard song yet?
Ohhhh, so that explains the holes in my wall... No wonder I'm holding a hammer!
Before listening to that, my friend told me he has a transcendantal voice, like if he was speaking underwater...
I'm shivering now

Dragon tongue?
@@whitesnake6655 no, it's Ancient Greek.
@@tahabashir3779 thats sick
Miraak might've been somewhat of an arrogant asshole at times, but man is his voice awesome. Personally? I would want to maybe team up with Miraak, or take his place as the Dragonborn overlord of Solstheim - nay - Tamriel - nay - the whole of Nirn, Mundus and Oblivion!
And after that, the dread father himself WILL TREMBLE AT MY APPROACH!!!11!! AHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
fuck miraak. i cum listening to braith's voice.
What if there was a secret alternate path you could have taken through the Dragonborn DLC, like how there were two sides of the story in Dawnguard: You could actually betray the Skaal, help Miraak return and in exchange you do get to rule alongside Miraak. The first and last Dragonborns as the true masters of Nirn and beyond...
After all, didn't Storn Crag-strider say that you could be "the one to save us..or the one to bring about our destruction"
@@spikymarshmallow7611 they could but that would alter the game way too much, *unless it was contained to Soltheim* which would then lead on to other events outside of the game and into the intergame periods or even other games, but this is assuming that another game is set after 4E 201 which would then consider other issue such as who won the civil war which can't be simply be coin flipped on. If I comment any more in just gonna talk about elder scroll 6 which is getting of topic
@@audileyeti4478 I know it would have made a huge change to the game, but that's just pondering theoretical content of the DLC. But then and again the DLC is already massive, introducing a whole island full of people.
Same
They really went Sauron with him. He really does sound like Sauron from the movie.
"Let me show you true power"
I shat my pants while listening to this.
The Jarl of Whiterun liked my comment :ooo
What am I listening t- ALL GLORY TO LORD MIRAAK!
For those in the know, this is a Dagoth Ur love letter
now through them do we speak
"And when the world shall listen
And when the world shall see
And when the world remembers
That world will cease to be."
Does this implies that Miraak was trying to end the Kalpa and maybe become the Godhead of a new one?
His whole speech is kind of odd, he makes references to something that mortals have forgotten and that they’ll reclaim and remember. Maybe his goals are similar to the Thalmor’s and he wants to unmake the world so men and mer revert back into et’Ada or perhaps “that world will cease to be” isn’t literal and he wants to expose some lie the aedra and/or daedra like to peddle.
In all likelihood any theory we come up with is wrong and he’s just a big bad who wants power just because.
It would have been nice if defeating Vahlok sort of "unleashed" Miraak. With the jailer gone he would finally be able to return to nirn and the Dragonborn would need to stop him from ruling Tamriel or something like that.
The voice of an angel 😇
Miraak is badass
Ashton Hanson why?
Oh I see. Mirraks plan was to folow in the footsteps of Dagoth Ur, who awoke in the dreamsleeve and dreamed of Nirn, TO BECOME A NEW AMARANTH AND MANTLE THE UNCARING GODHEADANDACHIEVECHIMANDCAUSEANENDTOTHEWORLDANDSTARTANEWONEWITHHIMATTHEEPICENTERCHIMCHIMCHIMHBIBSBISDVHVIFHAEKJNFKJSDBVKIHZVBKJESVBOIVAOIVHVKJDHVKJHSEVUIOHNVDIHVBOSDBHVIOSAVOIAOVDOVOAVNANOVDOIVNVDV MICHAEL KIRKBRIDE
+Formless Oedon I am the Sharmat.
There's actually a write up about this on /r/teslore about Kanahrak as Hortator and Miraak as Sharmat. I'm 100% convinced Miraak is Sharmat.
Formless Oedon can you retype that with spaces because I can't really understand stand what you're saying
I like that the last line is enhanced. It sounds like Miraak is slowly approaching until he's right in your ear.
Paladin Danse was quite a villain back in Solstheim
He’s trying to make up for it by joining the Brotherhood.

As much as I shit on Skyrim, this bit in particular is something I wouldn't trade out for anything. It's a shame we didn't get much exposition on who Miraak actually _is,_ why specifically the All-Maker Stones, etc.
well there's a fanfiction on that actually, about miraak, I forgot the name but it's really good but slowpaced af, in that miraak was the son of vahlok
After finishing the Dragonborn DLC storyline I wished that you could team up with Miraak or do something to stick it to Hermeus Mora after everything that happened.
The first night I feel asleep and woke up to Miraak's voice I was like "God damnit is Molag Bal contacting me? I hate that du- what is happening"
Ever since I first heard this it's stuck in my head guys I think miraak claimed me.
"Our hands once were idled" - Random Dunmer
"H-hello? Is this Miraak?"
"Through you hands may I- wait, who is this? Get off this line, your messing up my chakra"
"Listen, I don't know what your building here, but I'm putting a stop to it"
"Heh, as if you can actually do that-"
"Don't worry, I'm just gonna slaught a bunch of these guys, especially the ones without names. 'Reaver Outlaw?' Yeah, they can definitely go"
"Hey wait a second, if you so much as touch a sin-"
"And you know what I'm gonna do after? I'm gonna dress as one of your cultists and tell people all kinds of shit about you like how you love to do each other's hair and stuff"
...
"Hello? You there?"
"...I'm here"
Man oh man the old Bethesda really hit it home with this character. Hes like something straight out of an urban legend, a jesus diety type, cthulu looking god with ascendant Egyptian robes. It really does picture what an ancient 'dragonborn' would really be like. A sovereign from the supernatural dimension
Mirrak shall rule all
I waited so long for this audio to surface once more. And when the world remembers, that world shall cease to be.
