Hi Kim, I'm always looking forward to watching your videos - but, well, Ihad to wait for the DSP because it wasn't yet available in Germany. NOW I've got it. And guess what: Tomorrow is SNAIL MAIL TIME. Happy Sunday for you and love from Germany Evelyn
Awwww, Kim , there all so cute , thanks for sharing, and thank you for getting back with my question about Dx , my sister will be getting one for her birthday in January, I’m sure she’ll need us , lol ... thanks for sharing , ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Your Sister is going to be joining in on the fun now which is great. I know YOU can get her started because you are an expert by now. Have her join our FaceBook group too.
I'm always giddy when the machine cuts the images. So happy I found your channel and got so much knowledge from the videos. And the udimey courses. Thank you.
Oh you sure will and as the first team member to sign up for the DSP share, you can get my sample once I show it on RUclips. Yippie for you. Snail Mail is coming soon. I am still making labels, working on cutting, etc.
Very Cute...Can you help with cutting vinyl.I have the SDX 1000,it won’t cut,set on half cut and changed pressure from 1 all the way to 9 still NOTHING
You can turn off half cut and try that. You can also do a test cut. Here is a tutorial on cutting vinyl. I also have tutorials on sharpening your blade. It could be any number of issues. ruclips.net/video/LuM0Ck09oig/видео.html
Hello - Found this demo great but I have a question about very busy backgrounds. For instance I have a lot of paper pads that have sheets of images on them but I am unable to cut these images out because of pattened backgrounds all throughout the page. It almost looks like the images have been printed as a layer over the background. So when I try to cut my machine tries to cut out the pattern as well as the image causing a hot mess. Is there any way that the images can be cut out without the mess happening. Thank you in advance.
Nancie, if I would have ignored the smaller objects, they would have disappeared and I wouldn't have needed to edited them out. It definitely saves time by not cutting what you don't want.
Here is how to sharpen your blade. Also check your springs, check the tip of your blade, clean your blade holder, increase your pressure in the settings, etc. There are many trouble shooting tips on my channel. ruclips.net/video/tjuhKAsURIc/видео.html
On the right side are the panels. Look at the last one down on the right. It is called the Art Board. That is where you change the units. Thanks for watching Vanessa.
Hi I have a problem. My screen is not giving me the red arrows to narrow on image. It turns on it does scan the picture, I can see it on the screen but it does not give me the red arrows to narrow the image. HELP!
Oh yes Nancie, all of the time. I usually cut the whole page while doing my projects but not while teaching. It takes a very long time so I don't always have time to edit my videos. I like my videos to play straight through so I can get them published quickly. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you have very small patterns, you can't cut the whole page at once due to the memory of the machine.
I’m so glad I found this tutorial. It answered quite a few questions I had in my head. Thanks.
Great, I’m glad to hear it Jane. I try to anticipate questions when creating tutorials.
Love your videos, very inspiring. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Thanks Mary!
Thank you so much for being who you are! Having someone who can show us how it is easier to use this machine is priceless!
Dee, you are very welcome. It really is easy to use and just takes practice to be able to do things without thinking too hard. Thanks for watching.
Love this set and am so happy to learn how to cut out dsp and stamped images! Your ideas are clever. Thank for adding them to learning these skills.

Thanks Donna! I am glad you like this.
Hello Kim!
Hi Linda, thanks for watching!
do you use the same mat to scan as you do to cut?
If you ignore 1/2 inch Do you have to go into edit and pick what you don’t want to cut?
Nancie, if I would have ignored the smaller objects, they would have disappeared and I wouldn't have needed to edited them out. It definitely saves time by not cutting what you don't want.
Hello - commented a couple of days ago regarding pattened backgrounds. Can you help with this issue for me please.
I am a new owner of the SNC. My cut blade is not cutting crisply. What am I doing incorrectly? I have the SDX 125e.
Here is how to sharpen your blade. Also check your springs, check the tip of your blade, clean your blade holder, increase your pressure in the settings, etc. There are many trouble shooting tips on my channel. ruclips.net/video/tjuhKAsURIc/видео.html
Hi Kim, can I just ask you a quick question. How do I change my measurement setting from mm to inches in Canvas Workspace x
HELP!
Gloria, you will not see the arrows until after you scan and when you are in the preview. I hope that helps.
Do you ever do the whole 12x12 dsp at once?
Oh yes Nancie, all of the time. I usually cut the whole page while doing my projects but not while teaching. It takes a very long time so I don't always have time to edit my videos.
