- A part of my IRFCA UBL Convention 2019 Trip. A journey undertaken in Bikaner-Yesvanthpur Express from Solapur to Hubballi on the VALENTINE'S Day of 2019. The Day was during winter end but it already felt like summer at that time.
I was in sleeper class and was accompanied by some fellow delegates who were going to attend the Convention. They were in AC classes so i also got a chance to visit their coaches too.

Bachpan ki yaad aaii ye route pe MG train chalti thi tab coal loco hota tha, mai ne tab bhahut journey'.kiya is route pe.from Solapur to Hotgi vijaypura Gadag hubbali..phir diesel loco.aaya than this route change in BG. MG ka Coal loco shed hotgi jn me tha. Ab toe sab change ho Gaya. Nice video from

Nice...I traveled in 2013 from Hubli to Solapur via Bijapur, Bagalkot etc. in UBL SUR ICE ... Will do the reverse way in day light in future !

its very bad... still its manned by single line, not electrified also
One thing I observed that after Hotgi junction train started shaking more and also after Holealur coaches are like shaking and jumping. This is due to tracks are not so much fit and good to run train at higher speeds. Just take example the introduction scene a train on Nagpur Raipur route at good speed but no such shakes or jumping if coaches happen their..

Once a MG line only one EXP train the legendary Golgumbaz exp..
I noticed this section is under doubling. I think much priority is given to this new BG line than dense single section. Why they are doubling this line any info.

Yup it was once but now after presence of NTPC super Thermal power plant on this section made it come into list on top priority for Doubling and Electrification but all things are for Freight.. A negligible profit for passenger trains can also been seen in future once it get FEDL..

Avinash,THE CURVES AND THE LOCO VIEW IS JUST PURE ECSTASY. THOUGH I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A WAP-7/WAP-4 Loco,PROVIDED ROUTE WAS ELECTRIFIED!!! Nevertheless my PERSONAL OPINION AND CHOICE. Salutations for such excellent videography.
