How hard is it to get the black one on and off your truck? I would want it off the majority of the time.

It’s pretty dang heavy. 600 lb range in steel. In aluminum though it’s only around 170 so two people can pull it out. Here is a link. packgoats.com/goat-hauler/

Mark, I'm really impressed with your engineering and design skills!
I currently use a two-horse trailer which works great but, as you pointed out, limits my access on some of the more remote trailheads.
My only concern with your bed hauler is the weight: I can guesstimate that the combined weight of 6 adult goats, plus their loaded panniers, plus the weight of the hauler itself could be close to 2,000 lbs, which is well behind the weight limit of a standard pickup (like my F-150). I'm not being critical of your design, I'm just thinking that anyone who adopts it is going to need a heavy-duty truck (or fewer goats) for it to be practical.

Thanks. It is working out awesome so far...no heat issues, everything is unfolding as planned...A little heavy, but aluminum is just so much more spendy.
