I have never heard of the massacre! Very sad! I have been in that area of Memphis many times in a vehicle, and I did not feel safe there. My Grandma lived in Lauderdale Court when Elvis lived there. My Uncle went to high school with him. My family lived in Memphis, and they loved it back then. All left in the 60's. Some of the places you visit in Memphis gives me a look at the areas that they lived and teaches me more about Elvis. Thank you for sharing the videos!

Great video Spa Guy, I have to say, I like the old buildings better, as well as the old cars. Someone said to me recently that people don't walk in America, that's why the streets are quiet,they take the car. In Europe you see people everywhere and crowds on the street. Never realized that🙂. I have noticed a big difference, it was the first time I didn’t feel safe on Beale street, I cut my visit short…. I also stopped by the pro bass pyramid, there was a group of kids looking in car windows…. It’s sad, I always enjoyed Memphis, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon…. Darlene, Go to Graceland, you’ll have a good time, just stay alert to your surroundings
