See all they need is folding handles/feet and a small hitch mount on the front and this would be perfect. It would go great with their 40v chainsaws and 80v tractor.
Amazing tool & video! Your vids over the last few years have been outstanding - very well thought through, very…I guess “scientific” is the right word, but also entertaining. This video, though…I kept wondering if you were going to go full Monty Python but decided that in fact you were channeling Doc Brown. 😂 If you guys ever do a local get-together I’m in. And lest I forget, what an interesting tool! You totally convinced me…just bought one of the few available locally. I think this is going to be a hot product.
You mentioned putting it on a platform or table. But ergonomically wouldn’t it be better to get a thick kneeling mat, Husky at HD, than trying to lift logs onto it and risk blowing your back out? What’s the better trade off?
New subscriber here. Nice content but I have one suggestion... your outro on your videos is too long. Cut it back a little if you can and it will enhance the viewer's experience in my opinion.
not gonna lie that little thing is pretty damn cool
I know
Thanks I'm putting my house up for sale in town tomorrow and buying one in the country that has a woods just so I can buy this log splitter.

I bought one of these last week. It is really nice!!! No regrets!
I have mesquite, extremely hard.
Ill buy one when EGO makea one.
I want one.
Great review. Lots of detail, including the internal view and mechanics of operation. I'm seriously tempted.

Looks like it's okay for low volume boujie wood. Let's see it run some gnarly hardhack.
yeah, so, did you actually watch the video? This log splitter out performs any hydraulic system I've used.
@@TomUlcak must have used some really small hydraulic splitters.
@@myloveisajoke 'must have'? did you watch the video?
Do you have new dentures? It sure sounds like it!
@@CowboyPants-h5p I had a tooth knocked out and have a temp tooth
faster by hand so pointless
@@nickb7040 not everybody can, or wants to split wood by hand
Can you split a tough log with repeated cycles?
@@John-cj3ve yes
@@ConcordCarpenter thx; I was concerned about double and triple trunk pieces.
Got some recent dental work?
Great video. Good info.
If it accepted up to 30" long logs, I'd be all over it.
The 20" max length is just not enough for me.
Nice but $1,000? No!
Where can I find this?
Home Depot sat some outside for a demo.
Now you can grab one at the swap meet behind the public housing complex.
Ryobi tools are sold through Home Depot.
If you want to save a few bucks, wait for it to show up on their outlet store, Direct Tools.

I wonder if the wheels are easily replaceable and available to order as parts. Maybe the axle too?
Good idea
You can extend the handles with a couple of short pieces of pvc.
That’s some Yankee ingenuity right there

No thanks stick with my gas splitter
It's pretty cool but you can buy 4 log spliters for that price. They pretty much priced themselves out of the market
Where are you buying wood splitters for $250? Most are in the $700-900 range for entry level.
He man split wood with axe, not have to bend the knee. It’s much more satisfying at the end of a long day. :^)
If you are old and have shoulder problems you get tired of swinging a axe or splitting mual
