It’s awesome to see the orchestra’s reaction as they see at awe, especially the violinist’s knowing how difficult this piece is

Not necessarily. There are people, who don't envy others their success. Maybe because they are content with what they haved achieved for themselves or maybe because they just don't compare. To compare can always be a source to unhappyness, because there will always be a star that shines brighter, a flower, that is more beautiful. Once You have learned that, You get more relaxed. Greetings from Jochen in Tübingen.

He tells the story about this violin in a video.
The thing is, these instruments are not owned by the musicians since it worths so much money. They're actually owned by some billionaires and some banks too.
He had a perfct violin, but the owner was going through a financial jaopardy, so he sold to a swiss bank. And FPZ lost his perfect instrument.
Several months later this chinese guy aproched him with a flawless german and ask for him to test his violin, and turned out to be a very famous stradivarius as well! So the chinese guy rent his instrument for FPZ and since then he is happier than ever. And judging by this rendition, We coudn't thank this chinese enough.

@@rodrigocortez4092Actually he was reunited with the "Lady Inchiquin" in early 2017, having lost it in 2015. He said about it "it feels like part of my body", having played on it since 2001.

FPZ is musically great and also almost the best overall rendition. Still technically he is nowhere near Roman Kim. What Roman is playing, at tempo he's playing and clarity with which he's playing is simply incomparable to this rendition.

@@alejandronarvaez9806 That one is really not the hardest from the piece, however how hard something is is always subjective.... It would be hard to imagine with someone of that skill-set, but maybe he just forgot, happens more often than one would think .... (it is the encore !!!)
