The trick with the black and white adjustment layer to adjust the brightness per colour, is marvelous. I thought I invented it years ago, and to see you do it as well is great. The way you do your job is showing craftsmanship. Thank for your inspiring chanel.😊
Each step I did I was like wow my picture looks way better now, and then when I compared beginning to end I was so shocked! I didn't realize how flat my pictures were looking before. This just elevated my retouching by sooo much! Thank you!!
Kayleigh, please make more of these videos, in particular different skin tones, different shades of skin (olive to very dark). I think it would help our community so much more! You keep doing what you're doing, it's great!
Please please please make more videos!!! love ur tutorials. They're so clear and easy to follow. Straight to the point. And your work looks amazing!!! Keep it up. I'm a fan!!!
This has really helped me find the answer to the questions I have been having for a long time regarding beauty photography. It's really amazing. Thank you for sharing. It helped me a lot❤️
yesss, thank you! I'd love a tutorial on colour grading skin vc background... as in, how to keep skin looking good when you also have a background to colour grade...
Yes!! I would love to see some more skin tone process. I do lot of beach photos and skin tones are awful due to the sun.. i would like see someone with red skin tone from the beach.
What a great share, these techniques are fundamental and explained beautifully. I do a whole lot of this with a bunch of other adjustments but this is far quicker to apply in my workflow.
This is one of the best tutorials about skin tonning I ever watched. I have one question: I have immpression, that in some shadows I have noticed grey desaturated places. What is your methode to fix this?
Please do one with dark skin! It'd also be really helpful if you showed how to do an image with multiple people with different skin tones. Balancing someone with light skin and someone with very dark skin can be difficult.
this method wasn't working so well for me on light skin. but I finally got to shoot with this darker skinned model and this actually helped so much with the yellow and red off balance in the image.
i'd def like to see how you do the ones with luma masking. I just used this method on a swim suit shoot i did early morning and it was really really really orange. It fixed it better than anything i could have done. so thank you
Thank you for this tutorial! By the way can you do color tutorial for Fashion editorials? I'm just curious how to achieve that golden tones that most fashion magazines do without going overboard on editing.
I definitely would like to see a tutorial for luminosity! love this video I am definitely going to apply this method to my future retouching! thank you Kayleigh
That is some funky use of a black and white layer i must say HEH, not sure about that, the first one messes up the colors, and the second one takes them away by desaturation.
Great tutorial! I noticed that when you tinted the shadows blue, the final image looked like parts of her face were grey. Specifically on the right side of her face. Is it just me??
