We visited Twenty One Pilots with our Scratched-Box while they are on their Bandito-Tour around the world. That means: Josh and Tyler scratched off the most frequent words in their album "Trench"
For each word - we had a question prepared: When was a moment wer they wanted to cover themselves up in a "Jumpsuit"? What was the last important "Call" that they recieved? Do they "Know" what to do when the other band member is in a bad mood? And do they "need" more silence in their lives?
DISCLAIMER: we obviously did not want to end the interview with Josh and Tyler and took it as a huge compliment, that the guys did not want to end this interview. Unfortunately we had an extremly tight schedule and had to run to our next interview guest with our box. So stay tuned if you want to know who will scratch the box next time.

In "Scratched" the lyrics becomes the interview and our stars decide which question they want to answer. They scratch off the words that are the most frequent in their songs and we have a question for every word.

Wann wollten sie sich schon mal in ihrem "Jumpsuit" verstecken? Welcher "Anruf" war besonders wichtig? "Wissen" sie was sie tun müssen, wenn der jeweils andere schlecht gelaunt ist? Klickt das Video um zu erfahren, warum sie das Interview nicht beenden wollten.
WICHTIG: Natürlich wollten wir das Interview mit den Jungs von Twenty One Pilots nicht frühzeitig beenden und sehen das als großes Kompliment, dass sie zum ersten Mal das Interview nicht abbrechen wollten. Leider hatten wir einen sehr strengen Zeitplan und mussten schon zum nächsten Interview rennen. Bleibt also dran, falls ihr sehen wollt, wer als nächstes am scratchen ist. :)

3:44 my favorite moment. The interviewer is ready to immediately change the question because Tyler looked like he didn't like it, and then he reassures her that he does and just aw. I wish all interviews went down like this

I love this interview. not too silly but not too serious either, the questions were interesting and meaningful; and I loved the answers that the boys gave us; I like the interviewer, her manner and her voice, the yellow box, they fact that the interviewer did RESEARCH before going into this interview; we actually learnt some new stuff about the boys; and also I wish I could be as smart as them man

It really surprised me when Tyler pulled out his phone to play the sound he sleeps to. I felt that was too personal, maybe I’m just used to see Tyler sharing so little information about himself in interviews, he’s always making a joke or whatever but for him to do this really shows he felt comfortable here. Also I appreciated it a lot, I mean are we really listening to what he hears when he’s about to sleep? In, maybe, his most vulnerable time??? That’s crazy to think about idk maybe I’m thinking too deep into this and is not that serious haha

I really have to say how proud I am for a German woman to have done this interview! The questions were AMAZING and you even showed a clip from the show that I went to. The seemed so chill and happy to be there. YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES

2:06 You can tell Tyler is really emotional and is trying hard to answer the cover me question here and that he really feels what he is saying, like he really doesn't bring out these type of answers where the question is sorta uncomfortable with him.
Btw, this was a great interview that really had me hooked up the whole video.

a-k-f 2003 er schaut in der Story grimmig das stimmt... aber wenn man bis zum Schluss dran bleibt sieht man ihn noch grinsen. Es war also Gott sei dank ein Witz von ihm :) am Ende war alles cool und wir haben uns alle umarmt

This is a really good interview. A bit of a new concept, interesting and thought out questions and interested and respectful interviewer. I wish more were like that, you can tell the boys enjoyed a change of pace and concept. I also like that, while Tyler is a pro at avoiding answering questions he doesn't want or isn't comfortable with, she's almost always given them a way out if she noticed they didn't feel comfortable with it. Just my observation :) Again, kudos to this interview, wish it could've been longer :)
Oh my god thank you so so much for your amazing words. I never want the people I talk to be uncomfortable and try my best. I also wish it coul've been longer but unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't even stay for a minute longer.

im only halfway but i HAVE to comment. this is one of the best interviews ive ever seen. interesting, well thought out questions, good balance between seriousness and humour, really good and fun concept for the interview. the interviewer guides the interview really well, doesnt talk too little, but doesnt at all talk over them. i love this so much

@@silentxsunrise Glaubt mir: wenn es nach mir gegangen wäre, hätte ich noch Stunden mit den Boys verbringen können. Manchmal hat man aber leider keinen Einfluss auf die Termine und wir mussten einfach leider weiter zum nächsten Interview. :(

Die Interviewerin ist sehr angenehm. Viele deutsche Interviewer die englisch sprechen haben einen starken Akkzent und scheinen oft um Worte zu ringen, was bei ihr nicht der Fall ist. Es ist dann nicht so "cringy" zuzuhören.

Such a great interview. You can tell that both the interviewer and boys are so comfortable with each other. They are also having fun. It makes me so happy, because I think it's just 3 great people having a casual conversation. Great job!

I just think it’s cute how that when ty is talking about something silly he has like a playful voice but when it’s serious , he almost sounds like he’s on the verge of tears.
Finally a good interview again! Great questions, thank god they weren't ones that are always getting asked. Would've loved to hear the rest of it.

Good interview - I love that it was different enough that they didn't want to end it! They probably get tired of the usual Q&A format, with interviewers asking the same sorts of questions. My theory on the quiet game -- Jenna said that she sometimes will sleep during the shows. Tyler is trying to get some peace & quiet for her so she can fall asleep. :D

Wow. An interview where Tyler and Josh aren't squirming in their seats. I love how honest they are about everything. I know they make up funny stories but it just live that they aren't trying to fit a certain persona. They are just there living in the moment
This is the best interview I've seen with them besides the ones where the fans ask the questions. Majority of the questions were new and the interviewer was comfortable with them. Perfect!
I love this interview, it seems like everyone was having so much fun. The questions were very interesting, i love the idea with the scratching and the interviewer seemed really cool. :) i feel like very often people don‘t get their humor and it gets awkward which wasn‘t the case in this interview.
Btw, i really hope that when tyler and josh are 70 they will still make music.
