Hi Kelly ! Wonderful you are doing this !.Ive been watching you for over a year now and cutting some rough Opals myself x Keep up the good work and I would love you to see my creativity,I only have a dremel atm
I thought it was only me that saw images of People or Animals in opals. And then you just mentioned Picture Stones! wow. That's incredible. Watching from Toronto Canada. I was watchin some old Eps of Outback Opals. What a coincidence just finding your new channel. I love you Opal Queen.
Ive caught this bug too, I feel like ive gone mad spending thousands on grinding wheels and saws just so I can peal open rocks all day... or I wish I could get enough to spend all day grinding at least! you are so lucky to have access to those goodies in your own backyard... I guess im also lucky to be here in the states so far away from the temptation...I have to be patient, save my money and make the right purchases, if I lived out there I feel like I would be spending all day scheming of ways to get at those rough seams
You should definitely keep making videos oboQ love your work. Should make some polishing videos like Justin. Love both your work but yall clean it up different.
Iam a knewbii of buying opals, the problems that i have is ” whats the Value?” Because iam going too resell them. I saw a Nice stone for 16000 $ and valued att 90 000$, a big gigant step if you ask me, but if i can get reasonable eskplanation of this gigant step i could understand it ?
My best advice is to ask others in the industry what they'd price stones as - ask say at least 5 different people. Between all of those people you can start to see what the average price for your opal is. Alongside this, take into account the all of these different aspects I talk about in this video. It's hard to secure a set price for opal because it's so unique!
Now, how about some of that rough? Straight from the miner. You. Maybe then, I could afford to play with cutting! Thanks! Great vid! The stuff is addicting!! I need some!
We mostly sell cut stones, rubs and medium grade opal, we don't sell rough. However, I'll more videos coming and can teach people about rough opal. Yeah, it does make it easier - stay posted for the rough opal videos :)
what a bolshit 14:00 he went to Hong kong to make 4K. after plane ticket and hotel and all expenses? I guess he didn't make any profit. Just cut the crap
