This performance came within 2 weeks after their highly successful Taiwan 🇹🇼 campaign. It's too bad they couldn't do the same show in Taipei but obvious time constraints limited that performance. These performers are true ambassadors regardless and their dedication and commitment to their art is unsurpassed. They are "Best in Class". 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤
Actually they did perform everything you saw in this video in Taiwan but in separate performances. The latter part of this performance which I believe is referred to as stage drill or field show on Oct 9, the former portion on other occasions. Edit: Revisited Taiwan trip performances and need to clarify that only an abbreviated portion of the field show was performed there. Apologies for the error
I admit, hearing Sing, Sing, Sing makes me excited but also a little bit sad when it's done as the finale -- because I know the performance is almost over. Okay, not SO sad. It's still exciting. When I think of this group, it's so special -- everything they've gone through, their wonderful history, the way their lively personalities show through in their performance is wonderful. The drum major at 4:20 should be a celebrity actress. The way you can tell are smiling even while playing, or in the in-between breaths. The way little moves are added, like the brass' synchronized hand-wave during Lum's Love song at 10:22. It makes you feel like even though you've never met this band and might not even ever see them in person, you have a feel for the wonderful people they are.
A wonderful performance and incredible choice of music. Fanfare for Tachibana Enter the Gladiators,(a really great choice, as they are the gladiators of High School Bands) If you love me hymn Then the song, with obligatory scream Winter Games , a great favourite Second Star to the Right, so beautiful played solo by the saxophonist ❤️ Then Lum’s love song and done in great Latin style . Next Soran Funk, a big favourite in Japan 🙏 Followed by Round Midnight, a jazz song 👍, lovely trombone solo. Great favourite next E WF popular number September. Memories of you, again a beautiful soloist on the clarinet ❤️ And the finale of Sing Sing Sing. All this set against great choreography Totally spell binding performance. They are without doubt the greatest school band ever. Thank for this amazing video 👏👏👏 The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

@@NJ-zw6uh No,thank you for your kind words. In Taipei, the clarinet player was seen working quite closely with the DM. So your inside information could well be spot on. They groom leaders from first years with potential. And you have to agree, this school is in a class of its own. There has got to be a waiting list as long as your arm to join this school. Mums and Dads must be working double shifts to get their child into Tachibana.

That was a huge program presented as only Tachibana SHSB can! Enter the Gladiators showed they can march/drill with the best of them, but what has me shaking my head in disbelief is the times when band members are literally running to get in position, while playing, and there is never a duff note or anyone out of sync, nor a failure to inject their customary richness into the music. Astounding! There is something wrong with your video however, it looked as though one band member made a mistake of choreography - obviously this is impossible and I suspect it is due to faulty equipment, so I'd respectfully suggest you take your video camera to be professionally serviced as soon as is practicable. 😜 While there is nothing wrong with the sound in this video, it is still an outdoor performance. For absolutely crystal clear sound (I'm thinking about the solo performances here) as well as excellent videography and editing, your subscribers might want to look at the Taiwan GACC video here ruclips.net/video/0mDmUNNic0o/видео.html I'm not a musician, but I think the picolo solo for Soran Funk is sublime! 😢

いつもながら、圧倒されます。楽器が完璧で、ダンスがうまくて、中距離ランナー並みの体力・・・すべて揃って、オレンジのユニフォームが着られるのですね。私は走りながらとか、ジャンプしながら正確に金管楽器が吹けたり、太鼓をたたけるのが信じられない。
ここに至るまでの彼等彼女等の努力に継ぐ努力に賛辞を惜しまぬ人はいない筈。

いつも感動(涙)しながら観ています。レベルの高い演奏をしながら、走り回ったりステップ踏んだり、マスゲームのように複雑なフォーメーションもきれいに決めながら次々とパフォーマンスを披露❗元気いっぱい、笑顔で愛嬌のある振付け✌ソロも素敵だし、何度観ても飽きることがありません👍

橘高校マーチングやはり、うまいけど、どうしても地元玉名女子高を応援してしまいます
ガイドラインがあるから歩きやすいと思うかも知れないが、彼女たちはほぼ正面しか見ていない...なのに交差するラインを踏む時にはほぼ土踏まずで踏む。
あと、指揮者がいないのにタイミングをどうやって合わせてんの？
他校では顧問が指揮してさらに後方に指揮者を配置するのに橘高校はパーカスの音だけで合わせてんのかな？
2017年のバンドフェストでもスターウォーズで横山先生は指揮台を降りてほぼ最終盤まで放置プレーだった💦

119期のDMさんは知っている限りソロはないはずです
しかしマーチングパレードなどではやはり存在感はありましたよ😃
2年生の時の別府のパレードでは隊の先頭でトロンボーン吹いていますよ。
