Dear Margreth, do not be afraid getting your stamps stained because they will still work perfectly. And your yellow ink will show up perfectly after your purple stained your stamps.. 😉 some ink colors (depends on the colors, red is mainly the "problem") simply "stay" but as long as you clean your stamp with water, stamping solution or alcohol or whatever your next color used will be fine and not mixed up. Concerning StazOn: I admit I had to get used to it. But it is the perfect ink for any smooth surface (acetat, porcelain, ceramics, foils....) My favorite WHITE ink pad is ( and I have given many brands a chance 😁) StazOn Pigment Snowflake from Tsukineko. It is the most opaque white ink pad I have ever experienced. If you want a 100 % white on your project you'll have to emboss using white embossing powder. But Snowflake is the runner up 🤗 Concerning the Distress Oxides: Black Soot is available. And fun fact: Distress Ink Picket Fence (White; I use it for distressing and it is showing up nicely on dark backgrounds) was actually the first Oxide although named an ink. Distress Oxides were invented in the aftermath of Picket Fence... thank you for your infotainment, just love it❣️
Instead of a separate folder with the dauber pads, I put the little Velcro dots UNDER the bottom of the actual stamp pad - then attach the separate dauber pad with the actual stamp pad. There is a “well” under there on the outside. I also have a dedicated dauber for my most used colors - some are with a wooden spool 🧵- I just put Velcro on one end.
Very Peri stands fpr periwinkle. Its a blue with a hint of purple .It was my favorite color when I was a child- it only came in the box of 64 count of Crayola crayons and was always the first color I would use. Love the swatches. Thanks!
Margreth, I truly enjoyed your video. I like that you were not trying to "sell" anyone product over another, but simply stating how it worked for you. That way we get a true idea of how each color, each company, compares with each other. Thank you for taking the time to show us, not just the colors, but how you store them, and the different ways you apply the colors. I hope you get to have many wonderful crafty days with all your new colors. Blessings to you and yours.
Thank you for showing us the new colors from Versafine Claire. I've been curious about them. Stamp manufacturers say to not use alcohol to clean your stamps. It will dry them out. If you must use alcohol, I would spray them with water right after. I personally use water to clean my stamps. No cleaners needed.
Thank you! Love this! I think you might have just saved me a lot of money on wrong inks for my purposes! Rusty Hinge oxide, for all its orange undertones, is my go-to for edges because it matches my favorite papers so well (Stamperia especially, but also nearly any brand of autumn-themed scrapbook paper). I finally found Vintage Photo ink and it isn't the color I expected; now I know why. I'll keep looking for the oxide. Dried out ink pads often revive with a gentle spritz of water. Sometimes I get partially dried out pads from the store (still brand new!) and the water trick seems to revive them as well as it does my 12 year old ink pads. Now I store all my ink pads and my pens upside down to keep the ink at the surface. Thank you so much for explaining about the different inks giving a different quality of stamping clarity. Didn't know I needed Versafine Clair, but my oldest blue and purple pads need replacing--they're crumbling! Didn't know that could happen--so I'll check out V.C. for detailed stamping. Thank you again!!
Great video. Thanks for reviewing the new VersaFine Claire. Tim/Ranger Distress ink is a dye ink. The oxides are a hybrid that are a combo of dye and pigment inks. Both of those are water reactive. Ranger’s Archival ink is an oil based dye ink that’s permanent and waterproof. That ink should provide a crisper image. All of them work on porous surfaces. I believe (based on others accounts, not Tsukineko’s website), VersaFine Clair is also an oil based dye ink that’s permanent and waterproof. I love Archival and have used it for years when I wanted a very crisp image. But then I tried VersaFine Clair and I think it’s just as crisp if not crisper. The ink is a bit more sticky in my opinion. But I do still stamp with distress and oxide and just know in all of this, the paper you stamp on makes a difference. I find there’s more of a chance to get a clear image with VersaFine Clair. But Ranger makes a specialty stamping paper and you can get very crisp images using Archival on it. And Staz-on is a solvent ink that can be used on smooth/slick non-porous surfaces like plastic. Sorry for the lengthy comment 😬
You covered everything that I was gonna say, and more clearly than I'd have been able to! DYE ink soaks into the paper, which is why it appears (well, it actually is) transparent. PIGMENT ink sits on top of the paper, so it appears to have "more coverage", but it's just that its opacity makes it so that you can't see through it. The DISTRESS OXIDES are a combination of dye AND pigment ink, so you get the opacity (of pigment) AND the blendability and reactivity to water (of dye). That's also why you can put Distress into Oxide, but NOT Oxide into Distress -- Oxide into regular Distress adds pigment's opacity into a transparent dye ink. Hope that's clear -- it was one of the MOST difficult concepts for me to master!!! Keep up the great work, Margareth!!
What an informative video - very helpful. Believe Very Peri” is periwinkle; there is also a flower by that name. Thank you for your work here - I believe I can hear the creative gears working in your brain from all the way over here in Canada! Best regards❤️
Love the information in this video clearly gives the information needed to choose the right inks. Thank you for doing all the testing. Crafty hugs Jacqui 😺😺💖
I too put the foam disks in a binder but I use baseball card holder sleeves. I swatch the color and write the color name and manufacturer. This serves two purposes, it keeps the plastic clean but I can use the card as a color swatch. Thank you for all you do!
Thank you for your informative video! My favorite colour in red is Crimson Red from Versafine Mini Ink. I think they don‘t have it in a normal size. It is such a wonderful darker red! I love it. 😍 The Mini Inks are great for beginners, because they are not expensive. Lovely greetings! 😘 Helga
The artist from Ranger whose Archival Inks you talk about is Wendy Vecchi. She is an adorable lady who does great creations and her stamps and color sets are really good. Archival inks are the way to go if you are doing art journaling and you definitely need them too for cards. The good thing is that they do NOT react with water, they are waterproof so you can colour them later with watercolours or layer any other water based medium on top of them and they wont bleed. And there is nothing wrong with having your stamps tint with different colours of inks, they are for that, to be used and well loved and inks are going to tint your stamps, its just the normal use for them. But it wont hurt your stamps and the colour will not transfer to any other stamping. If it bothers you to have pink tinted stamps just tint your stamps with black the first time and then it wont tint with other colours. And yes, I use a blending brush for each color family but no way do I need one for each individual colour. Its so nice and easy to just have a set in a jar and have for all the colours.
Very informative margreth, I've also started to use the verafine clair, they are definitely a good ink to use, and I can't wait to get my hands on the new colours they look fabulous, it's been great you showing us all your stamping equipment thank you 🥰😘
Enjoyed watching! I started out with discount store ink pads and 2nd hand ones. Slowly building up my Versifine collection one by one. Got to say that I agree with you about the daubers and brushes. I have ones for the main colours/hues. If I'm switching and know the brush is a bit "wet" then I work the brush over one of my "ghost" pages before going into a different pad. Never had any issues. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos 🥰
Hi Margreth, this was such an informative video! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us all the inks. It is very much appreciated. Don’t know if it’s Mother’s Day over there or if you even have children but I know you have fur babies so happy Mother’s Day! 🌻
Hello Margreth 😊 lot's fabulous colors ❤ very interesting vidéo and thank you to show the versafine clair news color ! Like you i like dark color 😊 ! Have a nice day ❤ bisous
I have had a bunch of Gina K inks (about 20) almost all of them bleed on whatever paper i was using. Did a lot of testing and ended up giving them away. My favorite for colored stamping is Lawn Fawn and Memento. My black favorite is Versafine regular, Clair seems to fade a bit over time but their pad is really nice, so i pressed the ink out of the pad and refilled it with regular versafine black: perfect for me. White ink: i have Lawn Fawn Yeti it is very similar to Hero Arts white, and it stamps on vellum also.
Thank you for sharing the new Versafine color swatches…they are beautiful! Hopefully available in the US soon. I’ve loved stamping with Versafine for several years and it always stamps nice and crisp. You asked if we had any ink color recommendations for you. I will say my favorite green from Versafine Clair is Shady Lane. It’s a nice medium green that’s not so bright. Thank you for the wonderful video and I hope you are doing well.
The archival ink is great to put on the metal dies for the T.H. tag set. Apply with brayer, then the color sets into the edges of the tag when you cut it. You can go watch Tim do it. I hope it works for you! Hugs! Peggy
Fabulous video, Margareth. I really appreciate your opinion on these inks as they can be very confusing to a beginner like me. I am stocking up slowly on the Tim Holtz rubber stamps that you recommend and I have purchased a few of the Versafine Clair colours that you use also. I am waiting for Blue Belle colour to arrive but I’m having trouble getting hold of strawberry. Want those for use with postal themed creations. You use these inks much more than I do so I am going with your recommendations. It was a lot of work for you but I so appreciate it. You help me a lot. Thank you. Love from England xx
Really nice idea for your foam,me i was lucky my hubby made me 42 all whith wood and in a drawers i put them in ice cube tray i put t❤😊heir name on the dobber and it's perfect!
I agree with other comments, I think Very Peri is Periwinkle, a very pretty lilac blue flower. I use VersaFine pigment ink for fine details in onyx Black as I can watercolour my stamped image. I believe the Gina K stamp pads have a blending agent added to them, so this may be why the stamped images bleed, as the ink continues to move about until it is dry, which is amazing for blending but no good for stamping crisp images. Thank you for the swatches and your honest opinions, my Amazon wish list has just grown by about another 10 ink pads 🤣😂. Thanks Margareth x
Thks so much. I use StampinUp inks for my permanent stamping. The distress oxides are often different colours from the inks. Also, I have some small rectangular archival ink pads from Ranger that I forget to use.
Thank you for showing the new Versafine Clair colours there are definitely some on my wish list now. I use Versafine Onyx Black which is especially good for detailed stamps and a dark/ true black but am also going to get Nocturnal to try 💕💕
After watching you use the Versa Fine, I started investing in them. I do prefer for stamping. I don’t have many bright colors, as I’m more of the vintage style makes. As always, thanks for the info.
Very informative. Your ink collection resembles mine. I only have 2 Distress Oxides, Vintage Photo and Unchartered Mariner. It took me a long time to build my Mr TH ink collection so I was a bit miffed when he came out with the Oxides. I'm not going to re-buy all the colours!I have all the browns in the full pads. Most of my colours are mini pads that came as a set of 4 and I stick a velcro pad underneath that holds the blending pad. Perfect size. I have invested in a couple of Versafine Claire, influenced by your love of Fallen Leaves and Nocturne. I have a few of the Ranger Archival and Memento Dew Drops. Over the years I've learned that you need different inks if you like to colour stamped images with alcohol or watercolour pens. Then there's heat embossing! Stazon black is great for acetate and shiny papers. It's a costly hobby this papercrafting lark! I do love it though.😊 TFS❤
Thank you, thank you for this video!! I'm new to stamping, and inks can get quite pricey. I appreciate your opinion. Now I know where to start and go from there.
Great video and info. Really enjoyed the VersaFine Clair intro as I am just discovering them. I have mostly Tim Holtz inks and also glue the Velcro dots on the bottom to keep its own blender pad. Thank you!
I made my own labels for my Distress inkpads by typing the names into a Word document spaced maybe 1/4 apart in all directions. . Then I printed them and just swiped the ink pad over them to that I had the name and the color. You should be able to do the same thing by spacing the names to fit on your labels and then swatching over them after printing. My favorite black is the Versafine - but not Versafine Clair, just the "regular" one. I buy my "blending" brushes at the dollar store makeup aisle. As far as I can tell, they are exactly the same. I don't even have one brush for each color family. I just clean them off on a paper towel and occasionally wash them. I've never had a problem with transferring colors. There are some very tiny ones for eyebrows that are excellent for getting into tiny spaces on stencils.
Thanks for sharing and swatching. Very helpful. I will be ordering “sand” in Versa Claire, as I live on the coast and enjoy beachy hues. I like my Mmeno and Tim Holtz inks. Look forward to future videos. Be well, from Gladys Ward. 🌻🌻🌻
Thanks for this video - it was very interesting. Dye inks like Distress ink or the Gina K dye ink don't work well for stamping, unless you want to do a watercolour style image, so you spray water on the stamp once it is inked up and then stamp it. For stamping, pigment inks are much better - versafine clair, or oxides (but oxides are still not as clear as the versafine clair). Pigment inks also work better for embossing as they stay wetter a little longer. I love versafine clair and have the new colours on order and am really looking forward to getting them.
Thank you for this very informant video,. So much out there to choose from. And when I began this journey over 3 years ago I thought I had to have the colors. Geez ,., I was wrong., wish I had known then what I know now., oh well. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
You need a dynamo machine(I think you havee) and clear label tape for it. The very Peri might be called after the periwinkle flower(Vinca vine) it certainly looks that colour to me. Fantastic video as always, love seeing all the inks. I've just had a week off and spent the whole week catching up with your videos I was behind a couple of months so have had it in the background while I sew and do house chores, bliss! Thank you so much
I have only 3 VersaFine Claire colors so far, but I really love Shady Lane which is a lovely dark green. I also have Twilight and Morning Mist which are great.
I hate the smell of the Staz On stamp pad as well. When I was making greeting cards, I had to be careful because sometimes the smell would trigger a migraine. I still have some Versafine Claire ink pads that still work and they are 10 plus years old.
Thank you for this episode…you have made me understand what I have thought, ( but just thought it was me 😂 not liking D inks ) but as I have so many ( not as many as you tho 😃 ) & wasn’t going to go down the oxide route….but now I will. ❤
I think having a dauber and a brush for each color family is fine. I know that you should have different brushes and daubers for dye ink and pigment inks.
Thank you so much, Margreth. 🥰 Finally a Versafine swatch that illustrates the fine but very important differences in the respective color family. Especially the shades of brown. Is it greenish or more red, maybe yellow? Very well done. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💜
Very Peri is the name of a Pantone colour that looks very similar to the stamp. It looks like they used the colour and the name and it sure is beautiful!
Very interesting video! Now I know exactly which inks I want. 😊 Thank you! For the storage, I have just one dauber and attach each cushion on the back of the corresponding ink, and everything in a box. The only problem when you pile the inks (you still can) is that the ink of the cushion on top will stain the cover of the ink on the bottom. But I don't care.
I like Versafine Claire Shady Lane for green. You are right, Stazon will stain your stamps if you do not clean them with Stazon cleaner, but it doesn't affect the use of the stamp. The ink will not come off after it dries.
I have a GinaK red, and let me tell you, nothing stained my stamps so badly ever before. I love the new versafine red ❤ oh, and the archival are also available in some distress colors 😊
Staining Stamps: with me the archival ink stains got quickly so far up into my clear stamps that i could not properly see anymore where is was really stamping. It became a problem, the stamps turned weird mix of black and translucent parts. I never used them again after that and had to replace the stamp set.
I'm sort of new to your channel and love it so much! I'm trying so hard to not start another addiction but I may need to order all of these colors!!! Lol 😂
Thank you for doing this it was very helpful…. You can clean the archival inks off your stamps with your archival inks and it won’t stain them at least so far it hasn’t.
I can see you have cost me a bunch of money in versa fine clair!!! Thank you for swatching them all. Found a stamp holder wheel at vintage shop but thought $32 was too much money for a thrifting Margreth price point And words to live by - go wash your hair 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Margareth! I just got on the Versafine Clair, but I am having a hard time with it coming from Distress inks. While I totally agree that Distress inks aren’t good for crisp images… it is wayyyy to juicy. You just mentioned that they are really juicy when you first get them - does anyone have recommendations on how I can curb this? Are all the new Clair’s like this? They seem too juicy almost if that’s a real thing lol I’ve already tried just dabbing all over the stamp but idk if I’m just heavy handed or what but it still seems like it’s too much ink lol 😂
Hi, if your ink is still too juicy press the color down with a spoon. And don't "kiss" the stamp with your ink pad, just a light touch 😉 the pad surface is foam and not felt (like archival e.g.) 🙂
I was disappointed with the versa fine Clair black at first. I didn’t think it did a good job. But i did buy a reinker because everyone raved about it. It did wonderful after i reinked it. I had just gotten a dried pad
But Snowflake is the runner up 🤗
Concerning the Distress Oxides: Black Soot is available. And fun fact: Distress Ink Picket Fence (White; I use it for distressing and it is showing up nicely on dark backgrounds) was actually the first Oxide although named an ink. Distress Oxides were invented in the aftermath of Picket Fence... thank you for your infotainment, just love it❣️
😁👍🏻🥰
Instead of a separate folder with the dauber pads, I put the little Velcro dots UNDER the bottom of the actual stamp pad - then attach the separate dauber pad with the actual stamp pad. There is a “well” under there on the outside. I also have a dedicated dauber for my most used colors - some are with a wooden spool 🧵- I just put Velcro on one end.
Me too😂
Me three❤
I stack my inkpads and the dauber transfer the color to the lid from the pad underneath, so that doesn’t work for me .
A transparent label maker would be good over your colored swatches for the names.
😁👍🏻
Very Peri stands fpr periwinkle. Its a blue with a hint of purple .It was my favorite color when I was a child- it only came in the box of 64 count of Crayola crayons and was always the first color I would use. Love the swatches. Thanks!

Great video. Thanks for reviewing the new VersaFine Claire. Tim/Ranger Distress ink is a dye ink. The oxides are a hybrid that are a combo of dye and pigment inks. Both of those are water reactive.
👍🏻😁

Margreth, always appreciate you're videos ❣️❣️❣️
👍🏻😘
Thks so much. I use StampinUp inks for my permanent stamping. The distress oxides are often different colours from the inks. Also, I have some small rectangular archival ink pads from Ranger that I forget to use.
😁👍🏻
Thanks for all the tips, great info my friend, I love the verafines they work so well XXX
🥰🥰👍🏻
Thank you for showing the new Versafine Clair colours there are definitely some on my wish list now. I use Versafine Onyx Black which is especially good for detailed stamps and a dark/ true black but am also going to get Nocturnal to try 💕💕
Thanks for the recommendation 👍🏻😁
I couldn’t tell the difference between onyx black and nocturne.
After watching you use the Versa Fine, I started investing in them. I do prefer for stamping. I don’t have many bright colors, as I’m more of the vintage style makes. As always, thanks for the info.
😁🥰👍🏻
😁👍🏻🥰
Thank you, thank you for this video!! I'm new to stamping, and inks can get quite pricey. I appreciate your opinion. Now I know where to start and go from there.
🥰👍🏻
Oh good! I've been wanting to see a few Versafine swatches before investing in additional pads...Thanks!
😁👍🏻
Great video and info. Really enjoyed the VersaFine Clair intro as I am just discovering them. I have mostly Tim Holtz inks and also glue the Velcro dots on the bottom to keep its own blender pad. Thank you!
😁👍🏻
Great ❤ thank you for the swatching it's made my mind up about new colours xx
😁👍🏻🥰
Cool 👍🏻😁
Thanks for sharing and swatching. Very helpful. I will be ordering “sand” in Versa Claire, as I live on the coast and enjoy beachy hues. I like my Mmeno and Tim Holtz inks. Look forward to future videos. Be well, from Gladys Ward. 🌻🌻🌻
Thanks🥰
Thanks for this video - it was very interesting. Dye inks like Distress ink or the Gina K dye ink don't work well for stamping, unless you want to do a watercolour style image, so you spray water on the stamp once it is inked up and then stamp it. For stamping, pigment inks are much better - versafine clair, or oxides (but oxides are still not as clear as the versafine clair). Pigment inks also work better for embossing as they stay wetter a little longer. I love versafine clair and have the new colours on order and am really looking forward to getting them.
😁👍🏻
Thank you for this very informant video,. So much out there to choose from. And when I began this journey over 3 years ago I thought I had to have the colors. Geez ,., I was wrong., wish I had known then what I know now., oh well. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Same here ☺️
You need a dynamo machine(I think you havee) and clear label tape for it.
I have put shady lane on my wish list 😁👍🏻
I hate the smell of the Staz On stamp pad as well. When I was making greeting cards, I had to be careful because sometimes the smell would trigger a migraine. I still have some Versafine Claire ink pads that still work and they are 10 plus years old.
😁👍🏻
Always enjoy your videos and good spirited attitude
👍🏻😁🥰
Thank you so much. Any big craft store for us is over 60 miles away. It's lovely to see what's available, and what you think about them 😊
My pleasure 😇
Thank you for a very helpful video. I went and purchased some versafine.❤
😁👍🏻
Thank you for this episode…you have made me understand what I have thought, ( but just thought it was me 😂 not liking D inks ) but as I have so many ( not as many as you tho 😃 ) & wasn’t going to go down the oxide route….but now I will. ❤
😁👍🏻
I use alcohol too, thanks for previewing the new colors, love your videos, watching from Jonesboro, AR.
👍🏻😁🥰
I think having a dauber and a brush for each color family is fine. I know that you should have different brushes and daubers for dye ink and pigment inks.
😁👍🏻
I agree with you about the oxides. I like them better than the plain distress inks.
😁👍🏻
Thank you so much, Margreth. 🥰
Finally a Versafine swatch that illustrates the fine but very important differences in the respective color family. Especially the shades of brown. Is it greenish or more red, maybe yellow? Very well done. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💜
My pleasure 😇 🥰
Margreth thanks for video, very interesting thanks. Now to read comments for tips also. xxx
😁👍🏻😊
Great inks! Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️😊🌈
😁👍🏻
Dankjewel Linda 🥰
Hi Margaret, thank you so much for this. Very helpful. You need to try Stacy Park Jacquard inks they are really great ink. They won't make mud color.
Dont know that brand 🤔👍🏻😁
Very Peri is the name of a Pantone colour that looks very similar to the stamp. It looks like they used the colour and the name and it sure is beautiful!
👍🏻😁
Great video. Love New colors
Thanks 😊
The Versafine Clair color's remind me of the Tsukineko Memento ink colors.
The shady lane green from Versa fine is gorgeous as well!!!!
It’s on my list 👍🏻😁
This was a very informative video. Thank you!
My pleasure 😇
Very interesting video! Now I know exactly which inks I want. 😊 Thank you! For the storage, I have just one dauber and attach each cushion on the back of the corresponding ink, and everything in a box. The only problem when you pile the inks (you still can) is that the ink of the cushion on top will stain the cover of the ink on the bottom. But I don't care.
I do care, that’s why I have the other system 😂👍🏻😁
Great video…thanks for the reviews and honestly!!! ❤❤
😁👍🏻
Wonderful video. Very informative. Thank you so much.
😁👍🏻
See, you have the bright ink pads!. Mix it up may is calling for you to do a bright project. thank you for the swatches.
Way outside of my comfort zone 😂
I like Versafine Claire Shady Lane for green. You are right, Stazon will stain your stamps if you do not clean them with Stazon cleaner, but it doesn't affect the use of the stamp. The ink will not come off after it dries.
Thanks for the recommendation 😁👍🏻
I have a GinaK red, and let me tell you, nothing stained my stamps so badly ever before. I love the new versafine red ❤ oh, and the archival are also available in some distress colors 😊
😁👍🏻
Staining Stamps: with me the archival ink stains got quickly so far up into my clear stamps that i could not properly see anymore where is was really stamping. It became a problem, the stamps turned weird mix of black and translucent parts. I never used them again after that and had to replace the stamp set.
Never used Versafine before but will try them.
Great 👍🏻😁
😁👍🏻🥰
I think very peri is periwinkle blue. Thank u for all u do.. just found ur channel. Enjoying very much
😁👍🏻😘
Hi love 💜 Thanks this video 🤩 Mr Tim Holtz has sais that Distress Oxide are only bigger pad, but I do not remember the reason.
👍🏻😁
The pigment properties won’t fit in a little pad as I understand it.
Wooop wooop❤❤❤ want all the color versafine😅😅😅 super nice!!!!love love it....
🥰👍🏻😁
Excited for this! 😊
Thanks 😊
Fantastic video, thanks so much
🥰😁👍🏻
The red you have called tulip is sometimes called poppy red, also. I enjoy having the two shades of red available.
😁👍🏻
I'm sort of new to your channel and love it so much! I'm trying so hard to not start another addiction but I may need to order all of these colors!!! Lol 😂
😂😂😂
Thank you for doing this it was very helpful…. You can clean the archival inks off your stamps with your archival inks and it won’t stain them at least so far it hasn’t.
I have a different experience 😜
Frayed Burlap is my favorite Distress Oxide. 🤗💖🦋
One of my favorites 😁👍🏻
I can see you have cost me a bunch of money in versa fine clair!!! Thank you for swatching them all.
Found a stamp holder wheel at vintage shop but thought $32 was too much money for a thrifting Margreth price point
And words to live by - go wash your hair 🤣🤣🤣
Way to expensive 😂👍🏻🥰
Very Peri looks Periwinkle.
Yes, I agree.
Very Peri is probably periwinkle. Periwinkle is the name of the flowers on the top of ink pad. I believe the color is normally called Periwinkle Blue.
How does spruce compare to shady lane the new one you got?
Spruce is a dark green and shady note like forest mos 👍🏻😁
Nice info. Thanks!!!!!
😁👍🏻
Does Versafine work on acetate or acrylic? That’s why I have Staz On.
They don't. stazon or Archival black are the only inks that will dry on plastic or metal.
I don’t think so 🤔
There isn't a single colour on the paper i don't like, so filling up my basket to come😂
😘👍🏻
You could print the ink names on your stickers with a laser printer and then swipe the color on top of it or beside it
Do not have a laser printer 😊
Where did you get your colored labels, please?
the entire video was of her MAKING the colored labels
For ranger , they are available on the website 👍🏻😁
I burst out laughing when you said Go wash your hair if you want the ink out of under your nails.
It works 🤣👍🏻
My tip is, don’t press your stamp into the inkpad but gently tap your stamps with the inkpad. That worked for me.
I think "peri" is short for periwinkle. It's a lavender blue color, but not as dark as denim. In the pastel family, I guess.
😁👍🏻
Which ink works on transparent paper?
Stazon or archival
@@SevenplazaCreative thanks!
Glamorous by Versafine Clair is a MUST for Red. I will have tomtry Strawberry.
❤️😁👍🏻
QUESTION…sorry, forgot to ask… do you store your inks upside down?
On its side 👍🏻😁
I was disappointed with the versa fine Clair black at first. I didn’t think it did a good job. But i did buy a reinker because everyone raved about it. It did wonderful after i reinked it. I had just gotten a dried pad
😁😁
Gina K has a brush for each color, then youi just rub off on towel to "clean" before use.
😁👍🏻
