Timestamps for repeating the two rounds of the pattern: 4:20 first round, 8:00 second round.
I found adding stitch markers to the start of these rounds to be helpful.

first crochet project i've ever finished. easy to do and i finished it in two days. looks great. i used yarn that is a little smaller in weight and fades from dark brown to dark blue. skipped the tassel. my husband wanted one because he needed somewhere to store grocery bags for cleaning his cat's litter box. he really likes it as it looks modern and was made my me.

This was an awesome pattern. Maybe because I was using variegated yarn, I found it difficult to get the hang of at first, but then I shut myself in my room with no distractions til I understood it, lol. I found a stitch marker was invaluable when I started the repeat 6 and 7 rounds. Thanks so much for posting this! ❤️

Thanks so much for this! I'm fairly new to crochet and I made this for my mom, she loved it. My nephew even asked me to make him a bag when he saw it.
