Just now learning Irish myself. My dad's grandfather was fresh off the boat Irish and I noticed I get an Irish accent when I get really excited in a conversation, if I get drunk, or if I'm really angry for some reason. I worked with a Chef Moynihan while on externship in New Orleans. He would speak and write in a mix of Irish and English. Needless to say the people from the Philippines and Mexico were a little glad the had a white man no one knew what he was saying 😂

Im irish and I am not fluent BUT I can understand her and currently still learning. The apps I personally use are "Easy Irish" and "Learn Irish", Doulingual doesn't help much on explaining but the other two apps Explain more, on what duolingual is saying.

Liwewise, whole limb tatoos, likewise little girls doing Irish dance with ghastly wigs and sometimes child pageant-style clothing. Immense appreciation for the lads immension with the Irish language, Belfast in some ways is the most Irish city on the island.
