Not really. They got tons of issues with bugs and not enough dedication to software updates. I think they should release new G-phones once a year instead of twice and focus a tad more on those phones.

To be honest, The 720p resolution screen doesn't look like one unless being said. The 120hz refresh rate compensates for it. I'm using it for the past 8 days.

Another satisfied Edge 2022's owner here and battery life along with Selfie Camera are basically my only complaints. I don't think battery life is bad, just average. About 6/7 hrs SOT. Overnight battery consumption is also pretty high in my opinion. How do you manage to get such high SOT, if I may ask?
@@jihigh482 sure mate, turn off NFC, turn of location services, bare bones anything running in background, leave screen on adaptive and you should get better battery life. I love the 50mp and even the wide angle is good in good light. The selfie cam is a bit mid but that's easily remedied with a quick edit. Hope that helps. Also here maps uses far less juice than Google maps. Proton calendar less battery than the Google variety.

Samsung with a15 5g for $200 and 4 OS updates and 5 years of patches is destroying any Motorola G series phone. And with upgraded 25W charging it doesn't have weak points for this price. While upcoming Moto G Play 2024 arrives with last year Android 13 with only 1 OS update.

Nah. I think financially struggling is not the modern definition. I use sub 200$ phones every year or 2. 😅 It's not really a problem if you break or loose them. I last used a 500$ back in 2016. Since then life is easier as I don't put much value into phone. This phone is great for the price though.

To be honest, I Am surprised to see the sd695 in this class range. I know, sd695 is an 'old' soc but it contains two Cortex A78 and 6 A55 cores. Those are the latest iterations of the 70 en 50 series. MediaTek G99 is 2x A76 and 6x A55!

Guys, I have this phone and to be honest the only big drawback is the screen because when it's 720P When you put the wallpaper on, it's super blurry, without lying to the others that's on RUclips, the phone starts to shine no matter how much you turn down the brightness. And the other thing that the screen does not support is black color in the sense that it becomes a blurred color because the screen has a resolution of 720p. And another big thing that I want to share, which is important, is that the screen is not nice and there is an invisible vibration that starts to hurt your eyes and head, at least it's like that with me!!! I'm quite disappointed with the screen because I really like to look at things on social networks and read as well and when reading my eyes start to hurt and when I take pictures they are quite blurry. I will replace it soon...

@@Winamp_ The screen has vibrations, which is harmful to the eyes, visible at a certain angle and light. The phone is not bad, but the screen is quite low class. Quite harmful to the eyes, I do not recommend the phone only because of the screen.

You cant call this "screen vibrations". Unless you are actually talking about literal vibrations, rofl. You can change the display refresh rate from 60 to 120 hz, it might help. Some apps are not made for 120hz and runs better at 60hz.

That's same chipset as in G84, I believe? Well, that has brighter screen with PWM and other camera, though for price G34 is very good.
