    Thanks so much for the detailed answer to my question.
    If anyone is on the fence about getting the combat sports program, I can highly recommend it - I have run it a few times now, as a mini off season and as a pre Judo comp S&C program, and have had great results every time.

    Careful viewers, remember wot Jake "The Muss" (Once Were Warriors) said..."too much weights + not enough speed work"... and he woulda mentioned the algo too, no doubt...😉

    Can you do a video on periodization for parkour? Our "on" season tends to be the entire warm season, which isn't ideal, but most of us in the northern hemisphere don't train our sport the entirety of winter

    Great video as always. Would you say that s&c for fencing is more of an enhancer like in grappling sports or does it fall more in the striking category?

      Fencing is more of a skill sport and the strength and conditioning is more peripheral but say you compete in claymore/ doublehand longsword I have seen enough comps to say strength and power are way more important in that form of fencing.

    What would your standards for front squats be?

    • @F-Tier_Physique
      @F-Tier_Physique 2 года назад +14

      150 kilos to wear a spandex weightlifting suit, then 200 kilos to rock the vintage adidas with baggy T-shirt like they bulgarians. 250 kg front*squat for the mullet, moustache and male croptop look.

    Sika bros, is there any data in sports science for general strength for average punter? I mean able to bench body weight, squat or deadlift 1.5x bodyweight and x amount of pull ups? Whats the norms?

    Love the combat sports content, been a while since we had a video for all the cold blooded killers, serial arsonists and convicted tax defrauders on the channel
