He takes this song to a different level .What an impressive man .wow
Can we just talk about how elvis took this already gorgeous song and made it his very own? He really is the king and always will be.
i think it is so cool to see someone your age into E and that truly can see and appreciate his amazing talent.like you i
feel him in my heart and soul
You really add some great points to these Elvis reactions, very refreshing to watch a channel were the reaction actually contributes something to the experience of watching Elvis and by the way you have such a beautiful voice.
Well you can tell the ladies loved it because Elvis was singing. The women will love anything that Elvis sings because they can't get enough of Elvis. We all love Elvis.
What I love about this is that you get the original and then you see everything Elvis added to it to make it his own which shows off Elvis's skills as a producer and one of the many things that make him the King and the greatest entertainer of all time. Elvis's version is just much better all around in my opinion.
Robert, I shave to agree with you 100% on your comment. You have the original performers and they maybe be really good, but a songs that is already good and a hit, then Elvis records or performs his way. It becomes known as Elvis’ song and to me they are always better.
@@1madlad I'm sorry...and I am a huge Elvis fan (my favorite singer of all time) but when you talk about You've Lost that Lovin Feeling" you think of the Righteous Brothes......even if Elvis' version is equally good, you dont think of him when you hear YLTLF. Again we need to jump out of the Elvis bubble and be unbiased when saying stuff like what you said.
@@johnclaba1457 Not being in the " Elvis bubble" and I still say I now think of Elvis when I think of this song. I 1st heard it by The Righteous Brothers and loved it. They both have fantastic voices. When I saw that Elvis performed this, I didn't think I would like it as much because I loved the original that much. However, I was wrong. What Elvis brings to the song that goes beyond vocal ability ( they all have that ) is emotion. You feel everything Elvis is singing and that puts it on top for me. It's all about how the song makes you feel and Elvis really makes me feel the song.
@@SusieOrSueOrSusan yea you are in the Elvis bubble. Ask 100 people who they think of when they here that song. At least 95 of them will say Righteous Brothers. Remember. It’s not about YOU. My comment referenced society which doesn’t revolve around you or me .
I knew you would love his voice in this video. Again in 1970 he was on top of his game. The Righteous Brothers version is really good but you don’t get Elvis’s presence which is second to none
You could spend a lifetime listening to Elvis and you'd still be impressed by him on your deathbed.
A great thing about music is that different people can do the same song, their own ways, and both be worth listening to, and enjoyable. For me, the beauty of Elvis' voice is unique and always my favorite.
Great reaction Dani because your young you keep Elvis alive so thank you for the video hope more young people like your videos and keep his music alive.
I've always loved the Righteous Brothers performance but Elvis does an incredible job with this Righteous Brothers classic! Really makes it his OWN I think! So much emotion in his voice. One of the many magical things about Elvis.. the way he sings everything with such feeling and conviction. You believe every single word is coming straight from the heart. Loved the way you compared the two Dani! Brilliant idea. Love your reviews! ♥️😊🎼🎶🎵🇨🇦
I FREAKIN LOVE HOW HE ENDS THIS SONG AND STEPS BACK AND YOU CAN FEEL HIM THINKING.... NOW THAT'S HOW THAT IS DONE!
It ought to be against the law to be that gorgeous🔥🔥his eyes are mesmerizing love me some elvis😘😍🤩💙💜❤
That was another thing I admired about Elvis. He never criticized anyone. He felt there was room for everyone. May Elvis RIP.
I love your reaction videos. You are so sweet and with your voice and how you go to little girl mode when you talk about Elvis. You are my new favorite music reactor.
I am thankful for many things. One of them is that my life coincides with the awesome opportunity to listen to and to watch the greatest performer ever -- Elvis Presley -- sing and perform.
Elvis is sooo into it. He feels every word and shows it with his bodylanguage. If his suit wasn't too tight😁 What a charisma, power and passion.. Elv1s THE KING.
Hi Dani, I like all your reactions, I'm both an Elvis and Righteous Brothers fan. I just saw the Righteous Bros. concert, 4/10/2024 here in St. Charles Il. Bill was terrific as well as Bucky Heard (Bobby's replacement)....We cannot do without either of these performers!!!!!😀😀😀
I'm new to your channel from West Virginia love Elvis and love watching people enjoy him as much as I do
Elvis sings it with the feeling of the lyrics and also brings it alive with his performance 👍😉
There is no comparison Elvis Presley superb this version every version that was ever done this brilliant
Elvis was authentic he was the same off stage as he was on stage! And dani i didnt know your kind of a big shot! Thanks for the video's i like watching them.
I love that, so humble and fun! I would have loved to hang out with him and sing around the piano!
@@DaniAtkinson you have a great voice and a sweet girl❤
The Greatest , the only True King , this Voice is soooooooo Strong.
To strong for others!
He will always made it, i guess!
Hi he is the greatest Singer ever Debbie t
Debbie Trapp yes, the Greatest . I feel him in my Soul

Ich auch!!! Schon seit vielen Jahren!
Mein Gott bin ich alt! 😫
Alamea S Nein, nicht alt. Musik ist Gefühl und egal wie alt man ist, wenn man fühlt ist es besondere Musik. Du siehst, auch junge Menschen fühlen Elvis. Etwas besseres gibt es nicht.
New to your channel and loving it. I was blessed to see Elvis and the Righteous Brothers together. Wonderful.
The stage presence, the voice, the charisma, the orchestra. Bad day for the Righteous Brothers. Like all other performers of original songs that Elvis sung, they has just been Elvis'd.
Righteous brothers did a good job. But Elvis did Fantastic job another great reaction
So accurate!
@Rick Harmon why is it
No it's not as good as the original
Hi from Ireland! I totally agree with you Dani. Elvis' version is my favourite of both versions. Keep up the great work!
Elvis always make a song to a level of magic.
2 great versions. Great insight Dani. Happy 4th of July to you. 💥
Elvis Presley possessed a vocal range that few, if any, had/have/will have. Elvis Presley is a stand alone vocalist.
Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers was a close friend of Elvis Presley.
Very true!
A masterful performance very soulful you can hear the 70s rock and the soul in his voice along with untouchable showmanship 1970 Elvis very unique definitely his best year of the the 70s by far he brought this song to a different level in the class of his own awesome video thank you happy Fourth of July ✋✋🏼👍🏼✨✌🏼
Yes, he certainly did! Happy Fourth to you too!
THE MOST BEUTIFUL VOICE THE MOST BEUTIFUL MAN 👑🕺🙏 THE BEST.
I was wondering when you were going to do this reaction, just wonderful!!!! Keep up the content 😊
I really enjoyed this one! Thank you!
no body can compare ELVIS with no other singer ! ELVIS has so much emotions, feeling and love for his music this is why he is the better the kind ! [ one of a kind ]
I use to love the Righteous brothers' version then I heard Elvis he put so much more emotion and passion into his performance that it's Elvis all the way plus he puts sexy into it plus so gorgeous to look at thank you stay safe 😷✌
The comparison is like comparing milk chocolate with dark chocolate !
Spot on Kathy, I was going to say exactly the same, the Righteous Brothers started of well, a very good voice, but the passion wasn't there, the end was lackluster.
LONG LIVE THE KING ❤
@@jennywren7822 That's so true no one can beat Elvis the legend man of my dreams and no doubt yours Jenny lol 😊💋💖
Righteous brothers are awesome, but Elvis is excellent! He can bring to me, his emotions and of course he is georgious. I can't take my eyes off of him!
I agree!!
Elvis all the way!!!!
Dani,I like your reviews a lot -you got one of the best reactions.
Thank you so much Anthony, I really appreciate that!
I do enjoy your Elvis reactions.
Seriously Dani, !!!! 💘.
I love this song so much and I appreciate your reaction. Amazing & Cool.
With Love 💘
Michael
Elvis ALWAYS destroys the original version of someone else's song! His vocal and his commitment to an A+ performance just let's him soar above everyone else. Check out "Sweet Caroline", "Suspicious Minds", "She Thinks I Still Care", "Snowbird", etc, etc. ONE King, for a reason.
The king takes it to another level just awesome G.O.A.T
Great reaction Dani! Both versions are great it's just a great song. But I think I still do give Elvis the nod for his rendition.:-)
Thank you, Alan! Yes, absolutely!
Elvis and Bill Medley were really good friends. Bill tells the story that on his first run alone in Vegas he didn't know if things were going to go well. While he was singing this song and in the middle of "I'd get down on my knees for you", Elvis and his crew walk on stage and just keep walking. Elvis walks by and says hi Bill. Bill looks stunned and a really WTH moment for him. Night number 2 comes along. Wouldn't you know it? Elvis does it again. Bill was smiling telling the story and was thankful Elvis did that for him.
Bill sang a song call Old Friend for Elvis after he had passed. It is sad. He came to realize (too late) his friend was in trouble and that he might have been in a place to do something about it.
Wow! I didn't realize they were friends. Thats an incredible story, shows Elvis' humor!
Bill tells a story of how close he and elvis was as they talked for hours before Elvis went on stage, Elvis asked him to come up and stay with him till he went onstage, as the music started Bill stepped back a few feet and that's when he realised his friend was Elvis he was so taken aback at the noise the excitement, he joked I was so excited I nearly went on. Lol,
P.S elvis made sure Bill's show was always opposite his when he was in Vegas, bill was told you've always got a show here, by the Las Vegas Hilton management. When you were a friend of Elvis he looked after you.
Elvis is the man but no one can do with this song what the righteous Bros did with it ,it will always be there's
love your Elvis reactions
The Righteous Brothers "You lost that loving feeling" is the most played song on the radio of all time. Nothing else needs to be said.
Absolutely love Elvis version. I was madly in love with the Righteous Brothers when they started also. Love their version too.
The Righteous Brothers are amazing, beautiful, and powerful vocals. But I think you made an EXCELLENT point about Elvis and the CONNECTION.
Elvis always seems to live and inhabit the lyrics and connect with them, but also somehow this and something in his voice that seems unique to Elvis is his ability to connect the listener to him and the lyrics as well, he really feels the songs and gives so much passion.
So for me to Elvis shines, but both are legends.
I agree with your analysis 100%. Then again, I wouldn't dare not to.:). I really like The Righteous Brothers, but wellllllllll, it's Elvis, what can I say. Elvis's stage presence, his demeanor, all coupled with his voice and expressions are unsurpassed by anyone past or present. Bill Medley, the one with the low voice was shocked once when Elvis showed up at his performance. He said Elvis tried to be descrete but no luck. Ha. Elvis asked him if it was okay for him do his song. Of course, Bill agreed with pleasure. He later said Elvis was one of the most respectful and nicest guy he ever met. Just thought I would throw a trivia in there.:) It's not a good thing when you lose that loving feeling.:) You're awesome, love you.
I love that little smirk And that break where he says whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa then says ....yeah And smiles like he knows he did a great job 😂
Another great reaction. This is cool and the way you handle the comparison is done with respect. Well done.
Coming from someone who's been in that ring so to speak well let's just say it hits home a bit more and in my opinion gives us viewers some substance with your experience and knowledge as an Artist.
As for my humble opinion in this comparison it's difficult for me because mainly you have 2 vs 1. On one hand the song is done as a duet which has a set of entirely different dynamics. On the other it's done solo and that " solo " is Elvis friggin Presley in his prime. So ultimately there is no comparison in my respectful opinion 😃.
I will say this, Elvis's ability to connect with a song his emotive connection to his voice is unlike anyone it's unmatched simply brilliant.
Elvis is all we need ❤
They owned this song. Both elvis and the brothers did fantastic jobs singing this song
Beyond belief..wow wow 👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Viva el Rey Elvis , por siempre en nuestros corazones .
I love how you catch every little thing he does when he is singing.
I watch him very intently!
I agree ...Dani is so
interesting to listen to
with her reactions...
I would choose Elvis by far as the best performance of those two. He is just dreamy and raw, what a MAN!!
Your reactions to our king are wonderful 💕💕
A new subscriber, love Dani's take on these classic songs....love her expressions and breakdown of the songs. Keep up the good work Dani!!
The biggest differences between the two versions are that Elvis slows down the tempo and makes it a grinder...as well as using a very original arrangement and complimentary backing vocals, the opening base line and funky bridge "baby, baby I'd get down..." are key. Elvis did two shows a night, seven days a week for a month, 2x a year while in Vegas in 1969 - 73. Polk Salad Annie usually followed this song in his shows.
Elvis has it all. The king!!!
Yep you can say that again!
@@DaniAtkinson well, i can say it again to, but i say this - Elvis is my chrush! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He was the greatest singer of all time long live Elvis the King
Both great in a different way but if I had a choice of who to see
no one tops Elvis. I would have paid to watch him peel potatoes.
He was the best singer and entertainer ever...IMHO.❤
Sometimes when Elvis performed this song, in Vegas & Tahoe, when he turned around to face the audience, he would have a gorilla mask on!!! Can you imagine??!!! I saw a RUclips, Wings of Pegasus where the reactor analyzed Elvis’s vocals. I think you would love it. He has only done 2 or 3 on Elvis, 1 was analyzing his guitar playing and this last one, his singing. Song is from the ‘68 Comeback Special. He goes into depth, breaks down elements that even as a singer I think you will enjoy. Next, 🙀 Bill Medley and Elvis were friends and spent a lot of time together while working at the Hilton. Look up Bill Medley talking about Elvis. He has some great stories. One is when Elvis was walking to his “area” to get ready for his show and passed by where Bill was performing. Keep up the good work. I so look forward to your reactions!!!!
Thank you so much!!! hahaha I would laugh hysterically if I saw Elvis turn around with a gorilla mask on!
The difference between the 2 is Mr Presley had a whole lot of sexy in his version lol
That is sooo true! As I said, he won me over!
I’ve been an Elvis fan since about 5 and now I’m 55
Mesmerising... That's Elvis, the voice the looks the moves... The music filled his soul...
Thanks for the reaction "2 for 1"!!!
I agree with you!! Elvis won by a nose here LOL.
Anticipating your next reaction!!
Yes - a 2 for 1, holiday special today!!
Elvis win by Knockout. No doubt
If Elvis had sung this first, then people would've put it above the Righteous Brothers' version. I am not knocking the R.B.s because their performance is legendary. But, Elvis gave it a degree of intimate grit that the Righteous Brothers never possibly could.
TRIVIA: CC HOUSTON, WHITNEY’S MOTHER IS A BACKGROUND SINGER IN THE BAND
Well. I dont think their song come even close to Elvis. There is no competition at all. His voice is like a rolling thunder. The charisma, his look and his performer. It's a knockout.
One thing Elvis doesn't get enough credit for IMO is that he had a vision of the kind of band and arrangements he wanted. He started as a 3 piece band and ended up with an orchestra. He knew what worked. Love watching the rehearsals in the early 70's. He was so tuned in the the sounds.. TCB!
Both performances are outstanding. Elvis puts more soul into his performance. My vote would go to the Righteous Brothers for this particular song; I think they own this. The primary difference for me is I get the beautiful harmonies - and contrasts - between Medley's deep baritone and Hatfield's high tenor voice. Particularly in the bridge where the two go back-and-forth with each other, which is a highlight of the song for me. But I certainly wouldn't argue with anyone voting for Elvis, it's just a matter of personal preference.
Know entertainer ever performed like Elvis
A beautiful song by a great singer.
Agreed!
Sorry Dani, i was faster!
I married him when i was eleven! 👰
The 1970 Vegas version is OMG!!!
It's the "he has everything" version in my eyes! I always loved the original song by the Righteous Brothers!
It's on the soundtrack from the movie Top Gun and when i heard it for the first time i only thought, "i wished Elvis would have sung it"!
There is a God for sure! 😂
When i heard it by Elvis singing it
i was already caught in the "Elvis Universe", and i guess i will never leave it!
What a voice!
What a charisma!
What a passion and emotion!
What a stage presence!
What a sweat!
Oh almost forgot, what a gorgeous, handsome guy! :-)
Did i mention his voice???
And the icing on the cake, his humor:
the suit can't be tight enough in
my eyes! 😁 Of course Elvis made it!
I would like to hear a life version of the RBs to compare both versions.
Would be very interesting i guess.
Don't know if there is one.
The guy with the high voice was the one who sang the original version of "Unchained Melody".
And the one with the deeper voice is Bill Medley, he sang together with Jennifer Warnes the #1 hit "The Time Of My Life" from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack.
A great reaction video again Dani!
To compare original songs with Elvis cover versions is another interesting kind to do reaction videos.
And very important: no competition!
Although we all know that you are a huge Elvis fan, i like your objectivity.
And as an artist you have the ability to be objective!
I hope you had a nice IDday and thanks for trying to reply to all comments!
Have a nice Sunday, take care and hugs to NYC! ☀️
Love Love Elvis, he does something to you, when you listen to him, he can make you feel weakness in your gut,Lust Love ❤️❤️,He tops Everybody, the R Brothers are fantastic too
The R Brothers are fantastic too
Elvis ‘ manager signed him up to do two performances per day for a period of five years!!! I do not understand how he could perform the way he did at the pace he was expected to. However, he never allowed his fans to see anything but his best. A wonderful performer and human being who never stopped adoring God’s exquisite creation, Lisa Marie.
You are right. Elvis sang it with a raw connection. A connection with his fans unlike any other.
Great commentary Dani you say and react to him the way I do.
Both great versions but for me elvis. Elvis could sing the phone book and it would sound amazing
Yes. Not just two shows a night, but for 30 straight days. And at the end of this particular Vegas engagement he went on a short tour with no days off in between and averaged more than one show per day on the tour. Ridiculous.
Than,he died,Too mutch work!
I remember an interview with Charlie
Hodge . He said Elvis
felt he couldn't take
much time off because too many
people depended on
him for their paychecks...
Always thinking of others
Nobody sang with more passion, emotion and feeling than Elvis!
That's what I was thinking of...how well their voices compliment each other.
There is no right or wrong. Preference in music is like food.... we each has our own tastes. Just a FYI fact to mention - The Righteous Bros recording of this song is listed as having been played on US radio more than any song... ever. Think about that!
I prefer the original. Usually do in most cases where a song was remade. But Elvis definitely made this song his so I didn’t feel like he was copying the original. Elvis was my fathers favorite singer. My father passed away last November and I e been watching a lot of Elvis stuff lately and I’m understanding why he was such a great singer and performer.
He made it his own. Sounded like an original
Bobby Hatfield sang solo on Unchained Melody which was re popularized in the movie Ghost. Bill Medley also had a big duet hit with Jennifer Warnes called Time of my life from the movie Dirty Dancing. Bill Medley still performs today. Sadly Bobby Hatfield passed in2003.
ELVIS.
The Righteous Brothers are among the greatest norman human vocalists ever... but Elvis is The KING sent from heaven above! It takes two Righteous brothers to compare to one Elvis. Elvis is talent and showmanship, perfected.
wonderful ..........ELVIS is the best ..........
Tightest band ever!!🔥🔥🔥👑!!
They were great but I am with you !! Elvis #1 , I loved your take on both !!
Both are awesome!
Dani Atkinson ❤️😘
raw emotion versus style and pretty voices.
Wow! 40+ years after his death and women are still mesmerized by this guy. I'm straight guy and even I think he is talented and good looking.
The Righteous Brothers are lip-synching so it's not really a performance. Elvis is singing and dancing at the same time. They are not singing here. It's a studio version. It's not close. Elvis all day, every day.
Great point. That alone makes Elvis win hands down.
No one touches EP singing live especially with all those moves too !!
Would love to hear a live version!
Does exist any?
Great point about the lip syncing by the Righteous Brothers, theirs wasn't a truly live performance. Elvis, and it isn't even close, imo.
@@Gykolove i don`t believe the righteous brothers lip sync .........................
It took the righteous brother's 39takkes to get it right. Elvis produced his whole show. The music ,orchestra and chorus. He did the same on all his records too! He would make them rehearse until he got the sound he wanted.
I have always liked the Righteous Brothers, great listening music, but Elvis has so much more when he sings it.
The Righteous Brothers own this song. Elvis did a good version but its a hack on the original. Where Elvis shines is "If I can Dream, In the Ghetto and many other tunes, he was the King and he earned it.
