First Officer’s Log, Stardate 2181.2…
We’ve just finished a bit of shore leave on Starbase 12 before heading out to fleet exercises in the space between Nausicaa and Maluria. The Jemison has been assigned to what is being referred to as the Malurian Fleet. I got the impression that the only reason we were invited was because of the fact that Captain Malik holds the record for most encounters with the Malurians. After the business on Bukitsa Mu, I half expected the admiralty to pull us from the exercises.
Still, I am determined to make a good showing of myself. The specific system where the fleet exercises are to take place has some navigational challenges, and I’ve been working with the helm officers from each shift to make sure we’re ready…

Found these now, just finished the first Captains log and into these now. They're incredibly handy as someone new to Star Trek and the system as a whole so seeing a regular person play them out and how they should flow is immeasurably useful. Top work mate.
