JoeyJesus OK first of all, learn to write you dumb fucking imbecile. Its not Their its They're*. Second, Billy comes from William. Third my username Billy Pilgrim comes from Kurt Vonnegut's Masterpiece, Slaughterhouse 5 (since you are obviously a fucking illiterate, I'm not surprised you have no idea what i'm talking about). And seriously are you complaining about Billy when your name is Joey Jesus? Fuck off you dumb sod.
+OK Digital Yeah the Daniel Patterson episode was probably the worst before this and them continually referencing it did not help their case. At least Daniel Patterson is a good cook.
Everyone has their own version of what a good night out is. They were a very tame bunch compared to most of the other episodes but it felt genuine so I appreciated it the same way I appreciate the more turned up episodes. They were being themselves.. I thought it served as a good leveler for the more crazy episodes where the chefs are sick drunk & going to strip clubs lol. Let's just call this one a palette cleanser.
They should start doing Chefs Night Out with blue collar workers/greasy diner owners. It would be much more interesting and a fresh change from all the hipsters and yuppie restaurants.
+thePowerPlant I don't think everyone has to get drunk (like most of the episodes right now) but what killed the episode is that they were boring regardless.... You cant honestly think this is a great episode? They even acknowledged that they didn't even talk and got caught yawning multiple times.
GaleForce No, I do like these ones were the people are not acting crazy for the cameras. I really liked the Patterson, Benno, and Vetri episodes. That is just my feeling though.
Just saying but all chef night outs with asians were the best to be honest... No hating but you should check it out and see the like - dislike ratio compared to this LA hipster
I watch and I think to myself... These are the new gangsters, the new Sinatra, like they're giving me a peek at what I can never have because I'm not a cool enough cat, and it just makes me want it that much more
This entire video is the very definition of overtly Californian decadence. Every dish is over-presented in the most ostentatious manner possible. The wine and cheese bar is a carbon copy of an iPhone store. Even the titular chef openly admits to being a lazy deadhead who went to over 280 shows before figuring out he needed to one day get a job. Everybody is just full of themselves like typical LA yuppies. Don Henley put it best when he sang the line, "Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac..." I figuratively threw up a little in my mouth while watching this video. These people remind me of Marie Antoinette.
All these Chefs Nights Out videos are so inaccessible. After I close my Kitchen down, 9 times out of 10 we're all too tired to go out for wine and tacos and posh fucking cheese.....and when we do its a shitload of beer and a greasy kebab. I guess it's the difference between being a Chef and a Businessman masquerading as a Chef.
No , that's just the difference between someone who's seen success and someone who hasn't. He's able to d this because he's established and probably has a team of chefs that can handle the kitchen for one night without him. You sound extremely bitter, and it isn't a good look.
Don't you think it's a bit strange that he calls cooked veggies a "crudité". "Cru" meaning "raw". Crudité is an assortment of raw ingredients presented as a dish. In french cuisine, this is usually broccoli, carrots, endive, celery, fennel, and somoetimes button mushroom, often with a dip of some sort.
I'm a huge fan of Munchies and watch every episode. With that said, the hipsters were out of control on this one. "Tortellini from Bologna and Xiao Long Bao from the San Gabriel Valley"? Come on dude. You of all people should know that Xiao Long Bao are of Shanghai origin, and the SGV is one of many, many places that you can have XLB. If you're bold enough to name drop that hard when describing your dish, you better make sure you know what you're talking about.
The automatic door on the cab was the most exciting part of this episode.
Couldn't agree more. lmao
I've been up the last 72 hours with insomnia...thought there was no cure....I found it
Bruh..🤣🤣
When does the new Fuck That's Delicious come out?
+That Guy on Viceland probably
+Dom's Sketch Cast is there a channel to subscribe or how does this viceland deal work ?`
+That Guy Action went to the hospital while filming in Alaska for a new episode. It looks like he's good, so more Fuck, soon.
+That Guy 2016. When Viceland is on TV.
+rottenbunnycorpse LP It's a full TV channel on cable!
I like that all of his friends and family are going to read these comments.
lmao yes
+Dan Kirby You're mean.
Can you guys please do more with that black guy that did the Seattle episodes. He is a fantastic host
I found him boring
+Numb Gnome that may be because you're a Numb Gnome
+Peter Petersen wew lad
+Flynn Hendry He said less than Centeno in this episode. Guy doesn't even know how to describe food.
yup
People complaining about hipsters when they're watching a channel made by hipsters for hipsters
+BillyPilgrim hahahahaha you are very right but this guys still kind of boring
JoeyJesus
Its pretty obvious they're hipsters bruh
JoeyJesus OK first of all, learn to write you dumb fucking imbecile. Its not Their its They're*. Second, Billy comes from William. +BillyPilgrim These aren't even true hipsters. A true hipster drinks PBR and started growing a beard before the word hipster was even a thing
Khu NoPie
Lol hipsters dont drink pbr anymore, thats a 2012-2013 thing
Most polite and quiet ground of chefs.............. Thanks for showing the regular side of u guys.
first munchies episode that you can mute and watch .. you wont miss much
Easily the worst episode out of a great series
+OK Digital Yeah the Daniel Patterson episode was probably the worst before this and them continually referencing it did not help their case. At least Daniel Patterson is a good cook.
+OK Digital Nope the daniel patterson episode was the worst ever.
I'm Mexican,Jamaican,Irish,Chilean,Samoan,Haitian,Italian,Scottish,Palestinian,Canadian &Mongolian......

legend has it, that man is still shaking that drink to this day...
that wine dude was chill as fuck his good will Hunting story had me in tears
"how's your cat, Travis?"
"pretty good."
They should start doing Chefs Night Out with blue collar workers/greasy diner owners. It would be much more interesting and a fresh change from all the hipsters and yuppie restaurants.
Great idea for real.
Thats a great ideal!!! Now they will steal it but fail because it will still be hipsters. They really need to go more South.
best part of the video was watching the van door close.
"vegan wine"? thats like calling a carrot a vegan carrot...
that overly posh shit
They don't know wtf they're talking about
+freezinfeet wines can contain by-products of egg shell and whites as a preservative, mostly in reds , most wines aren't vegan
+freezinfeet Actually most wine isn't vegan. They use various different animal products to filter the wine, including egg whites and other proteins.
Thomas McNabb never knew that, thanks :D
Definitely one of the most down to earth, non-annoying groups featured on this show. Not a bunch of annoying drunkards stumbling around all night
I honestly really appreciate these ones where in they don't get plastered drunk. Great episode.
That's the whole fucking point. To get drunk and cook food you'd like to eat while drunk and share it with all your other drunk friends.
k.
+thePowerPlant I don't think everyone has to get drunk (like most of the episodes right now) but what killed the episode is that they were boring regardless.... You cant honestly think this is a great episode? They even acknowledged that they didn't even talk and got caught yawning multiple times.

You should have used 5:55 as the thumbnail for the video. It perfectly sums up how I felt watching this. =)
+Jonas Rosenven Yes!!!! this!!!!!!!!
+Jonas Rosenven YEP
Because Nothing I crave more at the end of drinking all night is fresh seasonal vegetables...wtf
I think the bartender shaking drinks was the most action in this episode
Just saying but all chef night outs with asians were the best to be honest...
No hating but you should check it out and see the like - dislike ratio compared to this LA hipster
+m nguyen he is not ven a hipster, he is just plain boring
+m nguyen Not sure about that as a blanket statement, but one of my favorites is the Ramen chefs in Austin...
+m nguyen Agreed! Just watched how to make taiwan hot pot! That is amazing!
1:55 'Hey I'm an American and I'm from everywhere in the world.'
I watch and I think to myself... These are the new gangsters, the new Sinatra, like they're giving me a peek at what I can never have because I'm not a cool enough cat, and it just makes me want it that much more
Yuppie wine and cheese people are the worst.
+ArielHelwany You don't care for wine and cheese? Maybe with some grapes as well. It's so good man.
+ArielHelwany "it's vegan" lmao. And they're eating cheese and meats with it
+ArielHelwany Foreal slap a fucken new york style pizza on the table and get the tequila
Munchies is so hit and miss at times.
How is this guy so young and own soo many restaurants?
Tiago Santiago Trust fund.
how can you own four restaurants, and have so little to say?
god that was boring
+dave1233345 LOL Amen!
+dave1233345 This is the first Chef´s Night Out that i dislike, so boring.
+Korrozion Watch the Daneil Patterson episode they referenced.
One of the most talented chefs on here
I stopped watching when the guy said the Wine was Vegan.
19/10 reply
here in my lamborghini
+vinsanimo my first thought too
+vinsanimo hahahahah
how do these guys all own so many diff brick and mortars? are they rich before they start or?
I knew this episode was gonna be shitty when they showed Echo Park.
Organic vegan wine... God damn hipsters.
+Al3xTrucho20 actually.. its the better wines
+Dat nigga Caillou figured as much.
+Al3xTrucho20 Wine(as well as beer)is often filtered with animal products so not quite.

Great to see people do what they love and be successful!
I'm watching this right now but I'm reading the comments instead because they're infinitely more entertaining.
Really enjoyed how chilled out this episode was! Nice job, Munchies crew.
munchies could not save this episode. it looks like they even tried to make the awkward parts comical.
Some people are not cut out for CNO....like these people - who never go out unless "OMG we are going to be on RUclips!"
every chef must have a photographer friend
Everything looked super tasty.
his wife is gorgeous at least and the director of operation is has like the cutest most adorable personality in the world.
What's this guy's story? 7:54
+Dom's Sketch Cast He's whipping dandruff into the cocktail. its the new thing to do
+LordDude3 I'd pay an extra $20 for that, yeah!
I thought i was the only person that caught that what a douche.
+Dom's Sketch Cast His edgy hair is what define him as a person. A douche bag. Always make it easier to spot one.
+Dom's Sketch Cast Hahahaha
this was so awkward and well edited so it was funny AF. XD
this is the best one

I respect that.
+Glos Ox 9-10 times they skip a full day / take a half day of work to make these videos so I would not stress it too much.
No , that's just the difference between someone who's seen success and someone who hasn't. He's able to d this because he's established and probably has a team of chefs that can handle the kitchen for one night without him.
You sound extremely bitter, and it isn't a good look.
+PINOYREBEL91 Was just gonna say the same thing. Well spoken
I bet you would do it too.. For the publicity
280 Dead shows will mellow a dude out.
😭😭 I feel I just watched my parents. Lol
This episode looked like it came straight out of southpark.
i bet that guy is still shaking that cocktail.....
Love the chefs night out show lol
That Good Will Hunting joke took way too long lol
Kind of excessive shaking of those drinks "neck vein" guy... Made me laugh how hard he was trying for the show. 😄
Legend says that he is still shaking that drink until this day 8:14
"How's your cat Travis?"
"Pretty good."
WOW, FUCKING RIVETING PROGRAMMING RIGHT THERE.
does anyone know what music sountracks they used in this? thanks!
9:11 LOL, the hipster got defeated by a door
Wow. Munchies can be this boring.
Its great coz now my Programming class lecturer doesn't sound bad at all. Thanks...
The dogs are adorableeeeee!!!!!
The hipster levels are off the charts in this video. Your discretion is advised.
I actually thought this was great! munchies is the best.
Never thought I see a Henry's Puffy Tacos shoutout on Munchies.
I didnt hear the shotout. Only that he lived in SA.
If you're more excited to introduce your dogs than you are your wife, you got your priorities mixed up.
ahaha this episode is amazing. Im a sucker for some random funny moments and this had many of them , and its all in the editing game.
More Matty Matheson and Action Bronson!!
You should try to do a Bartender's Night Out. Maybe starting in Stockholm.
Great spots, I use to live in silver Lake
just wow
Really grilled veg and egg sandwhich's. Bravo!!!!!! (One hand clap)
Don't you think it's a bit strange that he calls cooked veggies a "crudité". "Cru" meaning "raw". Crudité is an assortment of raw ingredients presented as a dish. In french cuisine, this is usually broccoli, carrots, endive, celery, fennel, and somoetimes button mushroom, often with a dip of some sort.
i think hard liquor usually makes for a better Chefs Night Out episode
lmao @ 1:49 with the sign that says no cell phones unless ur a manager
Yo the intro scene literally was him saying they're the most boring group of people hahahaha stop complaining about it!
I almost feel bad for the film crew
chef's night out in London please. thanks
What the fuck is "vegan" wine when it's at home?
+sellingfullwheat No birds have touched the grapes, m8.
people in the comments seem to love this guy! likes and dislikes in a tie....
You should do a chef nigh out show with Adrian Herrera (Chef Herrera). He is unique and very extravagant.
Hmm wonder how ol' Genevieve got to be director of operations for Jewsef?
I'm a huge fan of Munchies and watch every episode. With that said, the hipsters were out of control on this one. "Tortellini from Bologna and Xiao Long Bao from the San Gabriel Valley"? You guys got to check out Peking Tavern in DTLA @munchies
Should name this show "Failed musicians turned hipster chefs" be pretty accurate. .
Seems like a rad cool dude :) I'll have to check out your join in LA.
Cheers!
thanks brutha
Surprised so much hate for this one...
At least they know they were boring.
Talent and personality sometimes just don't go hand-in-hand.
i got sleepy around the time that tortilla was finishing in the deep fryer.
not sure why this was rated poorly, they seem like fine people.
Amazing show..lol
- 😂😂😂 I thought it was just me. almost watched the whole damned thing.
What did I just watch?
say what you will...that brother got the badass puffy taco right!
They were not kidding about being boring in the beggining
Not the most exciting price of CNO but very humble successful guy
i liked this one
Please come to Toronto
That dude definitely grew up with a 9 pm curfew lol.
