I was 9 when MW2 came out & for the next 10 years I would be just like everybody else reminiscing on this game & expressing a love for the soundtracks in it. However at the same time for quite a while I would have thought classical or orchestrated music was shitty. After randomly learning about Hans Zimmer through films & shit that I’ve always loved I realized so much of his music has actually played a big role in things like MW2 that I’ve always loved. Huge congratulations to Hans because he has made a me a newfound appreciator of Orchestral & classic music, I don’t know if there is any other way I would have ever found myself looking for the live Orchestra version of this classic MW2 song if it weren’t for his amazing songwriting in all of his video game, movie, & film work. I am sure there are other surprising artists like Hans himself for me to discover, but I must credit him for being one of the big reasons this genre of music is still very much alive & well
