And Pentagon basically want to say that Pentagon choose to do music in their own way, not following the trend. That's why Ptg always came up with something different in every comeback. It's pretty obvious they are unique and has their own charm. That's what " I resist the gaze created by the time" refer to. About that first dance move, they do it in a real way, no speed up. that video was a performance video if you see in the title. They have to take the scene perfectly in one take, there's some edit for the video for better view of course. But you guys can check the real live version on their last stage of Road to Kingdom. This song actually made for their last performance for Road To Kingdom. It's a kpop survival show about winning a crown to be a "king". That's why they mentioned it in the end something about the crown. Pentagon created from a survival show too. The group name Pentagon means the shape of a pentagon that contains the meaning of becoming a perfect group by completing the five elements that an idol must have: vocal/rap, dance, teamwork, talent, and mind. They are a self producing group. Also if you see their performance, they not afraid to sing live, put a such facial expressions,dance well and always try their best to throw a great performance. they all can sing, that's why they still doing well for the latest comeback even without they main vocalist which is away for while enlist for army duty. Basquiat was a very good painter, of Latin descent and dark skin, who under pressure for his life uses illegal substances and dies young. Pentagon uses Basquiat as showing that you have to fight in this world for dreams, and not lower your arms. Because they are going to point you out, to discriminate, but you must be strong and move on.

My favorite. ;A; Not sure if anyone else mentioned it but if you youtube "Hui Basquiat" one of the first videos should be a subtitled clip from one of Hui's lives describing his whole thought process when making this song. It was absolutely fascinating and honestly kind of touching. Hui really thought things through so deeply and created a masterpiece in this song.
