Just to clarify the intro: I recorded and edited episodes 1-5 back in April and May (maybe March too-I kinda frogot 💀). After that, I took a two-month break from the world and didn’t upload the episodes. I'm all caught up now and since I'm in the middle of Re:Create there will be a slight delay in the coming episodes, so no members only preview this week! Thanks again for watching :)
Agreed on the jetpack. It's GREAT for saving time and building, but it also negates a decent portion of the challenge in this specific situation, AND you yourself have said that skyblocks are usually more uniform and cohesive, but this world is mostly random floating islands only reachable using, you guessed it, jetpacks. I think they're holding back an overall idea of bringing it all together because, like the animal farm, you're practically required to use them because of what you've built using them.
Shalz, you may have not seen my comment from the past video, but I want to give a tip: use minecarts to make portable working places so you don't waste time and food. Will make everything a lot more efficient.
I honestly would love you moving your crafting room form the old base's basement into the your new base - you put some much effort into the said room and I'd really miss it and its fun redstone
One of the best videos I've ever seen on RUclips! The music, the story, the editing, sound effects, your personality, projects, your humor. It probably feels weird but I think it's very emotional (yeah it's definitely weird) Thank you for sharing this content you're one of my favorite youtubers if you're not my favourite. Keep doing this man ❤
17:25 imo the thing you're doing wrong is the order of the structers, imo you should just build a flat piece of grass then build your main structure and terraform around your main structure then at end you're guaranteed you'll have enough space for you main structure
Two tips for the millstone. You can power it from beneath with a shaft, and you can output items from the sides using a funnel (both andesite and brass work)
Shalz turned integration hell (the hell we real life engineers experience when integrating stuff) into awesome planning and beautiful builds, absolute love it.
26:30 you could use that spot as a hub, and have 'cubicles' of what you need be moved into and out of the hub, with a stroage under your base, and if you make the cubicles small enough, you can limit the stress needed to power them and just have either the base itself power it, or the cubicles come with power
I honestly think you should rethink the main island and start building a smaller island purely for the stuff that’s still on it while you’re building islands for everything that’s on the main island. Turn the one block into a monument/tower thing so it’s the main focus in the middle
The hanging vines down to world limit looks bad, you should limit their growth short with strings underneath. Floating islands looks good, but you need more bridges, chains, and connections to the center. Another way to make it look good - instead of terraforming actual "terrain" make some islands that look like they are the reason everything floats. Whether they look like thrusters or floatation devices (ie. giant balloons or sci-fi tech) it will look better than building land.
as a possible reference for the sky island I'd suggest the islands from a game called SKYLANDERS It literally plays in the "skylands" which is the name of their world made up of many small or big or even continental islands floating above an infinite sea of clouds
I’m genuinely curious, why didn’t you turn the whole base into a Minecart contraption and then just place it where you wanted? Glue it all together, pick it up with the wrench and plop it down. Also Shalz I want to say I discovered your channel from Dejojo and Stam playing Re:Create and you have quickly become one of my favorite RUclipsrs to watch. Thank you for the amazing videos
Not to rain on your parade but I like the floating island look, it reminds you that it's skyblock. I'm partial to islands connected by bridges, but maybe you could take inspiration from pandora from avatar. Best of both worlds type shish.
1:51 not sure if useful for you, but hoes actually give you more seeds. When you break wheat as normal, use the hoe. Also works on carrots, potatoes, and beetroots.
Bruh, don't do this to me. My first time playing E2E, I just followed questlines and built what I could, when I could, but EVERY run since that one has been basically me planning out, painstakingly constructing, and finishing a base that I feel is large enough for all the quests and... I lose steam. I burn out. It's happened like a half dozen times.
i think that makeing diffrent "biomes" of islands is a good idea and by biomes i mean simalar terrain islands so please dont make all your islands basic and boring

Interesting
cool also why it says video sent 1 hour ago and your comment 1 day ago?
nvm im dumb... you just set to private first day ☠
Wheres cactus??
@Shalz wheres cactus at?
When I saw the thumbnail I was so scared that you lost the world...
Sorry 😬
Same
It’s called “Clickbait”
same
Same
And here I thought these were being recorded and edited week by week… Glad these weren’t lost in the dark corners of your hard drive Shalz :)

Shalz: "idk about Shactus Golden Factory as a name"
Also Shalz: "STORAGE", "TREES"

9:57 you know you can already duplicate dirt by tilling coarse dirt with a plough, coarse dirt is 2 dirt and 2 gravel for 4
You got a blaze cake farm so you can use it to make a steam engine powerplant island
I honestly would love you moving your crafting room form the old base's basement into the your new base - you put some much effort into the said room and I'd really miss it and its fun redstone
"I wanna tie things together"
>Immediately adds an even lower Y-level than anything else

Hey Shalz, I'm pretty sure a minecart contraption would have fixed your whole problem of moving your base and rotating it, but I might be wrong.
Absolutely love the terraforming!.
There should still be a few floating islands, but he’s right that they shouldn’t all be floating islands
17:25 imo the thing you're doing wrong is the order of the structers, imo you should just build a flat piece of grass then build your main structure and terraform around your main structure then at end you're guaranteed you'll have enough space for you main structure

Non-members wouldn’t get it as he posted them nearly at the same time for members and a big gap for non-members.
Did you forget mechanical bearing exist? You could have rotated it
Love your videos. Glad you haven't given up
Shalz turned integration hell (the hell we real life engineers experience when integrating stuff) into awesome planning and beautiful builds, absolute love it.
"I am going to do what no man bevore me has daren to do. I am making a dirt farm"
Meanwhile everybody who has played skyblock ever:"right?"

just got membership and i'm loving it!
You could make a roundabout next to the house entrance like those big fancy houses have. And like a fountain in the middle of it.
7:19 this is just gold
Love It! The terraforming looks great.
I honestly think you should rethink the main island and start building a smaller island purely for the stuff that’s still on it while you’re building islands for everything that’s on the main island. Turn the one block into a monument/tower thing so it’s the main focus in the middle
Dont forget the world cuz it makes great content :)

New video! Let's go!!!
I love your create one block series pls make more
17:30 - you there like:
is it too big?
and I'm here like:
nah, bro just turn that front house 180º and cover the middle island...
I really love this series !
And I imagine Cactus didn't log in once during that time 😂
shalz dont scare us like this
Use the old base as a place to store achievements or 'firsts' for build progress. The Shactus Company needs a place to display their achievements.
Shalz save the dog please
What would be cool design for the world is making it look like it's a massive island which shattered into many small islands
Thats some GoodTimeWithShalz terrain right there ma boi.
Shalz is the only minecraft create youtuber that pulls off incredible cinematic parts on their video
Shalz makes dirt, recieves a cease and desist from Sips Co for entering the dirt business.
Just a reminder that you can pick up a cart contraption with your wrench ! And you can rotate it.
"Weighted Ejector" more like "Aperture Science Aerial Faith Plate"
2:04 yeah here you were going to make a wood farm but got sidetracked with a diamond farm if you didn’t remember
You have a beautiful reading voice, id love to hear an audiobook narrated by you
you should put the house behind the trees that you already made and make the forest get more dense before the house
Not to rain on your parade but I like the floating island look, it reminds you that it's skyblock. I'm partial to islands connected by bridges, but maybe you could take inspiration from pandora from avatar. Best of both worlds type shish.
This is just in: Shalz keeps the stripped ones under his floor boards
should have used the minecart assembler to move the base shalz, would have been easier lol. Just pick up the base with a wrench and then move it.
"What do you mean you lost it? Go find it!"
20:26 wrong, it does look THAT good
Ahh yes, lost worlds, always a glorious find
You are literally my favourite RUclipsr and I have watched ALL of your vids
Ok this was really funny tho 24:23
we love you shalz!! :D
Time: 20:22, you can just move the base even more up into the air.
1:51 not sure if useful for you, but hoes actually give you more seeds. When you break wheat as normal, use the hoe. Also works on carrots, potatoes, and beetroots.
I got worried you lost the world then 😅😅😅
24:21 ok this part made me laugh way more then I should of 😂
You should make the main island the biggest and then connect all the others with chains to the main island.
PLEASE CHAIN THE ISLANDS TOGETHER LIKE MAKE CHAINS CONNECTING ALL THE ISLANDS TO THE MAINONE PLLEAS IT WOULD LOOK SO COOL
The chain was for transporting blaze. Caces
You can connect them using a minecraft update name: Caves and Cliffs!
Hello, new vid🎉
You could do a skyway (subway for the sky) to link your farms
Shactus Wood factory 🔥
Bruh, don't do this to me. My first time playing E2E, I just followed questlines and built what I could, when I could, but EVERY run since that one has been basically me planning out, painstakingly constructing, and finishing a base that I feel is large enough for all the quests and... You sould build clouds made of wool around the island so it looks like it’s being held up by clouds
Forget a world, forget a influencer, IT HAPPENS.
15:05 - isn't perfect but very close, like...
it isn't lke a minecraft terrain gen because that'd be INCREDIBLY hard to generate correctly...
Love your vids
The Great Ipad-kid forgettin' of 2024
amazing create youtuber
Hi shalz
Waiting for the day the shactus golden factory will be complete
So you're telling me Cactus has still not build a base in the two months Shalz took time off?
why not use a cart assembler for your base? so you can move and rotate it, as well as pick it up with a wrench?
Water doesn't freeze when it's waterlogged or covered by a block
WELCOME BACK TO 1 BLOCK XD
Hi shalz!
Hi :D
If you forgot about this I would love to see the dark corners of your hard drive lol
no way his newer base has a worse power situation than his starter base
Great video. ❤🎉
i think that makeing diffrent "biomes" of islands is a good idea and by biomes i mean simalar terrain islands so please dont make all your islands basic and boring
Use the minecart it’s so much easier
THE DOG?
Funny how he shamed cactus for not playing and then proceeded to not play for 2 months
Dam how far back is this 🤣🤣
Get the dog to the new base or Build a doghuse infront of it
Potato 🥔.
Happy thanksgiving!
if you are over your 30 unemployed or alone let me tell you your a champion man, you did it!
Let’s go
My man just a passive steam engine is batter than 4 waterwheels, just do it 😂
god i love this videos!
That explains why you weren't using the comments' suggestions!
I always thought you recorded, edited, and published the vid like the same week
Hi :D im early cause i love your vids
GGs
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you lost your sanity
