I remember this Legend. Did not know it was Nant Gwrtheyrn as the village they were from. Well presented and edited. An interesting true story, well some say it is....
Well the legend is remarkably detailed. It includes Rhys' Surname, the name of the church they were to be married in (which still exists), and the names of the farms the two were from - Rhys was from Ty Uchaf, and Meinir from Ty Hen, so there may well be a basis of truth here :)

I love this place. One of my favourite places on the Llyn. It's great to walk over Yr Eifl to Trefor on the other side of the mountain.
