Ahhhh....beautiful Venice!!! Seven years ago, my husband and I went to Rome, Naples and Florence. I was not vegan at that time, so I can't say if there were very many vegan options. BUT...I have found that if you want to switch up your spaghetti pomodoro, you can do it with spaghetti aglio e olio. Its a simple spaghetti with oil and garlic...I find that here in Calgary, if I go to a regular restaurant that is lacking vegan options, I can get the kitchen to make me this pasta. (as long as they have other pasta options on the menu) Sometimes I can even get some mushrooms, spinach or basil added to the dish. The struggle is very real!😀

I’ve been to Venice so many times and the absolute best place is La Tecia Vegana south of the bus stop.

Did you ever find La Tecia Vegana? Reservations are required. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but this is one place I will always go back to eat at.
