Another great aviation story Mkuru! Loved it! The Concorde was truly an engineering marvel. Fun fact: It typically cruised at 60,000 feet at twice the speed of sound! That is just mind boggling! On Feb 7th 1996, it flew from New York to London in 2 hours and 53 minutes. The shortest ever transatlantic travel in human history. For context, the typical airliner cruises at 30,000 feet at takes about 7.5 hours to cross the Atlantic Ocean from New York to London. Engineering is truly amazing!!

The speed of sound is 1150km/hr and the Concorde was double this meaning it is around 2300km/hr. This ws actually great. I wish I got it in operation. Saa hii Niko sure nijipate Kwa cockpit ya ndege, I will comfortably take off with what I have learnt from Abel Mutua

Great story even though it was a tragedy. The Concorde is a Marvel for your eyes if you're ever blessed to see one. They have 3 in Museums in the States......One in New York, another in Virginia and the other in Seattle. Classy plane, waaaay ahead of it's time👌🏽 Great story n tribute Mkuru👌🏽
